MAKNA EMOTIF DALAM DEBAT PUBLIK PUTARAN PERTAMA PASANGAN CALON WALIKOTA DAN WAKIL WALIKOTA SOLOK TAHUN 2020
Debate activities can also involve emotions. In linguistics, conveying the meaning of speech contains an element of emotion called emotive meaning. For this reason, the meaning of emotive is studied in the first round of public debates for the candidates for Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Solok in 2020. This study uses a qualitative approach and descriptive method to explain the emotive meaning used by pairs of candidates in debating. The emotive meaning studied is influenced by phonetic factors, slogans, emotive derivation, evaluation elements, emotive values, and evocative values. Of these six emotive meanings, the evaluation element that often appears is used by speakers in debating. This is because, the speaker gave an assessment of the previous leadership's performance related to all infrastructure fields in Solok City. The purpose of the speaker to bring up the evaluation element in his speech is to stand out, provide information, give the speaker strength, so that the people of Solok City can choose to replace the previous leadership position.Kegiatan berdebat, dapat juga melibatkan emosi. Dalam ilmu bahasa menyampaikan maksud ujaran memuat unsur emosi disebut makna emotif. Untuk itu dikaji makna emotif dalam debat publik putaran pertama pasangan calon Walikota dan Wakil Walikota Solok tahun 2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif untuk menjelaskan makna emotif yang digunakan pasangan calon dalam berdebat. Makna emotif yang dikaji dipengaruhi oleh faktor fonetis, slogan, derivasi emotif, elemen evaluasi, nilai emotif, dan nilai evokatif. Dari enam makna emotif ini, elemen evaluasi yang sering muncul digunakan penutur dalam berdebat. Hal ini dikarenakan, penutur memberikan penilaian atas kinerja pimpinan sebelumnya terkait semua bidang infrastruktur yang ada di Kota Solok. Tujuan penutur memunculkan elemen evaluasi dalam ujarannya adalah untuk menonjolkan diri, memberikan informasi, memberikan kekuatan penutur, agar dapat dipilih oleh masyarakat Kota Solok untuk menggantikan jabatan pimpinan sebelumnya
Peningkatan Penguatan Karakter Dan Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik Pada Tema Energi Dan Perubahannya Melalui Pendekatan Saintifik Model Project Based Learning Metode Pemberian Tugas Di Kelas III SDN 06 Kubang Semester Genap Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022
This study aims to determine the improvement of Character Strengthening and Student Learning Outcomes through a Scientific Approach Project Based Learning Model Method of Giving Assignments in Mathematics Subjects with Energy Themes and Its Changes in Class III Even Semester SDN 06 Kubang Academic Year 2021/2022. This research is a Classroom Action Research which consists of two cycles, where each cycle consists of; planning, action, observation, and reflection. It was carried out from February to April 2022. The data was processed in each cycle and then analyzed using percentages. The results obtained from this study are by using a scientific approach to the Project Based Learning model, the assignment method can improve character strengthening and student learning outcomes. This is evident from the increase in the strengthening of the learning character of pre-cycle students, which is 33%, the first cycle is 67%, and the second cycle is 100%, for the mastery of knowledge learning outcomes increased from the pre-cycle 74.00 with the percentage of completion 33%, the first cycle 78.50 with a percentage of 83%, and the second cycle 89.33 with a percentage of 100% For mastery learning skills, namely pre-cycle 73.00 with a percentage of 50%, the first cycle of 77.50 the rate of 67% and the second cycle of 89.50 the percentage of 100 %. The conclusion obtained from this study is that the use of a scientific approach to the project-based learning model of the assignment method can improve character strengthening and student learning outcome
KEMAMPUAN MENULIS TEKS PROSEDUR DENGAN METODE DEMONSTRASI SISWA KELAS VII SMP N 2 KOTA SOLOK TAHUN PELAJARAN 2021/2022
This research is motivated by the students' writing ability in learning procedure text with the demonstration method. This research is caused by the increase in students' learning motivation with active and presentative learning methods such as demonstration learning methods. This is in line with the observations and interviews that the researcher conducted with one of the Indonesian language teachers at SMP N 2 Solok City on November 25, 2021. The purpose of this study was to explain the ability to write procedural texts using the demonstration learning method of class VII students in the second semester of the academic year. 2021/2022 SMP N 2 Solok City. This research was conducted at SMP N 2 Solok City class VII. This type of research is quantitative using descriptive research methods. The research data was obtained using a performance test, which was to determine the structure and rules/language aspects of the procedure text. Data collection techniques in this study: (1) the first activity, the teacher describes the material about the procedure text, (2) the teacher provides opportunities for students to ask questions about the procedure text, (3) the teacher arranges student seats so that students can pay close attention to the text material. the procedure that the teacher will demonstrate, (4) the teacher presents a procedure text (titled making sweet tea) which is demonstrated as an exercise, (5) the teacher presents one procedure text (the title of turning off the computer (laptop) correctly) with different demonstrations for collecting data, and (6) students pay attention and write down what they see when the teacher demonstrates a procedure text. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the ability to write procedural texts with the demonstration method of students based on the structure of the procedure text was 79.35 with good qualifications and linguistic rules was 74.4 with more than adequate qualifications. Based on the results of the research described in chapter IV, it can be concluded that the ability to write procedural texts with the demonstration method of class VII students of SMP N 2 Kota Solok in the academic year 2021/2022 is 76.40 with good qualifications (B).Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kemampuan menulis siswa dalam pembelajaran teks prosedur dengan metode demonstrasi. Penelitian ini disebabkan karena motivasi belajar siswa yang meningkat dengan metode pembelajaran yang bersifat aktif dan presentatif seperti metode pembelajaran demonstrasi. Hal ini selaras dengan observasi dan wawancara yang peneliti lakukan dengan salah seorang guru mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia SMP N 2 Kota Solok pada 25 November 2021.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan kemampuan menulis teks prosedur dengan metode pembelajaran demonstrasi siswa kelas VII semester II tahun pelajaraan 2021/2022 SMP N 2 Kota Solok. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP N 2 Kota Solok kelas VII. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif. Data penelitian ini diperoleh menggunakan tes unjuk kerja, yaitu menentukan struktur dan kaidah/aspek kebahasaan teks prosedur. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini: (1) kegiatan pertama, guru menjabarkan materi tentang teks prosedur, (2) guru memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa untuk bertanya mengenai teks prosedur, (3) guru mengatur tempat duduk siswa sehingga siswa dapat memperhatikan dengan jelas materi teks prosedur yang akan guru demonstrasikan, (4) guru menyajikan sebuah teks prosedur (berjudul membuat teh manis) yang didemontrasikan sebagai latihan, (5) guru menyajikan satu teks prosedur yang (judul mematikan komputer (laptop) dengan benar) dengan demontrasi yang berbeda untuk pengumpulan data, dan (6) siswa memperhatikan serta menuliskan apa yang mereka lihat ketika guru mendemonstrasikan suatu teks prosedur. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh kemampuan menulis teks prosedur dengan metode demonstrasi siswa berdasarkan struktur teks prosedur adalah 79,35 dengan kualifikasi baik serta kaidah kebahasaan adalah 74,4 dengan kualifikasi lebih dari cukup. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diuraikan di bab IV, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan menulis teks prosedur dengan metode demonstrasi siswa kelas VII SMP N 2 Kota Solok Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022 adalah 76,40 dengan kualifikasi baik (B)
USING PARAGRAPH ANALYSIS IN TEACHING GRAMMAR
This experimental study assessed the effectiveness of using paragraph analysis in teaching grammar, especially in improving students’ knowledge and comprehension. In implementing this strategy students were asked to analyze every sentences in a paragraph where in every paragraph has misused of tenses and verb. During the process, the class activity mostly was in form of discussion. First activity was reading the text. Then, the students were asked to identify the tense of every sentences in the paragraph and analyzed whether or not there was a mistake in every sentences. The next step was students discuss in a group and reconstructed the inappropriate sentences. Before giving treatment to the students, they were given initial test. Then, at the end of the research the students were given final test. Both of the result of the tests were calculated by using t-test. Level of significant applied is 95% or 0.005. The calculation result was 0.004 which means there was a significant difference before implementing paragraph analysis and after the treatment

One of the media that is suitable for use during distance learning during this pandemic is e-module, which is a module with a different physical form from the print module, the components of the print module are processed in such a way that they are transformed into electronic ones. So the module here is an electronic version module where access and use is done through electronic devices such as computers, laptops, tablets or even smartphones. The purpose of this research is to produce a valid differential equation electronic module based on flipbook maker html software in google classroom. This type of research is research and development, this development uses the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model. The instrument used is a questionnaire validation sheet and student responses. The results showed that a valid Differential Equation Module based on flipbook maker html software on Google Classroom at FKIP UMMY Solok has been produced
PROFIL KEMAMPUAN PEMBUKTIAN MATEMATIS MAHASISWA DALAM MATA KULIAH ALJABAR ABSTRAK
This research aims to examine the profile of the mathematical proving ability of students in Abstract Algebra courses. The method of this research is included in this type of descriptive research. The subjects of this study were 3 students who studied Abstract Algebra courses from the high, medium and low mathematical proofing ability group. The results showed that students with high ability and are having the ability to read mathematical proofs and perform mathematical proofs. As for the ability to criticize proof by adding, reducing or reconstituted a mathematical proof for each group of students is still not visible
Pengaruh Pembelajaran Daring Berbasis Whatsapp Dan Motivasi Terhadap Hasil Belajar Matematika Peserta Didik Kelas IX SMP Negeri 5 Kota Solok
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of WhatsApp-based online learning and motivation on mathematics learning outcomes for Class IX students of SMP Negeri 5 Solok City. This type of research is a quantitative study with a population of students in class IX of SMP Negeri 5 Solok City which consists of 8 classes. The sampling technique is simple random sampling. The results of data analysis obtained the value of the correlation coefficient Rx1.x2.y = 0.89, meaning that WhatsApp-based online learning and learning motivation affect 79.21% of students' mathematics learning outcomes. After testing the hypothesis, the Fcount value is 127.64 simultaneously and the Ftable value is 3.13, it is known that the Fcount> Ftable means that there is a significant effect between WhatsApp-based online learning and simultaneous learning motivation on students' mathematics learning outcomes. class IX SMP Negeri 5 Solok City. Partially test the hypothesis, it was found that 1) The influence of the X1 variable on Y obtained the value of tcount = 16.20 > ttable = 1.995 meaning that there was a partially significant effect between WhatsApp-based learning on learning outcomes and 2) The influence of the X2 variable on Y was obtained the value of tcount = 15.04 > ttable = 1.995, which means that there is a partially significant influence between learning motivation on mathematics learning outcomes for students of class IX SMP Negeri 5 Solok City
STUDENTS' PERCEPTION IN USING DEBATE TECHNIQUE TO DEVELOP STUDENTS' SPEAKING SKILLS
This study aimed to understand how students thought about using classroom debate to improve students speaking skill. This study used descriptive quantitative approach by distributing a questionnaire with thirty statements and a 5-point Likert scale to collect some of the data. The informations were collected using a detailed questionnaire that was distributed to thirty respondents. Some problems were found in conducting debate; first, debate burdened the students, second, they felt loaded when a debate is running because they must respond to the motion given for three minutes without sufficient preparation, third, the lack of ideas and vocabulary related to the motion had also been identified as what made it difficult.. The result of the research reveals that a larger percentage of the students had a positive perception of the three aspects of the debate technique namely the benefits of debate, the part of debate, and the procedure of debate. In addition, most students selected the affirmative response.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi siswa tentang penggunaan teknik debat untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berbicara siswa. Beberapa siswa mempersepsikan debat secara positif dan beberapa siswa lainnya tampaknya mempersepsikan secara negatif. Beberapa masalah ditemukan dalam melakukan debat; pertama, debat membebani siswa, kedua, mereka merasa terbebani ketika debat berjalan karena mereka harus menanggapi mosi yang diberikan selama tiga menit tanpa persiapan yang cukup, dan ketiga, kurangnya ide dan kosa kata terkait mosi juga telah diidentifikasi sebagai apa yang membuatnya sulit. Informasi dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner rinci yang dibagikan kepada tiga puluh responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa memiliki persepsi positif terhadap tiga aspek teknik debat yaitu manfaat debat, bagian dari debat, dan prosedur debat. The aim of the paper is to investigate the experience and to identify the drivers of the transformation of traditional Islamic Universities into Entrepreneurial Islamic Universities to ensure the sustainability of Islamic Universities in West Sumatra. Due to its wide scope, characteristics of Entrepreneurial University, this research study is limited and focuses on universities that provide students with access to business facilities, business relations for students, and the university's openness to collaboration with students. its external stakeholders. An analysis of the experience of the IAIN Bukittinggi infrastructure university in providing services to students, as well as collaboration between Islamic universities and local governments and entrepreneurs shows a flat trend. On the other hand, such a trend cannot be observed for establishing an Entrepreneurial University at IAIN Bukittinggi over the past 5 years. The survey results indicate the need for higher efforts to assist young entrepreneurs in building cooperative networks and strengthening the co-creation of knowledge with external stakeholders
KEPRAKTISAN PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN SCRAPBOOK PADA MATERI LINGKARAN KELAS VIII SMPN 4 KOTA SOLOK
This research is development research (Design Research) using 3 stages of Plomp Models. The purpose of this research is limited only to seeing the practicality of developing Scrapbook media on the VIII grade circle material. The instruments used in this study were the teacher response questionnaire and the student response questionnaire. The valid scrapbook media was tested to see its practicality. The trial was conducted in 3 meetings. At the end of the trial, educators and students filled out a response questionnaire. The results of the analysis show that practicality by educators has an average value of 88.89% with very practical criteria and practicality by students has an average value of 87% with very practical criteria. The conclusion in this study is that Scrapbook media has been produced on the material for class VIII SMP Negeri 4 Solok City which is very practical
