    Persepsi Peserta Didik Kelas V SD Negeri 07 Talawi Hilir Terhadap Pembelajaran Matematika Menggunakan Media Audio Visual Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022

    The purpose of this study was to describe the perceptions of fifth grade students of SD Negeri 07 Talawi Hilir towards learning mathematics using audio-visual media in the 2021/2022 academic year. The population in this study were fifth grade students of SD Negeri 07 Talawi Hilir in the 2021/2022 academic year. The sample in this study were 10 fifth grade students of SD Negeri 07 Talawi Hilir who were taken randomly. The instrument in this study was a questionnaire of students' perceptions of learning mathematics using audio-visual media. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that 1) 70% of students have a very positive perception of audio visual media in learning mathematics; 2) 20% of students have a positive perception of audio visual in learning mathematics; and 3) 10% of students have a negative perception of the use of audio visual media in learning mathematics

    THE TRANSLATION STRATEGIES ON ADDRESS TERMS IN LOVE ROSIE MOVIE

             This research aims to find out the types of address terms found in the Love Rosie movie and to find out how the address terms are translated into Bahasa Indonesia. In collecting the data in this research, the researcher used the descriptive qualitative method. The data collected in this research were from the data sources which are the Love Rosie movie and the movie manuscript. The types of the address terms theories by Wardhaugh (2006: 271), Simatupang (2000: 77), and Larson (1984: 121), and the translation procedures theory by Vinay and Dalbernet (2000: 84-93) were used in analyzing the data in this research. This research used data analysis techniques by Miles, Huberman, and Saldana (2014). There were 65 data collected in this research. The findings of this research showed two main points. (1) There were 5 types of address; 6 data of pronouns, 17 data of kinship, 10 data of titles, 22 data of names, and 10 data of endearments. (2) There were six translation procedures applied in translating the address terms; 19 data translated by applying literal translation, 17 data by applying borrowing, 13 data by applying transposition, 1 data by applying modulation, 1 data by applying equivalence, and 14 data by applying adaption. Based on the data analysis and the findings, it can be concluded that the types of address terms found in the Love Rosie movie are in the form of pronouns, kinship, titles, names, and endearments. There are 6 address terms in the form of pronouns, 17 address terms in the form of kinship, 10 address terms in the form of titles, 22 address terms in the form of names, and 10 address terms in the form of endearments. Then, the translation procedures applied by the translator in translating the address terms in Love Rosie movie are using Vinay and Dalbernet’s (2000: 84-93) theory which are literal translation, borrowing, transposition, calque, modulation, equivalence, and adaptation. There are 18 address terms are translated by applying literal translation which is the most commonly used procedure by the translator, 17 address terms by applying borrowing, 12 address terms by applying transposition, 1 address term by applying modulation, 1 address term by applying equivalence, and 16 address terms by applying adaptation

    Hubungan Kausalitas antara Inflasi dan Pengangguran di Indonesia Tahun 2002 - 2021

    This study aims to examine the relationship between inflation and unemployment in Indonesia. The research data was taken from 2002-2021 from the World Bank (World Bank). The method used is Granger causality which previously performed the optimal lag test first. The results showed that unemployment had an effect on inflation. On the other hand, inflation has no effect on unemployment. This shows that the relationship between inflation and unemployment only occurs in one direction, namely from unemployment to inflation. Thus the trade off between inflation and unemployment occurs and inflation control must be implemented immediately. &nbsp

    This study aims to reveal: To determine the influence of organizational structure (X1) on the effectiveness of land rights certification services (Y) at the Payakumbuh City Land Office, To determine the influence of leadership (X2) on the effectiveness of land rights certification services (Y) at the Land Office City of Payakumbuh, to determine the influence of HR capabilities (X3) on the effectiveness of land rights certification services (Y) at the Payakumbuh City Land Office and to determine together the influence of organizational structure, leadership and HR capabilities on the effectiveness of land rights certification services at the Office Land of Payakumbuh City. The population in this study was 35 respondents who were directed at the Payakumbuh City Land Office Employees  The analytical tool used is Multiple Linear Regression using the SPSS program. The findings of this study are: 1) There is an influence between organizational structure and service effectiveness, there is a significant relationship between organizational structure and service effectiveness at the Land Office of Payakumbuh City 2) There is an influence of leadership on service effectiveness, there is a significant influence between leadership and service effectiveness at the office Land of Payakumbuh City.3) there is influence between HR capability and service effectiveness and there is a significant influence between HR capability and service effectiveness at the Payakumbuh City Land Office.4).     STUDENTS’ PERCEPTION ON THE USE OF E-LEARNING IN THE ENGLISH SUBJECT

             The objectives of this study were to find out students’ perception about E-learning in English Subject to the Tenth Grade Students’ Madrasah Aliyah Darun Najah Bangun Jaya and to find out strengths and weaknesses in using E-learning faced by the Tenth Grade Students’ Madrasah Aliyah Darun Najah Bangun Jaya. This study used a mix method by using questionnaires and open-ended questionnaires. The researchers used total sampling and the sample was 69 students. The data were collected through an online questionnaire distributed through Google Form and WhatsApp application. For analyzing the data, the researchers used a percentage analysis formula. Based on the result of the questionnaire, 36 students or 52.2% had negative perception of E-learning in English subjects, 31 students or 44.9% had positive perception and 2 students or 2.8% had neutral perception. It could be concluded that the Tenth Grade Student of Madrasah Aliyah Darun Najah Bangun Jaya has negative perception on E-learning in English subject. The result of the open-end questionnaire found that the strength in using the WhatsApp application is that it is easier to submit the assignment. E-learning can eliminate hesitation / unconfidence to practice English, and interaction and communication between teacher and students better. The weakness in using E-learning was students are difficult to understand the material given. They faced limited internet access and the time was not flexible, so that learning activities became ineffective

    The purpose of this research is to know the influence of implementing Guided Discovering Method that is followed by a competition at the end of Mathematic learning class VIII science SMPN 4 Pariaman.This research was a pre-experimental design with randomized control group only design. Based on the final test result of learning gained an average of mathematics learning outcomes in experimental class average of 78,14 and mathematics learning outcomes control class 72,89. T-test analysis results obtained tcount = 1,842 and ttable = 2,007 in the real level of 0.05 with df = 53, so tcount< ttable. This resulted tcount be in the region of rejection Ho in other words H1 accepted that the results of the experimental class students learn mathematics better than the control class. Based on data analysis can be implementing Guided Discovering Method that is followed by a competition at the end of Mathematic learning class VIII science SMPN 4 Pariaman

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh harga dan promosi terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen pada Toko Sulaman Lidya di Kota Bukittinggi. Untuk melakukan penelitian, penulis menggunakan data primer yang langsung diperoleh dari objek penelitian melalui pernyataan dari kuesioner yang terstruktur dan telah dijawab oleh responden, populasinya tak terhingga dan sampel 100 orang konsumen pada Toko Sulaman Lidya Di Kota Bukittinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan bantuan program SPSS  dan uji instrument yang digunakan adalah uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas dengan menggunakan analisis regresi binery logistic. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa harga memberikan pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen pada Toko Sulaman Lidya Di Kota Bukittinggi dan promosi memberikan pengaruh yang positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen pada Toko Sulaman Lidya Di Kota Bukittinggi. Hasil pengujian secara simultan diketahui bahwa variabel yang paling dominan mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian adalah Harga. Kata kunci : keputusan pembelian, harga dan promos

    THE USE OF VISUAL MEDIA IN TEACHING VOCABULARY

              The purpose of this study was to determine the efficacy of employing visual media in teaching vocabulary mastery in the seventh grade at UPT SMPN 3 Lunang. Several issues with students' vocabularies were discovered in the field. They were students' lack of motivation in expanding their English vocabulary, restricted vocabulary, and losing previously taught vocabulary. During the learning process, the researcher used visual media such as photos and actual objects to help students with vocabulary mastering. This study used descriptive quantitative research.The participants in this study were all UPT SMPN 3 Lunang students in the seventh grade. To collect the data, researcher used a test vocabulary from students. Based on calculated the data, the result of mean score  vocabulary mastery students was 75  included at level effective. Therefore, it can be concluded using visual media effective for students vocabulary at seventh grade of UPT SMPN 3 Lunang.        &nbsp

    THE ANALYSIS OF STRATEGIES USED BY THE ENGLISH TEACHERS IN TEACHING READING COMPREHENSION

           Identifying the strategy of teaching used by the teachers in their teaching activities is essential in junior high school classes to achieve the better competencies in English. The main purpose of this study was to discover what strategies were used by English teachers at grade eight of Junior High School 2 Kubung Solok in teaching reading comprehension in one semester of the 2019/2020 academic year. This research was designed by the combination of qualitative and quantitative descriptive research. The primary data were obtained by using questionnaires and interviews distributed to the English teachers. The secondary data were taken from students' daily English exam results by review the document on the scores stored by the teachers. Questionnaire was used in order to know what strategies were used by English teachers in teaching reading comprehension at each meeting of the week. Interviews were used to find out what, how, and how often the teachers use/implement the certain strategies in teaching reading comprehension. The third instrument, document review was used to get the data on students' daily exam results at each the time a certain strategy was used by the teachers. Based on the results of the data analysis, it is found that there were eight strategies that have been used by the teachers during one semester in teaching reading comprehension. Among the eight strategies used by the teachers, there are four strategies that were used dominantly; they were Scaffolding, Contextual Teaching, Summarizing, and Discussion strategies.             This study was intended to find out the effectiveness of repeated reading strategy toward students’ reading comprehension. This quantitative research done due to some problems found during reading class. First, the teacher used the conventional strategy since the teacher acted as the center of the class. Then, the students showed a little comprehension in reading, such as finding the main idea, reference, or inference of the text. Last but not least, the teacher admitted that the students often doubt about finding out the moral value of the text, because it was not written on the text. After doing treatment by implementing repeated reading strategy, researcher found that students’ reading comprehension was improved. It was showed that t-obtained was higher than t-table (6,872>2,064). Hence, there is a significant effect of repeated reading strategy toward student reading comprehension.Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh beberapa permasalahan yang biasanya ditemukan pada setiap sekolah diseluruh dunia, guru menggunakan strategi konvensional dimana ia sebagai guru bertindak sebagai center of the class. Ketika guru mengajar tentang teks naratif, dia hanya memberi siswa teks, membacanya bersama mereka, kemudian mengajukan beberapa pertanyaan terkait dengan teks tersebut. Artinya guru tidak mendorong siswa untuk lebih aktif di kelas yang merupakan kebalikan dari kurikulum 2013 dimana siswa dituntut untuk aktif. Kedua, siswa menunjukkan sedikit pemahaman dalam membaca, seperti menemukan ide pokok, referensi, atau kesimpulan dari teks. Masalah ini diamati ketika peneliti meminta beberapa siswa untuk menemukan gagasan utama paragraf tertentu Malin Kundang. Beberapa dari mereka tidak dapat menemukan ide utama paragraf, mereka hanya mengulangi kalimat pertama paragraf yang merupakan kalimat topik bukan ide utama. Ketiga, guru mengakui bahwa siswa sering ragu untuk menemukan nilai moral dari teks tersebut, karena tidak tertulis pada teks tersebut
