    One effort to improve the quality of science learning is how to teach students about critical thinking and problem solving. Critical thinking and problem solving are trained in this study include the ability to formulate problems, provide arguments, do deduction, do induction, and conduct evaluations in learning process. The purpose of this study is to determine student mastery learning, ability to solve the problem, and responses to the implementation of learning tools in material of Living Things and Environment sub-section of Pollution and Environmental Preservation. The design this research is pretest-posttest one group pre experiment using N-gain index. The subjek of this study is 32 students of Grade VII SMP Negeri 2 Moga. The results of this study indicate that the application of learning tools can train students' critical thinking skills and problem solving abilities. This is shown from the completeness of student learning by 83.3%. Most students give positive responses and assume the larning tools are used

    Instruments that are used in measuring student learning outcomes, especially science learning in the competency skills of scientific literacy and critical thinking skills in elementary school students must have adequate quality and eligibility. This study aimed to determine the quality and validity of the science achievement test instrument for class IV SD in learning materials Plants, the Source of Life on earth based on content validity tests. The research includes a quantitative descriptive approach with research subjects namely lecturers, class members, as well as class IV students at SDN 01 Wanurejan. Determining the validity of using the Aiken index to measure the level of validity of each question item. The results of the study show that the analysis of a score of 30 <n ? 50 is in the very good category, so the instrument as a whole has very good content validity, and can be used with a little revision. Meanwhile, the Aiken's index validity test obtained 2 items in the medium validity category and 8 items in the high validity category. Thus, overall the learning outcomes test instrument has good quality and validity so that it is suitable for use in measuring science learning, especially in the aspects of scientific literacy and critical thinking skills

    This study aims to analyze the content validity of the social skills assessment instrument based on the Aiken validity index, with the aim that the instrument can be used in accordance with the indicators. The research method used is a quantitative descriptive research method based on the results of content validity which is calculated using the Aiken formula. Content validity data were obtained from 8 experts, namely 8 grade VI elementary school teachers through Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The content validity test in this study used four criteria in the assessment, namely Not Relevant (TR), Less Relevant (KR), Quite Relevant (CR), and Relevant (R). The social skills assessment instrument produced 18 valid items with an Aiken index ? 0.75 and 2 invalid items with an Aiken index < 0.75.     This study aims to describe the problematic picture of English teacher readiness at SMAN 9 Makassar in terms of teacher professionalism and constraints in implementing different curricula. This study uses qualitative methods through a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques are carried out by observing, interviewing, and documenting. The results of the study show that English teachers at SMAN 9 Makassar are ready in terms of knowledge, but are not yet mentally ready to teach two different curricula, because there are several obstacles they face such as inadequate facilities, as well as the limitations of some teachers who have not received training. intensively to deal with the Independent Curriculum. In addition, the results of observing the professional competence of English teachers at SMAN 9 Makassar show that teachers have an attitude of professionalism in carrying out the Curriculum-2013 and Merdeka Curriculum

    Many teachers have problems in publishing scientific articles in National Journals. This service activity aims to provide training and assistance for teachers at SMK Negeri 6 Semarang so that they have the knowledge and skills in making scientific articles and can publish them in the National Journal. The method used to achieve this goal is by training more questions and answers and practice as well as mentoring in the publication of scientific articles. The training material is presented with more practice than theory, with a ratio of 25% theory and 75% practice. Community service activities have been able to increase teachers' understanding in preparing scientific articles and submitting scientific articles to the national journal via OJS. This is in line with the results of community service activities where 75% of registered teachers attended training and 85% of trainees scored above 75 based on the results of the training posttest. The increase can be seen from the average pre-test score of 66.13 which increased to 83.60 at the posttest or the equivalent of 87% of participants having understood the preparation of scientific articles

    Students at the Public Elementary School in Cluster Bawana Ageng, Tembalang District, showed a significant decrease in their learning outcomes for Javanese after implementing online learning. This is due to the lack of student learning independence which can be seen from the dependence of students on parents while studying at home. This type of quantitative research. The population is all students of Gugus Bawana Ageng Tembalang Public Elementary School, Semarang. The sample is 179 based on calculations using the Slovin formula. The instrument is a questionnaire. Data analysis through instrument test, prerequisite test and linear regression test. The results of this study indicate that independent learning affects students' language learning outcomes (t-count 8.257 > t-table 1.97353 and sig 0.000 <0.05) with a large effect of 37.9%. Learning motivation has an effect on students' learning outcomes in Javanese (t-count 11,011 > t-table 1.97353 and sig value 0.000 <0.05) with a large influence of 49.4%. Learning independence and learning motivation simultaneously affect students' learning outcomes in Javanese (F-count of 6.525 > F-table of 3.05 and Sig value of 0.00 <0.05) with a large influence of 62.6%

    Mathematics is a subject that gets special attention because it is the most important field of study and the basis for studying other sciences. The Problem Based Learning learning model is learning that is used to stimulate students' critical thinking skills and the Project Based Learning model is learning activities that use projects as a learning process to achieve attitude, knowledge and skill competencies. The research method uses experiments with a True Experimental Design in the form of a Posttest-Only Control Design. The sample in this study used a cluster random sampling technique, with a sample of three classes from all class VIII SMPN 20 Semarang. The data collection techniques used are tests, documentation and observation. The results showed that there were differences in students' critical thinking abilities with the Problem Based Learning model, Project Based Learning model and conventional learning, where students' critical thinking skills with the Problem Based Learning model (p=0.000) and the Project Based Learning model (p=0.016) were more better than the conventional learning model, but students with the Problem Based Learning learning model and the Project Based Learning model showed no difference in critical thinking skills (p=0.117)

    Multiliterasi adalah konsep yang mengacu pada kemampuan individu untuk berkomunikasi dan berinteraksi dengan menggunakan berbagai jenis literasi atau keterampilan berbahasa dalam konteks yang berbeda. Keaksaraan tradisional mencakup kemampuan membaca, menulis, dan berhitung, tetapi dengan kemajuan teknologi dan budaya yang berubah, multiliterasi menyadari bahwa individu harus mengembangkan keterampilan tambahan untuk berpartisipasi secara efektif dalam masyarakat yang semakin kompleks dan digital. Dalam konteks multiliterasi, individu harus mampu menginterpretasikan dan memproduksi teks tidak hanya melalui tulisan, tetapi juga melalui gambar, suara, video dan bentuk media lainnya. Kemampuan ini diperlukan untuk berpartisipasi dalam berbagai situasi komunikasi, baik di sekolah, tempat kerja, maupun kehidupan sehari-hari. Pendekatan multiliterasi dalam pendidikan mendorong pengajaran yang memperhatikan keberagaman budaya, latar belakang, dan konteks sosial peserta didik.     DESY RIANI HAFSHAH."The Influence of Problem-Based Learning Models on Learning Outcomes of Class III Students of SD Negeri Sawah Besar 01 Even Semester Year 2022/2023". The background that drives this research is SDN Sawah Besar 01 which uses a conventional learning model which makes learning outcomes not optimal so it requires a learning model that can increase student interest and learning outcomes. The formulation of the problem of this research is whether the learning model is Problem Based Learning ( PBL) affects the learning outcomes of class III students at SD Negeri Sawah Besar 01 even semester in 2022/2023?. This type of research is quantitative research in the form of a Quasi Experiment with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design form. The population in this study were class III students at SDN Sawah Besar 01 Semarang. The samples taken were 50 students, of which 25 students were in the experimental class and 25 were in the control class. The data in this study were obtained from tests, observations and documentation. Based on the results of data analysis in the control class, the average pretest score was 72.67 and the posttest average value was 75.84. In the experimental class, the average pretest score was 78.24 and the posttest average value was 84.16. The results of the hypothesis test obtained a significant value of 0.047 <probability of 0.05 which indicates  is rejected and  is accepted, meaning that there is an influence on learning outcomes using the Problem Based Learning model for class III students at SDN Sawah Besar 01 Semester Even

    Pelatihan Pembuatan Eco Enzyme dari Sampah Kulit Buah bagi Masyarakat Desa Sorogenen II Kulon Progo

    Waste is a problem that has not been resolved properly in Indonesia. Likewise, in Sorogenen II village, Kulon Progo district, where the majority of livelihoods are farmers, gardeners and traders related to agriculture and plantations, there is still not much information on the management of organic waste, especially crop and fruit waste. Several efforts to utilize waste have been made. One way to utilize waste from fresh fruit peels is to ferment it with molasses so that after 3 months it will become eco enzyme. This enzyme liquid has been used as a natural fertilizer, pest repellent, and cleaning liquid. The training conducted by volunteers of the eco enzyme archipelago, PKK group and UAD community service team took place in Sorogenen II village, Kulon Progo district. In addition to the delivery of how to make eco enzyme, the utilization and business opportunities of eco enzyme were also delivered in the training. A showcase of eco enzyme products was also held at UAD and many visitors were enthusiastic about making eco enzyme independently
