    Thematic learning is a learning activity designed to maximize the role of students in the learning process, only in its implementation the thematic learning process tends to focus on the teacher, which results in low student learning outcomes. The thematic learning outcomes of grade 5 students in the science material of single and mixed objects are still low, due to less creative methods and learning so that students are less interested and enthusiastic in carrying out learning in class. For this problem, the author designed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) in order to improve student learning outcomes. The Classroom Action Research (CAR) implemented includes 3 stages, namely action planning, action implementation and observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study were 14 grade 5 students of SD Negeri Tangkis 1 Guntur, Demak Regency. Data collection was carried out using test and non-test techniques, which used question items and observation sheets. The results of the pre-cycle study showed that out of 14 grade 5 students who got scores above the KKM were 4 students (28% of 14 students), and those who got scores below the KKM were 10 students (71% of 14 students). The average score in the pre-cycle was 60.40. In the implementation of cycle I, it can be seen that the score above the KKM was 9 students (64% of 14 students), and those who got a score below the KKM were 5 students (36% of 14 students). The average score in cycle I was 66.29. The results of cycle II showed that there was an increase in student achievement results, 11 people or 79% completed and 3 people or 21% got a score below the KKM with an average score of 71.40. So it can be concluded that learning using the Project Based Learning method can improve the learning outcomes of 5th grade students in the science subject of Single Objects and Mixtures

    Achieving social welfare in all aspects is one of Indonesia's national goals. The village, as the smallest unit in the structure of society, is often neglected in efforts to achieve this goal. Therefore, regulations were created to address village issues in the hope of improving their welfare. One of the aspects regulated in village regulations is BUMDes, an entity that has a significant role in improving the village economy. This article will discuss the role of BUMDes in advancing the economy, with a case study of Balongmojo Village. Several work programs are proposed, including diversifying the production of kerupuk kelor, creating attractive packaging designs using Canva, and utilizing sugarcane bagasse waste to make it marketable. The results show that BUMDes can be effective in improving the economy of Balongmojo Village by developing local entrepreneurs through strong branding strategies and product market expansion

    Peningkatan Minat Belajar Melalui Media Powerpoint dan Proprofs Brain Games Bagi Siswa Kelas III

    The results of the initial reflection obtained information that the level of student interest in learning at Bermi State Elementary School is still low. To overcome this, the researcher applied Microsoft Powerpoint and Proprofs Brain Games learning media. The method used in this study was Survey Research. The subjects in this study were grade III students of Bermi State Elementary School. The data collection technique used in this classroom action research used questionnaire instruments, tests and documentation. The results of the study showed an increase in student interest in learning after using Microsoft Powerpoint and Proprofs Brain Games media by 56%. Before using the media, out of 25 students, 4 students had good learning interests, 7 had sufficient learning interests, and 14 students had poor learning interests. After using the media, students experienced an increase in learning interests with details of 25 students, 2 students had very good learning interests, 13 students had good learning interests, and 10 students had sufficient learning interests. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of Microsoft Powerpoint and Proprofs Brain Games media can increase the learning interests of grade III students of Bermi State Elementary School, Mijen District, Demak Regency

    One of the cultural behaviors of local wisdom that is starting to disappear is related to how manage the "garbage". Several communities still throw garbage out of place, such as in the river. On the other hand, the effects of this waste that was disposed of carelessly are very long-term for human health and also the environment. This culture is eventually emulated by their children and grandchildren who are still in school. For this reason, community awareness regarding waste needs to be directed, one of which is the management of a community waste bank. In Tegalsari Village, Ambulu Jember there is one Cipta Mandiri Waste Bank that has been operating for the last 3 years. The Waste Bank activity went quite well, but less than 20% of the community participated, especially young people and children who were less interested. So that the empowerment of the Waste Bank needs to be supported in order to be able to pass down the local culture of being aware of waste, especially for elementary school students through the socialization and education of ethnomathematics worksheets in the elementary school. The results of the activity showed that 78% of students wanted to take part in the waste bank around their homes and they enjoy learning with ethnomathematics worksheets about garbage

    Writing is a language competency that exists in every level of education, from preschool to college. The purpose of this study was to improve the ability to develop main ideas in paragraphs in grade V students of SDN Mangunjiwan 2, Demak District using the picture and picture method. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with four stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. This study was conducted in two cycles. The subjects in this study were 18 grade V students of SDN Mangunjiwan 2, Demak District. Data collection techniques in this study were tests, observations, interviews and documentation. The indicators of success in this study are for individual learning provisions if the proportion of students' correct answers is more than the KKM that has been set and for classical learning completeness if at least 70% of all students have achieved KKM. The results of the study from cycle I obtained classical completeness of 67% with 12 students completing, while the results of cycle II classical completeness of 83% with 15 students so that the indicators of success were achieved in cycle II

    This research was conducted at Pasir 3 Elementary School, Mijen District, Demak Regency in Class V with 27 students, as the background of the problem is the low value of this material from the KKM, the teacher's ability to teach only with existing methods, the purpose of this study is to improve learning outcomes on the Addition and Subtraction Operation Material of Fractions with Unlike Denominators Through Fraction Block Media. Classroom action research or Action Research. The actions taken in this study were 2 cycles where each cycle had 2 meetings. Data were collected using observation sheets and learning outcome tests carried out at the end of the cycle. The results achieved from this study were an increase in student learning outcomes on the Addition and Subtraction Operation Material of Fractions with Unlike Denominators which were seen to have increased after continuous practice and supervision through the Implementation of Fraction Block Teaching Aids. This can be proven by the final test scores of students in cycle 1 proven by an average score of 53.3 with a completion of 37.04%, increasing ability to increase the results of children's achievements in cycle 2 with an average score of 90 with a completion of 88.88%. The results of this study indicate that the use of Through Fraction Block Media on the Material of Arithmetic Operations of Addition and Subtraction of Fractions with Dissimilar Denominators provides a picture of a significant increase in learning outcomes towards the ability to understand students' learning outcomes. Based on these findings, it is suggested to teachers that the media applied by researchers can be used as an alternative in order to improve the ability to understand concepts or materials in the field of Mathematics Studies and do not stop trying and applying models, techniques or the use of teaching aids in the teaching and learning process

    The background of this research is students who experience difficulties in solving mathematical problems, students who have not mastered the basic concepts of geometric shapes, learning models have not been able to stimulate students in solving mathematical problems. The research objective was to determine the effectiveness of the guided discovery learning model on the ability to solve geometric material problems. This research is an experimental research with a True-Experimental design and uses a pretest-posttest control group design. The sample in this study were fifth grade students consisting of two classes, each consisting of 24 students. The results of this study show the calculation of the average increase in the experimental class and control class, reinforced by the results of the t-test obtaining a significance value of 0.03. Where the significance value is less than 0.05 (0.03 <0.05) then H0 is rejected. So that the guided discovery learning learning model is better than the problem solving abilities of students who take part in conventional learning. Mastery learning in the experimental class with a classical score percentage of 92% and 79% classical value in the control class, so that the guided discovery learning model is said to be effective in improving problem solving abilities

    The aim of the research was to find out how the development of e-book media for creative learning of complex analysis material for students in the fifth semester of Mathematics Education students at PGRI Semarang University was feasible according to expert judgment, knowing the development of e-books for creative learning of complex analysis material for practical fifth semester students used in learning and knowing effective e-book learning creative learning on complex analysis material in fifth semester students in Mathematics Education students at PGRI University Semarang. Research development using the 4-D Thiagarajan model. The defining and planning stages were carried out so that draft I was obtained. Then at the development stage validation was carried out by two experts/experts using the learning tool validation sheet, so that suggestions were obtained to revise draft I to draft II so that it was feasible and could be used in learning. Furthermore, a limited trial was carried out to obtain input that was used to revise draft II to draft III. The research instrument is a test instrument. From the development of creative learning e-books on complex analysis material it was declared feasible, and from data analysis using the right-sided t test, it was found that learning outcomes using creative e-books on complex analysis material for fifth semester students were better than conventional classes
