    The aim of this research is to improve the learning outcomes of class V students at SD Negeri Mranak 2 using the PBL Learning Model for the 2021/2022 odd school year in the Indonesian language subject of listening material. This research is classroom action research (PTK) with 4 stages of implementation through cycle I and cycle II. The data collection techniques in this research are written test techniques, documentation, observation through cycle I and cycle II. Data analysis in this research is student learning outcomes in cycle I and student learning outcomes in cycle II using descriptive statistical tests. Grade 1 students at SD Negeri Mranak 2 were able to improve learning outcomes for listening material from cycle I with class classical completeness of 9 students (39.13%) and in cycle II with class classical completeness of 20 students (86.96%) with a minimum score of obtained in accordance with the minimum KKM that students must obtain, namely 75

    Critical thinking is an important element which students have in the school. However, the critical thinking in the students nowadays is in the lower level.  Junior high school students need to have good critical thinking skills, so that they are able to compete in the current and future era of information and globalization. The purpose of this study was to determine the profile of the critical thinking skills of junior high school students in integrated science learning (biology). The indicators used in this study from Ennis include: giving simple explanations, building basic skills, concluding, making further explanations, strategies and tactics. The subjects of this study were 32 students of Grade 9 Junior High School. This research uses a descriptive method. The data collection technique is purposive sampling. The method used is observation and tests. Data collection instruments consist of critical thinking skills instruments. The results showed that the profile of critical thinking skills of SMP N 2 Karanganyar students on average was 67.08% in the good category

    This research is motivated by the low critical thinking ability of students, one of which is the use and selection of inappropriate learning models. Researchers used the Problem Based Learning model with videos of changes in the shape of objects. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning model with videos of changing the shape of objects to improve students' critical thinking skills. The research method used is Quasi Eksperimental Design, the sampling of this research uses 2 study groups totaling 12 students for the Experiment class and 12 students for the Control class. The instrument in this study used a test of students' critical thinking skills in the form of questions, namely pretest and posttest. The variables in this study consisted of the independent variables of the Problem Based Learning model with videos of changes in the shape of objects and the dependent variable was the ability to think critically. The data analysis method was carried out by applying the Independent Sample t-test to test the hypothesis and the N-Gain test to assess the effectiveness of the learning model. Independent Sample t-test obtained sig. (2-tailed) of 0.004 <0.05, it is concluded that there is an influence or Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. The results of the effectiveness analysis using the N-Gain test obtained a score of 0.4922, meaning that the level of effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning model with changes in the shape of objects in the experimental class is included in the medium category

    A Garbage is one of the environmental problems that has yet to be seen in Indonesia. Garbage is one of the causes of air pollution, water pollution, and soil pollution. The problem of waste is also a concern of the district government, including Takalar Regency, especially the Department of Cleanliness and the Environment. The waste management policy in Takalar Regency is contained in the Takalar Regent's Regulation Number 65 of 2018 concerning Policies and Strategies of the Takalar Regency Government in the Management of Household Waste and Types of Household Waste. As a follow-up to the policy, it is also necessary to have active participation from academics to provide enlightenment to the public about the dangers of waste, especially food waste which is addressed to residents of Manyingarri Housing. The purpose of this service is to invite the public to have knowledge and awareness in reducing the risk of food waste by utilizing it into compost that can be used by farmers who live around the housing complex area. The methods used in this activity are discussion, question and answer, and direct door-to-door visits. This service received an enthusiastic response from the government, community leaders, and the general public, so they hoped that similar activities could be carried out in a sustainable manner

    The problem that is often encountered in teaching PAI at SDN Medini 1 is the lack of enthusiasm of students towards the material presented by the teacher in lectures. This study aims to determine the effect of the application of audio-visual media on students' interest in learning in PAI subject matter for the Apostle of Allah Idols Class V at SDN Medini 1 Gajah, Demak Regency, in the 2021/2022 academic year. In collecting data in this study using the methods: observation, documentation, and questionnaire. The results of data collection were then analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results showed that the application of audio-visual media in PAI learning the material of Allah's Apostle Idol was able to increase students' interest in learning. This can be seen from the indicators of interest, namely feelings of pleasure which initially reached 55.22%, increasing to 79.46% in the good category. On the indicator of interest from 56.59% to 79.76% in the good category and on the indicator of enthusiasm for learning which was originally 53.31% changed to 79.76% in the good category

    This study aims to develop a test instrument based on scientific literacy on the material of the digestive system. The design of this research is Research and Development (R&D). The test instrument was tested for validity, reliability, and the level of difficulty and differentiating power of questions to determine students' scientific literacy abilities. The subjects of the research trial were fifth grade students of SD Negeri Tosaran, Kedungwuni District, Pekalongan Regency. The validity test was carried out with content validity, criteria, and expert validation. Reliability test is done by looking for the price of the reliability coefficient. The characteristic test is carried out by determining the level of difficulty and distinguishing power. The results of the reliability test obtained are the value of r in the 0.840 test. The results of the validity test showed that the instrument was declared to meet content validity, criteria, and expert validation with valid and very valid criteria. The characteristics of the evaluation instrument developed indicate that the instrument has a proportion of difficulty levels, namely 30% moderate questions, and 70% difficult questions. The results of the discriminatory analysis were then combined with the level of difficulty and obtained 10 items of good quality that could be used

    This study aims to determine the effect of Characteristics (X1) and Lecturer Personality (X2) on Lecture Motivation (Y) of students of the Economic Education Study Program, University of Muhammadiyah Purworejo. This research is a type of quantitative research. The research population was all students of the Economic Education Study Program, University of Muhammadiyah Purworejo totaling 120 people and with an error rate of 5%, the number of samples was 89 people. The sampling technique used is proportionate stratified random sampling, which is the technique used when the population is heterogeneous or consists of stratified groups. The research instrument used a questionnaire with five alternative answers. The test of the instrument used the formula for testing the validity and testing the reliability. The data analysis technique used descriptive and quantitative analysis with simple correlation, multiple correlation, t test, and F test. The results showed that there was a significant influence between Characteristics (X1) and Lecturer Personality (X2) on Lecture Motivation (Y) partially or simultaneously. with values ??respectively 0.001 < 0.05, 0.000 < 0.05, and 0.000 < 0.05. Based on the results of the simple regression test and multiple regression, the hypothesis (Ha) which states that there is a significant influence between Characteristics (X1) and Lecturer Personality (X2) on Lecture Motivation (Y) partially or simultaneously is declared acceptable

    This study aims to determine the literacy profile of the students of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Demak. This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research. The sample in this study were 71 students of class XI MIPA Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Demak. Data collection techniques using the test method The test given to research subjects regarding environmental literacy includes four components, namely: ecological knowledge (17 multiple-choice items), skills in solving environmental problems (10 multiple-choice items), attitudes and concern for the environment (25 items). Likert scale type items), and environmentally responsible behavior (12 items). The research data were analyzed descriptively based on the achievement score criteria of each environmental literacy indicator. The results showed that the ecological knowledge component obtained an average score of 66.61%, (good) skills in solving environmental problems 40.20%, (less) attitude and concern for the environment 55.60% (enough), and responsible behavior. responsible for the environment 73, 38% (good). Skills in solving environmental problems and attitudes and care for the environment need to be improved so that the environmental literacy of MAN Demak students will be very good

    The results of observations and interviews in science learning for fifth grade elementary school, the material of human blood circulation and its functions have difficulty understanding because the teacher is active but the students are passive, and also the limitations of the learning media used by teacher. This study aims to determine the practicality of APKOBAR media in bioedutainment strategies in science learning for students at SDN Tembok 02, Limpung District, Batang Regency. This research is research and development by adopting the ADDIE model (analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). The analyze stage includes initial analysis, student analysis, concept analysis and formulating learning objectives. The design stage includes making the apron media framework, which is designed to have a box-shaped space covered in transparent plastic which is used as a place for material images. The development stage includes combining the collected materials into media and developing instrument data. The implementation phase includes the application of APKOBAR media that has been developed for fifth grade students at SDN Tembok 02. The tests carried out at this stage are product feasibility tests, readability, and pretest-posttest for fifth grade students, with the result showing the readability of small-scale with an average score of 37,5 at interval X > 33,54 with very good category. The students’s readability test on a wide scale obtained an average score of 36,2 at interval X > 33,54 with a very good category. The results of the practicality test by practitioners consisting of class teachers and colleagues were declared valid in terms of appearance, material aspects and language aspects, as evidenced by the acquisition of an average score of 57 with an interval of X > 50.4 with a very good category. The evaluation stage includes the form of evaluation carried out at each stage of the ADDIE model. The conclusion of the study shows that the APKOBAR media in the developed bioedutainment strategy is feasible and practical to use in science learning for elementary school students
