A Review On The Cooling Technique Of Solar PV System

    No full text
Being the most widespread renewable energy generation system, photovoltaic (PV) systems face major problems, overheating and low overall conversion efficiency. The electrical efficiency of PV systems is adversely affected by significant increases in cell temperature upon exposure to solar irradiation.  There have been several ways to remove excess heat and cool down the PV to maintain efficiency at fair levels. A hybrid photovoltaic/thermal system cooled by forced air circulation blown by a PV-powered fan can set up, and a rectangular control volume with cylindrical ends has been built at the back of the PV panel where aluminum fins have been placed in different arrangements and numbers

Demand Forecasting of Spare Parts of Automobiles using Gaussian Support Vector Machine

    No full text
Reordering motor vehicle spare parts for the purposes of stock replenishment is an important function of the parts manager in the typical motor dealership. Meaningful reordering requires a reliable forecast of the future demand for items. Production planning and control in remanufacturing are more complex than those in traditional manufacturing. Developing a reliable forecasting process is the first step for optimization of the overall planning process. In remanufacturing, forecasting the timing of demands is one of the critical issues. The current article presents the result of examining the effectiveness of demand forecasting by time series analysis in auto parts remanufacturing. A variety of alternative forecasting techniques were evaluated for this purpose with the aim of selecting one optimal technique to be implemented in an automatic reordering module of a real time computerized inventory management system

Enhancement of collector efficiency of solar chimney power plant: A Review

    No full text
Present work provides a general literature view of solar chimney power plant which operates on principle of conversion of solar energy into electrical energy. The heat radiation from sun is used to heat up the air and this heated air is produce upward draft which pass through a chimney which rotates the turbine. The turbine is used to drive the rotor of an AC alternator and generate the electricity. The main objective of the present work to study about solar chimney power plant. The present review includes various factors related with solar chimney power plant, plant efficiency, collector efficiency effect of solar radiations on solar chimney and its optimization designs and other parameters that can affect operational performance of solar chimney power plant, also included various experiential, mathematical and computational models

Review on The Production Of Concrete By Using Waste Coarse Material

    No full text
Marble Industry produces large amount of waste during mining and processing stages. This waste is dumped on to open land which creates a lot of environmental problems. Similarly granite is also produced in the same manner in great amount. We get recycle aggregate from the old dumped structures and buildings. the main objective of this study was utilization of marble, granite and recycled aggregate waste with polypropylene fiber as a replacement for conventional natural coarse aggregates in concrete

Survey on Estimation of Heat Generation in Metal Cutting Tools

    No full text
Cutting tools with hard coatings have been successfully employed in the industry for almost 50 years. Nowadays, 85% of all cemented carbide tools are coated. There is an increasing demand for ever more efficient tools driven by the use of new workpiece materials as well as the demand for increased productivity of manufacturing processes. Cutting tools are an excellent example for how the development of coated products is traced methodologically by means of a holistic view over the application. The demand for innovative tooling concepts will continue to exist in the future, as will the high potential for this aim to be achieved through high-performance coatings on improved cutting materials with adjusted tool design. This paper provides a review on cutting tools and heat estimation technique in cutting tools and further finite element analysis is also performed

Modelling of Grid Connected Solar Wind Hybrid Energy System having Artificial Intelligence Techniques for Power Enhancement and System Stability

    No full text
Energy demand is growing rapidly and the use of renewable energy sources plays an important role in reducing the gap between supply and demand. The introduction of multiple power electronics and non-linear loads is added to the network and causes power quality problems. The problem of lack of energy and the problem of the quality of energy can be solved at the same time using the inverter connected to the renewable sources grid system However, a grid connected microgrid suffers a crucial stability issues during a fault in utility grid. The integration of the solar system with the network is rather complex and expensive. With this construction proposal, however, it is not only possible to create an economical and simple hybrid system, but also a reliable, efficient and economical system. The system is made economic by implementing a wind energy system along with fuel cell system in the solar system. Efficient controlling methods based on intelligent control can be implemente

Power Compensation Methodologies in Solar Based System: A Survey

    No full text
Cascaded multilevel converter structure can be appealing for high-power solar photovoltaic (PV) systems thanks to its modularity, scalability, and distributed maximum power point tracking (MPPT). However, the power mismatch from cascaded individual PV converter modules can bring in voltage and system operation issues. This paper addresses these issues, explores the effects of reactive power compensation and optimization on system reliability and power quality, and proposes coordinated active and reactive power distribution to mitigate this issue. A vector method is first developed to illustrate the principle of power distribution. Accordingly, the relationship between power and voltage is analyzed with a wide operation range. Furthermore, a comprehensive control system with the RPCA can be designed to achieve effective power distribution and dynamic voltage regulation

Number of vehicles on our roads is increasing day by day, also the technology has developed but the safety factor is always needed to be considered. Now a day’s vehicles come fitted with lots of safety features. One of the essential safety feature that need to be installed is automatic upper-dipper control of headlight, this feature can mainly use during night time driving. This feature can be installed in three axis trolley which are mainly used for industrial purpose

Analysis of Inventory Level Optimization Using Artificial Intelligence Approach

    No full text
Inventories are raw materials, work-in-process goods and completely finished goods that are considered to be the portion of business’s assets that are ready or will be ready for sale.  Formulating a suitable inventory model is one of the major concerns for an industry.  The earliest scientific inventory management researches date back to the second decade of the past century, but the interest in this scientific area is still great. Again considering the reliability of any process is an important feature in the research activities. Values of some factors are very hard to define or almost unreal. In such cases, AI models of inventory management take an important place

“Formulation of Modified Bituminous Macadam with Different Grades of Plastic Waste: A Review”

Road construction is associated with high investments. An exact design configuration can save a lot of speculation to get reliable road performance without taking advantage of it. Two elements are important in the structure of the adaptable road, the road structure and the contour. The accessibility of plastic waste is huge today. The use of recycled waste, Plastics, such as packaging for transporters, containers, etc., are growing. About half of 60% of the plastic aggregate is used for pressing. Once used, plastics are discarded and left as waste. Plastic contaminants are solid and not biodegradable. In this study we are review the past researches and techniques developed by the researchers in utilization of waste product especially plastic waste in bitumen
