Karakteristik Briket Pemanfaatan Limbah Kulit Pisang Kepok Perekat Tepung Tapioka
Get PDFKota Balikpapan memiliki hasil limbah.produksi pangan, salah satunya yaitu limbah berbahan dasar pisang. Dimana limbah ini masih belum dimanfaatkan dengan baik dan benar. Limbah kulit pisang yang dihasilkan salah satunya yaitu kulit pisang kepok. Kulit pisang tergolong sebagai limbah biomassa, dimana biomassa memiliki kandungan yang dapat dikonversi menjadi sebuah bahan bakar alternatif. Biomassa merupakan bahan dasar bahan bakar terbarukan yaitu dimanfaatkan menjadi sebuah briket. Pembuatan briket dilakukan dengan cara sederhana yaitu dengan cara melakukan penjemuran limbah kulit pisang kepok yang telah dipilih kualitasnya dibawah sinar matahari hingga kering, kemudian dilakukan proses pembuatan arang kulit pisang dan dilakukan penghalusan arang kulit pisang kepok. Setelah proses penghalusan dilakukan penyaringan dengan menggunakan mesh 80 variasi perekat tepung tapioka 5%, 10%, dan 15%. Dimana hasil penelitian ini briket dengan nilai kalor terbaik mendekati nilai standar yaitu bernilai 4346,04 kal/g, nilai kadar air yang terendah yaitu 4,88 %, dan nilai kadar abu terendah yaitu 16,73%. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembuatan briket dengan bahan baku kulit pisang kepok dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan bakar alternatif terbarukan namun perlu dilakukan penningkatan kualitas dari briket tersebu

Pencatatan kehadiransecara umum dilakukan dengan mengisi daftar dalam bentuk kertas formulir, hal inimemiliki kekurangan pada pendokumentasiannya karena ada risiko hilang atau rusak. Dalam penelitian ini dibuat sebuah sistem pencatatan kehadiran dalam proses belajarmengajar dengan menggunakan RFID dan pengenalan wajah menggunakan kamera WebC170 HD berbasis Raspberry Pi yang disatukan kedalam sistem untuk membuka danmenutup pintu akses masuk ruang kuliah. Uji coba sistem ini dilakukan di pintu ruangLaboratorium Digital Politeknik Negeri Semarang untuk 25 mahasiswa dan 3 staf akademiksebagai model yang datanya telah tersimpan di dalam sistem. Tujuannya untuk memonitor data kehadiran melalui penyimpanan data secara elektronik pada pangkalan data awan.Prinsip kerja sistem ini pintu hanya dapat dibuka oleh staf akademik sebelum kelas dimulaisedang mahasiswa dapat mengakses sesudahnya. Ketika pintu dibuka maka secaraotomatis data akan terekam oleh sistem selanjutnya sistem akan membaca RFID ataumengenali wajah yang tertangkap kamera web untuk setiap orang yang akan memasukiruangan. Setiap akses yang dilakukan maka layar 3.5” pada panel akan menampilkan databerupa identitas RFID dan wajah. Hasil pengujian alat ini menunjukkan sistem telahbekerja dengan baik.Kata Kunci:

Get PDFData from the Education Office for the Central Java Region, it is recorded that there will be 18 SMKs majoring in Accounting in Tegal Regency in 2022, consisting of 3 Public Vocational Schools and 15 private Vocational Schools. Until the 2019/2020 academic year, all SMK students, both public and private, have taken the Accounting Technician competency test several times for the Competency Unit for Compiling Computerized Financial Reports. Acquisition of competency test scores obtained showed unsatisfactory results. It is necessary to improve the quality of education quality so that the quality of graduates becomes better and is quickly absorbed by the industry in accordance with predetermined expectations, by increasing competency exam results. There are several obstacles in the quality of the competency test, including vocational teachers in Tegal Regency who are members of the Accounting MGMP (Subject Teacher Deliberation), lack of provision of competency test material for the Unit of Compiling Computerized Financial Reports for Manufacturing Companies using the MYOB Application. The purpose of the community service activity is to conduct training in compiling computerized financial reports for manufacturing companies using the MYOB Application for teachers who are members of the Tegal Regency Accounting MGMP. Technological advances have resulted a shift of its interpretation, so that the applications of the scope of literacy are becoming wider and more complex, therefore this affects the literacy competence. The aim of this study is to examine the literacy competencies which cover three aspects of abilities, namely language aspects, social aspects, and cognitive aspects of of the students majoring in Accounting of Semarang State Polytechnic in making business presentations in English language. The data used in this research is recorded from the sample of students in doing the presentation. The samples of this research are 60 students from the Accounting Department who are taken from the all 6 Study Programs in Accounting Department, therefore, there are 10 students of each Study Program. Hopefully, that the results of this study can contribute to the development of literacy theory, applied language theory, as well as the theory of learning language and literacy in general. Moreover, it will increase the scores of the students in making business presentations in English. Influence of Environmental Knowledge and Fashion Consciousness on Green Purchase Intention of Sustainable Fashion Products
Get PDFThe growing awareness of claims about the negative impacts on the environment causes to lead fast fashion brands to shift their production from fast to sustainable collections. In line with the previous transformation, customers intend to purchase sustainable fashion products by considering their fashion consciousness and environmental knowledge. This study has two goals: (1) analyzing the influence of environmental knowledge on green purchase intention of sustainable fashion products. (2) analyzing the influence of fashion consciousness on green purchase intention of sustainable fashion products. Purposive sampling was used to select 100 respondents who bought fashion brands H&M and ZARA. This study used multiple regression analysis. This study proved that environmental knowledge and fashion consciousness positively influences green purchase intention of sustainable fashion products. The higher the environmental knowledge, the higher the extent of green purchase intention of sustainable fashion. Sustainable fashion industries should maintain product designs, attractive attributes, and variations of styles of sustainable apparel collections. They should emphasize the benefit of purchasing sustainable fashion products to save the environment through intense campaigns

Get PDFThis study aims to analyze financial performance based on the company's internal business processes using the balanced scorecard method in various sector companies with the highest capitalization on the Indonesia Stock Exchange which experienced a decline in profits in 2020-2021. This research design is a descriptive applied quantitative research with ASII, BBCA, and TLKM samples. The analytical method used is the Balanced Scorecard Method with four perspectives. The results of the analysis show that ASII 2020 results in a final total score of 50% in the BBB category and unhealthy conditions, ASII 2021 at 57% in the BBB category and unhealthy conditions, BBCA 2020 at 62% in the BBB category and unhealthy conditions, BBCA 2021 by 74% with category A and very healthy condition, TLKM 2020 by 58% with category BBB and unhealthy conditions, and TLKM 2021 by 71% with category A and very healthy condition
Investigation of Double Screw Compressor Characteristic based on Experimental in Industry
Get PDFLarge-scale compressed air equipment is the only way to meet the demand for air for production facilities such as the pharmaceutical, automotive, or combustion processes industries. As one of the main driving components in the air compressor system, the double screw determines the reliability and performance of the entire compressed air system. Double screw compressors are a promising option for use in large-scale compressed air systems due to their high efficiency and reliability. The double screw profile has been specially designed to increase compression capability over a period of more than 24 hours with a range of 400 to 385 m3 per hour. The cooling oil works well keeping the compressor temperature constant at around 100 0C, even though there are very active temperature fluctuations. On the working pressure side the compressor as a whole is constant, although there is a significant spike in the dryer pressure. The dryer pressure experienced a significant increase reaching 6.9 Bar in the sixth data collection, while the cooling oil pressure and tank pressure were the same at 6.6 Bar, and the air pressure was 6.3 Bar. The results of observing the performance of compressors during industrial operation have presented the ideal working conditions for double screw compressors reaching 58.4 kJ/kg, while the actual working conditions of compressors are 66.6 kJ/kg. Overall, the average compressor efficiency is 87.81%
