    Pendekatan Quality Function Deployment dengan House of Quality untuk Menganalisis Mutu Produk: Studi Kasus Radiator Cover Merek ARM

    Persaingan di industri otomotif menuntut peningkatan kualitas produk untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pelanggan.Penelitian ini menganalisis kualitas radiator cover merek ARM dengan pendekatan Quality Function Deployment(QFD) dan House of Quality (HoQ). Data diperoleh melalui survei terhadap 30 konsumen yang telah menggunakanproduk selama lebih dari enam bulan, serta wawancara dengan produsen dari divisi research and development (R&D)dan produksi. Matriks HoQ digunakan untuk menerjemahkan kebutuhan pelanggan menjadi spesifikasi teknis produk.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa desain produk (19%), material berkualitas (16%), variasi warna (16%), dankeseimbangan harga-kualitas (16%) merupakan prioritas utama dalam pengembangan produk. Dibandingkan dengankompetitor, produk ARM menunjukkan keunggulan dalam aspek desain dan kualitas material.     This community service activity aims to help the ornamental plant business at "Surya Nursery," located in Pedalangan Village, Semarang, overcome plant care constraints due to limited time and human resources. The technology applied is an Arduino UNO-based automatic plant waterer equipped with a webcam for real-time monitoring in the business environment. The watering tool consists of 5 sprinklers that can rotate 360 degrees for an area of 200 square meters and can operate automatically or manually depending on the needs of the partner.Through this program, the team provides training and assistance to business partners, starting from device installation, system use, and maintenance of the technology applied. This system is expected to increase time efficiency, reduce water consumption, and maintain plant quality consistently.The results of this activity show that the tool can operate well, and partners feel the benefits in the form of increased productivity and reduced daily workload. The technology applied also opens up opportunities for "Surya Nursery" to increase competitiveness in the ornamental plant market. With this program, it is hoped that similar technology can be adopted by other small and medium enterprises in the agricultural sector

    This research aims to explain the influence of organizational culture, workload, and procedural justice on organizational commitment. This research was conducted on employees of the Yogyakarta Special Region Education, Youth and Sports Department. This research is quantitative research with primary data, taken using a non-probability sampling questionnaire by census of 50 respondents. Data was collected via Google form, then processed using multiple linear regression analysis. The research results show that organizational culture and procedural justice have a significant effect on organizational commitment. Meanwhile, workload has no influence on organizational commitment. It is hoped that the results of this research can be a reference for future researchers who will research at the Yogyakarta Special Region Youth and Sports Education Service

    Pelaksanaan Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja (K3) di SMPN 1 Muara Gembong Bekasi dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan slogan dan pemasangan informasi tentang K3. SMPN 1 Muara Gembong Bekasi melaksanakan K3 dengan tujuan untuk menghindar dari dan menanggani resiko kecelakaan dan ancaman kesehatan siswa saat padatnya aktifitas di sekolah. Pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilakukan melalui tahap pendahuluan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap evaluasi. Pengumpulan data mengenai keadaan terkini SMPN1 Muara Bekasi tentang implementasi K3, dilakukan pada tahap pendahuluan. Selanjutnya, metoda diskusi, informasi, demontrasi, pendampingan, dan latihan merupakan metoda pada tahap pelaksanaan. Sementara, tahap terakhir pada program pengabdian masyarakat adalah tahap evaluasi. Penilaian efektivitas implementasi K3 di SMP Muara Gembong dilakukan pada tahap evaluasi. Hasil tahap evaluasi memperlihatkan bahwa target dan jadwal K3 telah terpenuhi. Hal yang sama juga diperoleh tentang penyediaan Alat Pemadam Api Ringan (APAR), penyebab dan besar kerugian akibat kecelakaan kerja dan keadaan darurat.     RANCANG BANGUN SISTEM KENDALI KUALITAS AIR HIDROPONIK BERBASIS PLC

    Sistem tanam hidroponik adalah sistem tanam menggunakan media air. Hasil kualitas panen tanaman hidroponik sangat dipengaruhi oleh kualitas airnya. Kualitas air ini perlu dijaga untuk mengoptimalkan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan tanaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sistem kendali otomatis untuk mengatur kandungan nutrisi, pH, dan suhu air pada media tanam hidroponik. Metode penelitian ini adalah eksperimen, yaitu merancang sistem kendali otomatis pada media tanam hidroponik dan menguji keandalan sistemnya. Sistem kendali yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Arduino dan PLC Modicon TM221CE16T. Sistem kendali tersebut akan membaca kandungan nutrisi, pH, dan suhu air dari sensor TDS, sensor SEN0161, sensor DS18B20. Ketiga sensor tersebut diuji akurasinya melalui pengamatan dan perbandingan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bahwa sensor pH mampu beroperasi secara optimal dengan rentang selisih pengukuran sebesar 5,71%, sensor TDS memiliki rentang selisih pengukuran sebesar 9,1%, dan sensor DS18B20 memiliki rentang selisih pengukuran sebesar 1,88%. Sistem pendingin mampu mencapai set point suhu pada rata-rata waktu 40 menit di hari pertama, dan 53 menit di hari kedua. Sistem ini cukup andal untuk dimanfaatkan sebagai sistem otomatis untuk media tanam hidroponik

    PERBAIKAN NILAI KADAR AIR DAN INDEKS PLASTISITAS TANAH LEMPUNG LUNAK MENGGUNAKAN BAHAN TAMBAH EXPANDED POLYSTYRENE (EPS) DAN RESIDIUM CRACKING CATALYST 15 (RCC 15)

    The uneven distribution of development in each region can result in construction on land with poor characteristics. One of the soils that has weak characteristics is soft clay. Soft clay has weak characteristics, such as relatively high water content and plasticity index (PI), so it needs to be stabilized to improve its bearing capacity before being used in construction. This study aims to examine the effect of adding Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) which is a fabricated material with Residium Cracking Catalyst 15 (RCC15) which is a waste product of oil processing from PT. Pertamina on improving the characteristics of soft clay. The specimens from Cililin, Bandung Regency, has a soft inorganic clay (CH) with a clay content of 61% and a water content of 37.945%. Test specimens were made with variations in the addition of EPS of 0.4% and RCC15 of 20%, 25%, and 30%. The results of the property index test showed that the addition of RCC15 can increase the water content and plasticity index (PI) value, with the optimum value at a mixture of 0.4% EPS and 25% RCC15. The impact of using EPS and RCC15 as additives has the potential to increase the stability of soft clay, making it suitable for use in construction

    PENGARUH BUDAYA KERJA TERHADAP PERSEPSI KESELAMATAN PADA PEKERJA KONSTRUKSI DI INDUSTRI MINYAK DAN GAS

    Occupational safety is a crucial aspect in the oil and gas industry, especially in the high-risk field construction sector. This study aims to analyze the influence of work culture on the perception of safety in field construction workers, especially in the work area of Riau province. The method used was a qualitative and quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to 108 workers in oil and gas construction projects. The data were analyzed using linear regression to measure the relationship between work culture and safety perception. The results of the study showed that work culture has a positive and significant influence on safety perception, where work culture contributes to safety perception by 45.9%. These findings indicate that a strong work culture can improve the perception of safety, thereby reducing the risk of accidents. Therefore, companies in the oil and gas industry are advised to consistently foster a work culture that supports safety to minimize the risk of work accident

    Thermoelectric Conversion of Motorcycle Exhaust Heat into Alternative Electrical Energy: A Mini Review

    Heat energy can be harnessed as an alternative source for electricity generation, including waste heat from motorcycle exhaust. Thermoelectric technology enables the direct conversion of this waste heat into electrical energy. This mini-review examines the utilization of motorcycle exhaust heat through thermoelectric systems. The findings indicate that exhaust temperatures can activate thermoelectric modules to produce electrical power, which can be used for applications such as motorcycle-mounted cell phone chargers. The generated electricity can also be stored in batteries to power lighting systems. Given Indonesia's high number of motorcycles, this technology shows strong potential for small-scale renewable energy generation, supporting advancements in sustainable energy solutions

    Study of Hybrid Wind and Solar Energy Power Plants: An Analysis of the Battery Charging and Discharging System

    Alternative energy can address the issue of PLN electricity supply, which is not available in all regions of Indonesia. The hybrid system of solar cells and wind turbines is a clean and environmentally friendly energy source because it does not produce carbon dioxide (CO₂) or other gases that play a role in global warming. The purpose of this final project is to analyze the length of time needed by a hybrid generator to charge and discharge the battery using load variations. This test was conducted in the Energy Conversion Laboratory using a unit of hybrid system equipment produced by KTENG (Korea Technology). The method employed involves charging the battery with energy generated from the hybrid system and discharging it using variations in lamp load. The results of this study indicate that the time needed to charge the battery is 21.28 hours in slightly cloudy weather with a total current of 4.7 amperes, and the battery discharge reaches 200 hours using a 10-watt load.
