    Analysis of the Impact of Load Change on the Efficiency of the Heat Exchanger on Closed-circuit Cooling Water with a Capacity of 300 MW

    Electricity has become one of the most crucial components of life. The steam power plant (PLTU) is the most significant contributor to the power supply process in Indonesia, with an installed capacity of 29.57%. A review of each component is required to support the sustainability of the production process at PLTU. This research discusses the heat exchanger's components in the refrigeration system at PT. XYZ. The cooling system in PLTU plays a vital role in preventing overheating of the power plant components, which can cause an interruption of the energy generation process. Following this, research was carried out on the influence of load changes on the efficiency of heat exchangers in PT. XYZ cooling systems using observation methods, interviews, and literature studies. Such methods produced data that could be used to calculate the efficiency value. From the results of the investigation, it was concluded that the performance of the PT. XYZ heat exchanger was at its best at maximum load with an efficiency presentation of 68.29% and at its lowest at minimum load with an effectiveness presentation of 59.95%. However, the value was still below the standard value of efficiency of the heat exchangers, which is 75%, so it required more intensive treatment to improve its efficiency value

    Influence of Service Quality and Price on Purchasing Decisions at PT Berkah Samudra Logistik Semarang

    This research aims to identifying the effect of service quality and price on purchasing decisions at PT Berkah Samudra Logistik Semarang. Purposive sampling was implemented as a sampling technique for 55 respondents. The independent variables used in this study are Service Quality and Price. Meanwhile, the dependent variable used in this study is the Purchase Decision. Primary data collection using interviews and questionnaires, as well as literature studies for secondary data.”Validity test, reliability test, descriptive analysis, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression, t test, F test and coefficient of determination were chosen as the analytical method used in this study." Based on calculations that have been carried out using SPSS version 25, the results of the study shows that the result of the regression equation is Y=2.508+0.308Xâ‚+0.624Xâ‚‚+e. In addition, the results of the t test show that the results of the t test exceed the t table and produce a "significance value of less than 0.05. Likewise the results of the F test stated that the results of the F test were 20.570, while the F table was 3.18. So it can be concluded that service quality (X1) and price (X2) have a positive and strong influence on purchasing decisions (Y). The influence of the variable that has the highest influence on purchasing decisions is the price with the highest regression coefficient of 0.62

    This study emphasizes government reaction on budgeting during a crisis which is valuable for improving government”™s agility to deal with the same or unprecedented crisis in the future. This study aims to analyze budget adjustment as responses to COVID-19 pandemic at Makassar Local Government. This study used a qualitative approach. The data gathered from budget documents and other related documents as well as in-depth interviews. The results showed that the budget adjustments process was carried out through the implementation of regulations issued by the central government. However, its implementation has not been fully successful because there are still some provisions that have not been complied. (4) Conclusion and Suggestion. There are still weaknesses in the budget adjustment process and negative impacts from budget adjustment on the overall budget system. Future research is expected to explore deeper and in a broader context related to the constraints of the existing budget adjustment system, Unexpected Expenditure, and anticipatory budgeting by involving stakeholders other than budget makers

    Desa Grabag di Kabupaten Magelang merupakan salah satu sentra peternakan kambing yang berada di Kab Magelang. Selain menghasilkan daging, susu, kulit, dan bulu, kambing juga juga menghasilkan limbah berupa kotoran kambing. Limbah kotoran kambing berdampak pada pencemaran lingkungan, salah satunya menyebabkan bau tidak sedap. Hal ini di akibatkan dari keterbatasan lahan sebagai tempat kotoran kambing, sehingga menyebabkan penumpukan pada satu tepat. Salah satu peternak kambing “Berkah Abadi” masih belum melakukan pengolahan limbah kotoran kambing menjadi pupuk organik diakibatkan karena keterbatasan teknologi dan juga pengetahuan. Permasalahan ini dapat diselesaikan dengan penerapan Teknologi Tepat Guna (TTG) yaitu   Alat Pengolah Pupuk Organik   (APPO) sebagai solusi dari pengolahan limbah kotoran kambing. Tujuan dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah memberikan solusi kepada peternak kambing dalam mengolah limbah kotoran kambing menjadi pupuk organik yang memiliki nilai jual. Metode yang dilakukan adalah dengan melakukan metode gabungan yaitu transfer teknologi dan penyuluhan terhadap peternak kambing. Hasil dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berupa terealisasinya penggunaan mesin alat pengolah pupuk organik   (APPO) guna mengolah limbah kotoran kambing yang awalnya menumpuk dan memiliki nilai jual rendah menjadi memiliki nilai jual tinggi

    Pemodelan alat ukur debit ambang lebar ini diharapkan dapat memudahkan dalam pemahaman khususnya perilaku aliran yang mengalir melalui alat ukur debit ambang lebar. Mulai dari perilaku hidrolis, ketelitian pengukuran, dan pembuatan lengkung debitnya. Dari hasil penelitian ini didapatkan hubungan debit dengan tinggi muka air di hulu, tinggi muka air di hilir, muka air di atas ambang, dan kehilangan energi untuk pelimpah ambang lebar. Untuk pelimpah adalah pembuatan model alat ukur debit ambang lebar ini adalah dengan mengasumsikan bahwa bilangan Froude yang terjadi pada model sama dengan bilangan Froude yang terjadi pada kondisi di lapangan. Sehingga dengan demikian skala debit, waktu, kecepatan dan volume akan dapat mewakili kondisi sesungguhnya di lapangan dengan skala panjang lebar dan tinggi1 : 100. Hasil yang diharapkan dari rancang bangun ini adalah berupa model uji alat ukur debit ambang lebar sebagai prototype yang perilaku hidrolisnya dapat diamati mahasiswa dengan pemahaman yang lebih mudah seperti kejadian sesungguhnya di lapangan. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah melakukan pengujian di laboratorium hidrolika dengan memvariasikan debit mulai dari Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4, ”¦. Qn, untuk mendapatkan variasi tinggi muka air di hulu dan di hilir pelimpah ambang lebar menghasilkan kehilangan energi yang relatif kecil dengan trend Y= -1140,4x2 + 0,6383x + 0,0077untuk pelimpah ambang lebar kemiringan hilir 1:1 dengan Y adalah kehilangan energi dalam meter dan X adalah debit dalam m3/deti

    The chocolate 3D printer is one such development, designed to assist humans in creating objects using chocolate as the base material. Chocolate 3D printers can produce a wide range of creative objects according to user preferences. This research project began with the design of the extruder components to be used in the chocolate extrusion process of the 3D printer. The components utilized in this design include the barrel and nozzle, Nema 17 stepper motor, 150 W 24 V silicon heater, single screw, hopper, and bracket. The design process was tailored to meet the specific requirements and objectives of this research. Experimentation will be conducted on the extruder by introducing variations in its printing speed. The research results indicate that the extruder can perform the extrusion process effectively using the mentioned components. At a temperature of 40 degrees Celsius and a print speed of 100 mm/s, the chocolate melt consistently flows out

    Klangon - Tempel Road is one of the provincial roads in Sleman Regency,Yogyakarta. The majority of vehicles that pass through this road are heavy vehiclesfrom Semarang to Yogyakarta, including the Jogja - Bawen toll road constructionproject vehicles. The high traffic load is not matched by good road quality, causingdamage to the pavement structure. This study aims to determine the condition of thepavement and provide alternative pavement designs that can withstand traffic loadswell. Evaluation of flexible pavement was carried out using data from the DIYPublic Works Office of Housing and Energy Mineral Resources (PUPSDM DIY).The method used in this research is mechanistic-empirical method of KENPAVEprogram with elastic and viscoelastic modeling. For alternative pavement designusing Bina Marga 2017 method. The results showed that the existing pavement wasnot able to withstand the traffic load during the 10-year plan life, so an alternativedesign was needed. Two alternative pavement thickness designs based on the BinaMarga 2017 method are asphalt pavement with graded foundation layer and CTB.On the existing pavement, elastic modeling has a longer service life thanviscoelastic modeling. The first damage that occurs is permanent deformation,followed by rutting and fatigue cracking. Meanwhile, the alternative pavementproved to be able to withstand the traffic load during the plan life well. Analysis onalternative pavement shows that elastic modeling has better pavement performancethan viscoelastic modeling, with longer service life in resisting damage

    Performance and Gas Emissions Analysis on Four Stroke Diesel Engine with Multi-Feedstock Biodiesel

    Biodiesel is one of the alternative fuels used in diesel engines. As the effectiveness of various biodiesel base materials varies, further studies on the effectiveness of biodiesel are needed. This study aims to evaluate the use of biodiesel from various sources as an alternative fuel. The methods in making multi-feedstock biodiesel are esterification and transesterification with palm oil, used cooking oil, and sunflower oil as raw materials. In this research, exhaust gas analysis and performance test on four stroke diesel engine were conducted. The mixture of biodiesel was then mixed with Pertamina Dex as High Speed Diesel (HSD) to produce B20, B35, and B100. The exhaust emission analysis focused on the concentration of (NOx) and (CO) gases at each rotation and load. The test result shows that B100 (100% multi-feedstock biodiesel) is the most optimal and environmentally friendly fuel with the same conditions of maximum load of 4000 watts and maximum rotation of 1400 rpm, NOx levels of 1396 mg/m3 and CO 474 ppm and has high power in all variations. On the other hand, HSD has the lowest gsfc in all variations
