MAKNA TEOLOGIS MENGUMPULKAN HARTA DI SURGA BERDASARKAN MATIUS 6:20
Full text linkPada zaman sekarang ini, masih banyak orang yang hanya berfokus pada harta dunia dan mengabaikan harta di surga. Hal ini terjadi oleh karena kurangnya pemahaman terkait makna teologis dari “mengumpulkan harta di surga” sebagaimana perintah Tuhan Yesus di Injil Matius 6:20. Oleh sebab itu yang menjadi fokus perhatian pada penelitian ini adalah untuk mencari makna teologis dari frasa “mengumpulkan harta di surga” berdasarkan Matius 6:20. Setelah melakukan penyelidikan berdasarkan metode penelitian kualitatif yang mempertimbangkan berbagai literatur berhubungan dengan topik penelitian, berkesimpulan bahwa harta di surga adalah hidup kekal yang didapat di dalam kebenaran Kristus. Jadi mengumpulkan harta di surga adalah beriman kepada Yesus agar memperoleh hidup kekal serta mengutamakan kerajaan Allah serta kebenaran-Nya dan taat kepada Firman Tuhan. Berharap dengan penjelasan ini, umat Allah memiliki pengertian yang benar dengan “mengumpulkan harta di surga” serta mengaplikasikannya dalam kehidupan praktis.If people do not carefully read Matthew 6:20, the essay about Jesus' expression in the phrase "gathering up treasures in heaven," many will assume that what is meant is accumulating the world's wealth in the form of material such as food, clothing, gold, silver and various other things related to material things. PENINGKATAN PEMAHAMAN JEMAAT KAUM BAPAK GKSI GLORIA BANING TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN KEROHANIAN ANGGOTA KELUARGA
No full textBaning is a village located in Sekucing Labai Village, Simpang Hulu district, Ketapang district, west Kalimantan province. In this village stands the Gloria Baning Indonesian Faithful Christian Church. Based on observations made, some members of the GKSI Gloria Baning congregation understand that the duties and responsibilities of a husband are only to meet financial needs, some say that the spiritual needs of family members do not include the duties of the head of the household (each individual’s business), and some say that the duty and responsibility of preaching the gospel are only done by God’s servants (priests). This is what prompted this service activity to be carried out for the GKSI Gloria Baning congregation as an effort to increase the spirituality of those who were there. The method used by the author in writing this article is interviews and literature to support valid and comprehensive data. The results obtained after the activity was carried out showed a change in terms of; increasing knowledge and understanding and spirituality of the fathers about the duties and responsibility of the head of the family in the household and giving themselves part in the service on the Sunday service.Baning merupakan salah satu kampung yang berada di desa Sekucing Labai, Kecamatan Simpang Hulu, Kabupaten Ketapang, Provinsi Kalimantan Barat. Di kampung ini berdiri Gereja Kristen Setia Indonesia Gloria Baning. Berdasarkan hasil observasi yang dilakukan, terdapat sebagian jemaat kaum bapak GKSI Gloria Baning yang memiliki pemahaman bahwa tugas dan tanggung jawab seorang suami itu hanya sekedar memenuhi kebutuhan finansial, sebagian lagi mengatakan kebutuhan rohani anggota keluarga tidak termasuk tugas kepala rumah tangga (urusan masing-masing individu), dan sebagian lagi mengatakan bahwa tugas dan tanggung jawab memberitakan Injil hanya dilakukan oleh hamba Tuhan (para pendeta). Hal inilah yang mendorong dilakukannya kegiatan pengabdian ini terhadap jemaat kaum bapak GKSI Gloria Baning sebagai upaya meningkatkan pemahaman mereka yang ada di sana

Rural sustainability is threatened with stagnation because many students from rural areas study in cities with less focus on rebuilding villages. Rural sustainability that receives village funds also faces problems because there are still unscrupulous village officials who corrupt village funds. Through the Implementation of Community Service held by Stube-HEMAT and STTAB students with the seminar method from the Multiplicator and Stube-HEMAT facilitator. The PkM activity resulted in breakthrough thoughts and important insights for theology students to play a role in the sustainability of village development, in various ways, both contributing to ideas and practically becoming village leaders with morals and integrity.Rural Sustainability adalah sebuah topik yang penting pada masa kini. Pembangunan desa terancam mandek karena banyak mahasiswa yang dari desa kuliah di kota kurang fokus untuk kembali membangun desa. Pembanguna desa yang mendapat dana desa juga menghadapi masalah karena masih ada oknum pejabat desa yang melakukan korupsi dana desa. Full text linkFellowship (Greek: koinonia), as one of the church's vocations, should be able to bridge differences and change social life. However, the reality is the opposite. Christian fellowship sometimes becomes closed to people with certain social status differences. This paper aims to show that fellowship among believers can break down barriers and change lives. Through qualitative research that uses social and textual criticism methods on the Epistle of Philemon with the help of some related literature, an understanding is shown that an enslaved person who is guilty repents. Returns to his master are still counted in the Christian community and involved in the ministry. In the end, this paper concludes that a healthy Christian fellowship can transform lives. Within the Christian community, there is acceptance of one another and giving space for all people with different social statuses to actualize themselves in the life of the church, including in the community's social life.Persekutuan (Yun.: koinonia) sebagai salah satu tugas panggilan gereja seharusnya dapat menjembatani perbedaan dan mengubahkan kehidupan sosial. Namun, kenyataan yang terjadi justru sebaliknya. Persekutuan Kristen terkadang menjadi tertutup bagi orang yang memiliki perbedaan status sosial tertentu. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menunjukkan bahwa persekutuan di antara orang percaya mampu meruntuhkan sekat-sekat penghalang dan mengubahkan kehidupan. Melalui penelitian kualitatif yang menggunakan metode kritik sosial dan tekstual atas Surat Filemon dengan dibantu beberapa literatur terkait, diperlihatkan pemahaman bahwa seorang budak yang bersalah, bertobat dan kembali kepada tuannya tetap diperhitungkan di dalam persekutuan Kristen dan dilibatkan dalam pelayanan. Pada akhirnya, tulisan ini menyimpulkan bahwa persekutuan Kristen yang sehat dapat mentransformasi kehidupan. To realize successful worship, it takes people who are capableof leading worship such as worship leaders, and singers and the presenceof adequate multimedia support such as easy worship. However, manychurches do not yet have qualified ministers for these tasks, includingGPdI Imanuel Kagungan Rahayu. This public service aims to facilitateand provide training to God's ministers in the church to improve thequality of their services. This Public service is done by the trainingmethod. The participants were very enthusiastic during the training andfollowed the activity until the end. Participants can understand thematerial provided and can practice it during practice sessions. After thepublic service is done, worship leaders, singers, and multi-mediaoperators can apply the material that has been received in churchservices with full responsibilityIbadah merupakan bagian penting dalam perjalanan iman kristen. Dalam ibadah ada pujian dan penyembahan yang sangat menentukan dalam keberhasilan sebuah ibadah. Untuk mewujudkan ibadah yang berhasil diperlukan orang-orang yang cakap dalam memimpin ibadah seperti worship leader, singer dan adanya dukungan multimedia yang memadai seperti easy worship. Namun masih banyak gereja yang belum memiliki pelayan-pelayan yang mumpuni untuk tugas-tugas itu termasuk di GPdI Imanuel Kagungan Rahayu. PkM ini bertujuan untuk memfasilitasi dan memberikan pelatihan kepada pelayan Tuhan di gereja agar dapat meningkatkan kualitas pelayanannya. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan metode pelatihan. Selama pelatihan para peserta sangat antusias dan mengikuti kegiatan sampai akhir. Para peserta dapat memahami materi yang diberikan dan dapat mempraktikkan saat sesi praktik. Setelah PkM dilakukan, para worship leader, singer dan operator multi media dapat menerapkan materi yang sudah diterima dalam ibadah-ibadah di gereja dengan penuh tanggung jawab
PENDAMPINGAN REMAJA PEREMPUAN AGAR MENGHINDARI PERNIKAHAN DINI DI JEMAAT GKSI SYALOM UNSE
Full text linkAdolescence is the right time for them to pursue education. Education is very important for teenagers because, through education, their potential can grow. However, it is very sad when teenagers who should focus on learning and pursuing their dreams instead fall into early marriage. The biggest factor in the number of early marriages in the GKSI Syalom Unse congregation is the lack of education. This is caused by parents and children who do not understand the urgency of education itself. This PKM aims to provide understanding and awareness to teenagers to avoid early marriage and provide education on the importance of education. Thus, this PKM program has implications for the need to increase the age of marriage to a more mature age, both in terms of mental, educational, and economic aspects. The method used in accommodating the discussion of early marriage is the lecture method. However, in preparing the material using a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The results of the implementation of this activity went smoothly and were well responded to by the participants. This activity helps teenagers understand the dangers of early marriage and increases their enthusiasm for studying higher knowledge.Masa remaja merupakan waktu yang tepat bagi anak dalam mengejar pendidikan. Pendidikan sangat penting bagi para remaja. Melalui pendidikan potensi mereka bertumbuh. Namun miris bila remaja yang seharusnya fokus belajar dan mengejar cita-cita, justru terjerumus ke dalam pernikahan dini. Faktor terbesar dari pernikahan dini di jemaat GKSI Syalom Unse adalah rendahnya pendidikan. Hal ini disebabkan oleh orang tua dan anak yang kurang paham tentang urgensi dari pendidikan. PKM ini bertujuan memberikan pengertian dan kesadaran kepada remaja agar menghindari pernikahan dini serta memberikan edukasi pentingnya pendidikan. Sehingga dengan demikian program PKM ini berimplikasi pada perlunya peningkatan usia pernikahan yang lebih matang, baik dalam segi mental, maupun pendidikan dan ekonomi. Metode yang dipakai dalam mengakomodir pembahasan pernikahan dini adalah metode ceramah. Namun dalam penyusunan materi menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan ini berjalan dengan lancar dan direspon dengan baik oleh peserta kegiatan. Kegiatan ini membantu para remaja memahami bahaya dari pernikahan dini serta meningkatkan semangat mereka dalam menuntut ilmu yang lebih tinggi

So, in children's ministry, especially in the Church, it is necessary to hold a briefing for Sunday School teachers, where teachers who teach Sunday School children are equipped with more practical ministry knowledge. If teachers update themselves, it will be easier for them to reach today's children. The Sunday School children in GMI Baithani Plaju are very active, so the teachers must be creative. Therefore, it is hoped that through this community service in the form of seminars with training accompanied by discussions of teachers and teams, Sunday School teachers will be equipped to optimize their creativity in service so that in Sunday School services, there are new things to show and make children enthusiastic in worshipping in Sunday School. This community service uses the method of seminars and discussions as well as practice to provide understanding to GMI Baithani Sunday School teachers to teach creatively and develop their creativity to foster the enthusiasm of Sunday School children in worship and ultimately strengthen children's faith.Perkembangan pengetahuan anak di Era Digital semakin pesat. Anak sekarang sudah mengikuti perkembangn zaman sehingga mereka tidak ketinggalan. Maka dalam pelayanan anak khusunya di Gereja perlu diadakan pembekalan terhadap guru Sekolah Minggu, dimana guru-guru yang mengajar anak Sekolah Minggu dibekali dengan ilmu pelayanan anak yang lebih efektif. Jika, guru-guru tidak mengupdate diri maka guru-guru akan sulit menjangkau anak zaman ini. Anak-anak Sekolah Minggu yang ada di Di GMI Baithani Plaju ini sangat aktif, maka guru-guru yang mengajarpun harus kreatif. Oleh karena itu diharapkan melalui pengabdian masyarakat ini dalam bentuk seminar dengan pelatihan yang disertai diskusi para guru-guru dan tim, para guru Sekolah Minggu akan diperlengkapi dalam mengoptimalkan kreativitasnya dalam pelayanan sehingga dalam pelayanan Sekolah Minggu ada hal-hal yang baru di tampilkan dan membuat anak-anak semangat dalam beribadah di Sekolah Minggu. However, the problem occurs when Generation Z misreads information, one which is information related to the doctrines of the Christian faith. This condition challenges teachers to make Z able to fill the social media space with the correct teachings. Therefore, it is necessary to formulate theological thoughts that are indeed following the development of today's social media. Through an integrative study approach between theology and social media and phenomenological studies related to the problems that arise. So this research produces a combination of theology and social media that contributes to social media content filled with true theology and theology that is open in general because social media bridge it. MENGAMPUNI (ἀπολυω) SIKAP ETIS YESUS TERHADAP PERCERAIAN: Kajian Hermeneutik Matius 19:1-9
No full textThis article proposes a theological construction of Jesus’ ethical attitude towards divorce. The conflict between the socio-political practice that legalizes divorce and the narrative of religious rhetoric against divorce is the cause of many divorces in Christian families. An understanding of the ethical morality of Christians towards divorce shows that there is an excessive adherence to the biblical text without considering the context. I use hermeneutic principles through the dialectic of the text and the context of the Gospel of Matthew 19:1-9 as the method used by Jesus to understand the reality of the Torah text. This effort aims to assist Pastors in pastoral care when accompanying families who are about to divorce. This article uses a literature research method with a text centred (synchronic) approach and a qualitative method to examine the results of field research. The results showed that the text of Matthew 19:1-9 was about to criticize the attitude of Pharisees who wanted to trap Jesus through the question of divorce. It turns out that Jesus has His own Halakhah, that is, forgiveness to avoid divorce.Artikel ini mengusulkan sebuah konstruksi teologis mengenai sikap etis Yesus terhadap perceraian. Adanya konflik yang terjadi antara praktik sosial politik yang melegalkan perceraian dengan narasi retorika agama yang menentang perceraian menjadi penyebab banyaknya perceraian dalam keluarga Kristen. Pemahaman mengenai moralitas etis orang Kristen terhadap perceraian memperlihatkan adanya ketaatan yang berlebihan pada teks Alkitab tanpa mempertimbangkan konteks dari teks. Saya menggunakan prinsip-prinsip hermeneutik melalui dialektika teks dan konteks dari Injil Matius 19:1-9, sebagai metode yang digunakan oleh Yesus untuk memahami realitas teks Taurat. Upaya ini bertujuan untuk membantu para Pendeta dalam pelayanan pastoral ketika mendampingi keluarga yang akan bercerai. Artikel ini menggunakan metode penelitian literatur dengan pendekatan kritik historis dan metode kualitatif untuk mengkaji hasil penelitian lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teks Matius 19:1-9 hendak mengkritisi sikap orang-orang Farisi yang ingin menjebak Yesus melalui pertanyaan mengenai perceraian. PEMBERDAYAAN KAUM PEREMPUAN DALAM BETERNAK AYAM DI GMIT GETSEMANI OEBATU
Full text linkThe limited supply of broiler chickens in Rote has become a business opportunity for the people. Therefore, the community service of the Missiology study program focused on the women of GMIT Getsemani Oebatu to breed the chicken and increase their income. The purpose is to empower the women in economic and spiritual aspects to help them understand their role as agents of God's mission. The action research method was applied with a focus on participatory action research in the mentoring process. It runs in four stages: diagnosing (initial survey using observation and interview), planning the action, taking action (training and mentoring), and evaluating by paying attention to the development process until harvest. The result of the mentoring showed that the women of GMIT Getsemani Oebatu were very enthusiastic about raising chickens and wanted to increase income for the family because of its relatively short period of rearing (one month).Keterbatasan ketersediaan ayam di Rote menjadi peluang bisnis untuk masyarakat. Karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat prodi Misiologi berbagi dengan kaum perempuan GMIT Getsemani Oebatu sebagai salah cara mengaplikasikan misi Allah dalam konteks keluarga. Tujuan PKM ini untuk meningkatan sumber pendapatan kaum perempuan sekaligus menolong mereka dalam memahami peran mereka sebagai agen misi Allah bagi keluarga. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan dimana proses pendampingan dalam dalam tulisan ini berfokus menggunakan penelitian tindakan partisipatori (participatory action research). Kegiatan PKM ini berjalan dalam empat tahap yaitu diagnosing (survei awal dengan teknik observasi dan wawancara, planning action, taking action (pelatihan dan pendampingan) dan evaluating action dengan memperhatikan proses perkembangan produk sampai pada masa panen. Hasil pendampingan menunjukkan bahwa kaum perempuan GMIT Getsemani Oebatu sangat antusias dalam beternak ayam dan ingin untuk menambah penghasilan bagi keluarga karena beternak ayam broiler hanya memerlukan waktu satu bulan hingga waktu panen
