Exploring the Digital Transformation of HR: Insights from a Bibliometric Analysis

    No full text
This study conducts a comprehensive bibliometric investigation into the scholarly literature on Human Resource (HR) digitalization, with the aim of outlining the most recent advances in the domain. Drawing on a dataset of 774 articles published between 2010 and 2024, it applies bibliometric techniques particularly through the VOSviewer software to trace research trajectories and pinpoint core thematic areas. The analysis enhances the overall understanding of how digital transformation is shaping HR management, while also shedding light on the challenges and opportunities it introduces for organizations. Findings indicate a consistent rise in academic output, particularly around themes such as artificial intelligence, big data, and digital HR platforms. The study further uncovers collaborative patterns among leading authors and institutions and identifies promising directions for future inquiry in this fast-developing research field. In addition to its descriptive contribution, the article advances theory by distinguishing the main conceptual streams that underpin HR digitalization research, exposing insufficiently explored topics, and suggesting an analytical framework to examine how digitalization influences HR practices and organizational performance. Collectively, these insights not only strengthen comprehension of the impact of digital transformation on HR but also provide valuable theoretical orientations to support future academic endeavors and practical decision-making. Assessing the Influence of ESG Indicators on Corporate Financial Performance: Evidence from Panel Data Analysis

    No full text
The approach combines an international literature review and an empirical panel data analysis of French (CAC 40) and American (S&P 500) companies from 2021 to 2024. Three econometric panel data models (fixed effects, fixed effects with time dimensions, and random effects) were tested using Python. Results show that ESG scores do not have an immediate significant effect on ROA. However, sectors such as technology and energy exhibit clearly higher profitability regardless of ESG scores. These findings suggest that ESG initiatives may produce long-term positive financial effects. The study also highlights limitations related to the small sample size and availability of ESG data, while underlining the importance of further research in this field. It concludes that despite the lack of a direct short-term link, ESG criteria remain a strategic lever to strengthen company resilience and competitiveness. No full text
The paper explores the transformation of port logistics operations with artificial intelligence (AI) during the port transformation into a smart port. The research integrates capabilities-based resource analysis and dynamic capabilities with sociotechnical implementations of technologies and resilience approaches of complex systems under disruptions. The system applies robust data infrastructures (AIS/IoT streams and data quality and interoperability) to propel analytical and AI modules (forecasting and optimization and anomaly detection) that become effective once integrated with sufficient governance systems and trained personnel and operational processes to transform planning and safety and sustainability operations. It applies Scopus bibliometric research to analyze 123 articles using a systematic approach with both a search protocol and a document screening and duplication verification. It incorporates annual behavior and distribution of author and country performance analysis with science mapping techniques that explore keyword relation and co-citation and bibliographic coupling and conceptual structuring tools that construct thematic maps and multiple correspondence analysis with community detection while applying explicit thresholding and robust tests. The research connects AI applications to smart port domains through specific data-to-impact pathways while providing a method for bibliometric analysis that enables future updates. The research presents a step-by-step approach for data readiness followed by predictive and optimization implementation and organizational integration. The paper supports public policy through recommendations for data sharing standards and complete environmental benefit assessments. The research proposes a future study plan which combines field-based testing with multiple port assessments to enhance both cause-effect understanding and research applicability.

    No full text
Health equity is a central concern of modern health systems and a cornerstone of social justice. In Morocco, despite reforms undertaken in recent years, significant disparities persist between territories, with medical and hospital resources concentrated in large urban areas and a marked shortage of services in rural and remote regions. To address these challenges, the Kingdom has launched a major reform, enshrined in Framework Law No. 09-21 on social protection, which places health territorialization at the heart of the system’s restructuring through the establishment of Territorial Health Groups (Groupements Sanitaires Territoriaux, GST). This article, based on a narrative review of the literature and an analysis of national and international institutional reports, examines equity and territorialization in the Moroccan context. The findings show that while the reform represents a historic opportunity to enhance regional planning, bring services closer to populations, and improve coordination, several challenges remain: shortage and unequal distribution of human resources, insufficient infrastructure, limited financing, and weak local governance capacities. The discussion highlights that the success of territorialization will depend on the interplay between political will, resource mobilization, and the involvement of local actors. Health territorialization has the potential to become a major lever for social justice and for reducing inequalities, provided that longstanding structural barriers to equity in Morocco are effectively addressed.   Keywords : Health equity, Territorialization, Regional disparities, Health system reform, Morocco. Our paper aims to highlight the impact of trust, perceived usefulness and ease of use on the use of blockchain in the medical monitoring process of patients in clinics in Morocco. In this regard, in order to further explore this topic, we opted for hypothetical-deductive reasoning and administered a questionnaire to 160 healthcare managers. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS and Smart-PLS. The correlation results confirmed the impact of perceived usefulness on the intention to use blockchain; however, ease of use and trust were not determining factors in managers propensity to use blockchain in the Moroccan healthcare sector. Furthermore, after presenting a summary of the method used, the identification of limitations presents a considerable advantage for researchers to leverage in order to further their future academic work. Over the last few decades, the adoption of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems has become a strategic issue for organisations large and small. ERP systems offer significant benefits, such as data centralisation, process optimisation, improved decision-making and better coordination between different departments. However, their implementation also entails risks, including high initial costs, technical difficulties, resistance to change on the part of employees and often long lead times to achieve a return on investment. While large companies have largely integrated ERP into their management, SMEs face specific challenges. These companies have to adapt to contingent variables such as their strategy, organisational structure, culture and competitive environment. In addition, SMEs are often characterised by strong managerial influence, relying more on intuition and judgement than on formalised management systems. This can slow down the adoption of ERP, despite its potential benefits. This study is based on deductive reasoning, which compares the theoretical framework with the hypotheses formulated. It is based on a sample of 120 SMEs operating in the Casablanca-Settat region, with between 10 and 150 employees. The aim of this article is to explore the benefits and impact of ERP on the management of Moroccan SMEs, highlighting the advantages and risks perceived by managers. The data collected were analysed using SPSS software. The results show that SME managers recognise the benefits of ERP, but are often reluctant to adopt them because of the associated risks. Nevertheless, rigorous management of these risks and adaptation of ERP to the specific needs of SMEs could make it a powerful lever for improving their performance and competitiveness. The aim of this article is to provide relevant information for decision-makers and to open up perspectives for future research on the subject. Classification JEL : M13-M15. Paper type: Empirical Research.

    No full text
The objective of the study is to determine the extent to which job security affects employee performance in microfinance institutions (MFIs) in Cameroon. The research is based on the philosophical underpinnings of positivism. The study adopted a hypothetico-deductive approach from which data was collected using a questionnaire from 462 respondents in the MFIs in Cameroon. Descriptive analysis was used to characterize the sample while principal component analysis was used to reduce the dimension of factors. Therefore, regression and correlation analysis were used to explore the influence and relationship between variables. The principal result shows that job security exerts a positive and significant effect on the employee performance in MFIs in Cameroon. The study thereby recommends that MFIs should ensure the existence of valid labor contracts duely signed by both parties and also a diligent respect of the terms of the labor contract by the institution.
