Peran Penyuluh Pertanian Lapang (PPL) dalam Pemberdayaan Petani di Kelompok Tani Sri Widodo Desa Lubang Lor Kecamatan Butuh Kabupaten Purworejo
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran penyuluh pertanian lapang dalam pemberdayaan petani di Kelompok Tani Sri Widodo Desa Lubang Lor , Kecamatan Butuh, Kabupaten Purworejo. Desain penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode kualitatif dan data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 40 orang petani. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peran penyuluh pertanian lapang yang meliputi peran sebagai pembimbing petani memiliki kategori sangat berperan (87,5%), peran sebagai organisator dan dinamisator memiliki kategori sangat berperan (87,5%), peran sebagai teknisi lapangan memiliki kategori sangat berperan (100%), dan peran sebagai penghubung dengan peneliti memiliki kategori tidak berperan (72,5%). Peran penyuluh pertanian lapang sebagai pembimbing petani, organisator dan dinamisator, dan teknisi lapangan memiliki kategori sangat berperan berarti kegiatan penyuluh sangat dibutuhkan keberadaannya oleh petani dan dapat mengubah kebiasaanpetani dalam melakukan usahataninya kearah yang lebih baik dan maju. Adapun peran penyuluh pertanian lapang sebagai penghubung dengan peneliti memiliki kategori tidak berperan berarti kegiatan penyuluhan yang diberikan tidak memiliki dampak atau hasil terhadap pemberdayaan petani di Kelompok Tani Sri Widodo.Hal tersebut disebabkan karena penyuluh pertanian lapang tidak bekerja sama langsung dengan lembaga penelitian sehingga dalam penyampaian informasi mengenai teknologi-teknologi baru kurang maksimal
Respon Produksi Rumput Gajah (Pennisetum Purpureum), Benggala (Panicum Maximum) dan Setaria (Setaria Spacelata) terhadap Perbedaan Salinitas
Forage is a ruminant animal basal feed, where sufficient and continuous availability and good quality must be a priority. Place to growth or location, also determine the existence and production of forage including grass species in this study. This study aims to determine how much the production of elephant grass, panicum and cetaria on salinity differences. The study was conducted for 4 months, in Kompleks Perumahan dosen UNIPA Amban in Manokwari West Papua. The study was designed with a split plot design in to Completely Randomize design (CRD) 4x3 with 4 replications. As the main plot is grass species and the subplot is salinity based on growing media. Factor I is grass species (Sp) consisting of: Pennisetum purpureum (Sp1), Panicum maximum (Sp2) and Setaria spacelata (Sp3) and then Factor II is growing media (M) consisting of: soil 100% (M0), soil 70% + 30% of sand (M1), soil 50% + 50% of sand (M2) and soil 30% + 70% of sand (M3). Statistical analysis shows that the effect of salinity is significant (P<0.05) on plant growth variable, namely fresh matter production, dry matter production and stem leaf ratio. Planting media M1 (soil 70% + sand 30%) perform the best result, and species that is responsive to salinity is Panicum maximum (Sp2)
Pembelajaran Online yang Efektif di Masa Pandemi Covid-19 Studi Kasus di SMP Negeri 4 Pakem Sleman
Schools as places of interaction between teachers and students must limit interactions due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The government issued an instruction to oblige the implementation of learning from each home. SMP Negeri 4 Pakem implements online learning as an effective learning effort in the era of the Covid-19 outbreak. This article was prepared based on the implementation of online learning at SMP Negeri 4 Pakem. This article is a documentation of the process of designing, implementing, and evaluating the implementation of teaching-learning. Data is collected from the entire process of implementing online learning so that its effectiveness can be seen to replace the regular learning process. The implementation of online learning conducted at SMP Negeri 4 Pakem in the era of the Covid-19 outbreak was running effectively. The learning planning process is carried out by compiling a learning schedule that is different from regular learning. Online learning is carried out using many online platforms. The distribution of information on the learning process to students is done through the WhatsApp group. Learning is carried out through Google Classroom, for learning management and for face to face using video conferencing. The online evaluation and test processes are carried out using Google Form. The online learning evaluation process involves students and parents. From the results of the evaluation carried out, online learning does not burden students because its implementation is directly monitored by the school principal, and by using very clear signs
Digitalisasi Sekolah Melalui Pengembangan Website dan Layanan Sekolah Berbasis Teknologi Informasi
Schools as a place to forge students to become people who are ready to welcome the 21st century. 21st Century projection factors indicate the ability of literacy, one of which is technology literacy. Schools are required to familiarize students with the application of information technology. The method that can be applied is by digitizing the School. SMPN 4 Pakem has begun digitizing education with various steps and efforts. So it is necessary to study the digitization process and its impact on increasing existing resources. The method used in this paper is through several stages. The initial stage is observation, which aims to see the activeness of the parts that have been digitalized. SMPN 4 Pakem implements education digitization through several sections, namely website, library, and evaluation and assessment system. The SMPN 4 Pakem website has become a medium of communication and information sources both internal and external. SMPN 4 Pakem Library implements library automation to improve services to users with the help of information technology-based applications
Remediasi Miskonsepsi Hukum Newton melalui HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills)
This research tries to give an example for teaching HOTS in accordance with the goverment’s demands on the 2013 curriculum in remediating misconceptions “canoot distinguish between Newton’s First Law and Newton’s Third Laws”. The purpose of this research is to know students’ understanding after learning about misconception remediation. This research used classroom action research methods which will be analyzed qualitatively. Assessment instruments used lesson plans, observation sheets, questionnaire sheets, and evaluation tests. Based on the observation sheet as many as 83,65% students can answer correctly the herding questions submitted by the teacher. This is supported based on the questionnaire sheet as much as 95,18% of students stated that they could understand the herding questions and felt helped by the accompanying questions to distinguish Newton’s First Law and Newton’s Third Laws. From the results of the evaluation test questions, 83,33% of students received grades ≥70. The results of observation sheets, questionnaires, and evaluation questions have met the criteria of success, it can be concluded that herding questions made so that students can learn to think HOTS can be used to remedy “cannot distinguish between Newton’s First Law and Newton’s Third Laws”
Faktor-Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Pembuatan Anyaman Bambu (Lambar) di Desa Tanjungsari Kecamatan Petanahan Kabupaten Kebumen
(Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) proses pembuatan anyaman bambu lambar di Desa Tanjungsari Kecamatan Petanahan Kabupaten Kebumen, 2) Faktor-Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Produksi lambar Di desa Tanjungsari Kecamatan Petanahan Kabupaten Kebumen. Metode penelitian yang digunakan analisis deskriptif. Sampel sejumlah 75 orang, ditentukan dengan mengaplikasikan rumus Yamane dengan presisi sebesar 10 %. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Metode analisis faktor produksi menggunakan uji regresi linear berganda. Analisis data menggunakan analisis fungsi produksi, analisis biaya produksi dan analisis kelayakan. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa proses pembuatan anyaman bambu lambar yaitu proses pengulitan dan pembelahan bambu, membuat iratan, penghalusan iratan, penjemuran iratan dan penganyaman (pembuatan lambar). Faktor produksi yang berpengaruh signifikan pada produksi lambar adalah iratan pendek, iratan panjang, modal kerja dan tenaga kerja dalam keluarga, sedangkan pengalaman usaha dan umur responden tidak berpengaruh signifikan
Perubahan Biologis Awal Berahi Kambing Kaligesing Betina yang Disuntik Ekstrak Hipofisa dengan Level Berbeda
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of different levels of pituitary extract administration on changes in vulva and cervical mucus secretion as indicators of lust for Kaligesing female goats. The research process was carried out at the Integrated Laboratory of Muhammadiyah University Purworejo and in Donorejo Village, Kaligesing District, Purworejo Regency, Central Java Province. The material used in this study was 24 Kaligesing female goats aged 2-5 years who had given birth at least once. The ingredients used are the pituitary gland and Medroxy progestagen acetate. The treatments given were T0 (injected 5 ml physiological NaCl 0.9%), T1 (injected pituitary extract 0.25 g in 5 ml physiological NaCl 0.9%) and T2 (injected pituitary extract 0.50 g in 5 ml NaCl physiological 0.9%). The experimental design used in this study was a complete randomized design subsampling (CRD) with 3 treatments and 8 replications. The parameters observed were vulva discoloration, swelling of the vulva, increase in temperature of the vulva, abundance of cervical mucus, and nerve mucus fern. The data obtained were analyzed using Chi-square and ANOVA. The results showed that the administration of pituitary extract had no effect (P> 0.05) on all parameters. Vulva color score at T0: 1, 5, 2; T1: 1, 4, 3 and T2: 0, 5, 3. The swelling of the vulva at T0, T1, and T2 is 0.350 cm, 0.375 cm, 0.387 cm. The increase in temperature at T0, T1 and T2 is 0.375 oC, 0.40 0oC, 0.56 2oC. Cervical lender abundance score at T0: 5, 2, 1; T1: 3, 3, 2, and T2: 2, 4, 2. The fern score of the cervical lender at T0: 1, 1, 4, 1, 1, 0; T1: 1, 1, 1, 5, 0, 0 and T2: 0, 0, 1, 2, 2, 3. The pituitary extract can improve the appearance of heat among treatments but is not significant (P> 0.05). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that: Giving pituitary extract in women Kaligesing Goat can improve the appearance of heat that is seen from changes in the color of the vulva, swelling of the vulva, increase in temperature of the vulva, the number of cervical mucus and cervical mucus fern, but not yet significant
Aktivitas Antioksidan Dan Kualitas Organoleptik Yogurt Susu Kambing Etawa Dengan Sari Buah Bit (Beta vulgaris L.)
The study aims to determine the effect of the addition of beet juice concentration according to the treatment of antioxidant activity and organoleptic quality of etawa goat milk yogurt. The process of research and organoleptic testing was carried out at the Integrated Laboratory of Muhammadiyah University Purworejo and the antioxidant activity test at a private laboratory in Yogyakarta. The material used was 5 liters of etawa goat milk, 1/2 liter beet juice and bacteria Lactobacillus bulgaricus and Streptococcus thermopilus, samples were taken of 125 plastic containers with a contents of 25 ml/sample for organoleptic tests and 20 bottles with 30 ml contents/sample for antioxidant activity test. The treatments given were S0 (0%), S5 (5%), S10 (10%), S15 (15%) and S20 (20%). The method used was a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 4 replications. Parameters measured were antioxidant activity and organoleptic quality (color, aroma, taste, and texture). The results showed the treatment of the concentration of the addition of beet juice was significantly different (P <0.05) on the antioxidant activity and color of yogurt but not significantly different (P> 0.05) on the aroma, taste, and texture of yogurt. The results of antioxidant activity were 17.00, 27.25, 36.17, 40.34, and 45.01. Yogurt color values of 1.48, 3.16, 3.04, 4.08 and 4.60. The value of yogurt aroma is 2.40, 2.72, 2.64, 2.68 and 3.08. The value of yogurt is 1.96, 1.72, 1.88, 2.40, and 2.48. Yogurt texture values of 2.68, 2.84, 3.36, 3.28 and 3.60. Beet juice can increase the value of the antioxidant activity and organoleptic quality between treatments but not too significantly (P> 0.05) on the results of organoleptic tests on the aroma, taste, and texture parameters. Further beetroot research needs to be done
Peran Kelompok Tani Terhadap Produksi Durian di Desa Kaligono Kecamatan Kaligesing Kabupaten Purworejo
This study aims to: (1) Determine the role of farmer groups on durian production in Kaligono village, Kaligesing sub-district, Purworejo district. (2) Determine the relationship of the role of farmer groups to durian production in Kaligono village, Kaligesing sub-district, Purworejo district. The research design used in the study is a survey method. The study population of all durian farmers who are members of farmer groups in the village of Kaligono, Kaligesing district, Purworejo district, amounting to 262 farmers. The sample of respondents studied was 73 durian farmers determined using the Simple Random Sampling method. Data collection instruments using questionnaires, analysis using Likert scale, and Rank Spearman. The results showed that based on the results of the analysis using the Likert scale, the overall role of farmer groups in durian production obtained an average score of 25.58, which means it was included in the medium category, where the role of each farmer group in durian production was the role of farmer groups as learning units and cooperation units fall into the medium category with percentages of 35% and 37%, while the role of farmer groups as production units falls into the low category with a percentage of 28%. The results of the analysis with Rank Spearman, it is known that there is a significant relationship between the role of farmer groups as a unit of cooperation with the close relationship that is quite strong and there is no significant relationship between the role of farmer groups as learning units and production units
Persepsi Petani Jagung (Zea mays Linn) Terhadap Kompetensi Penyuluh Pertanian di Desa Kaibon Kecamatan Ambal Kabupaten Kebumen
This study aims to: (1) Determine the perceptions of corn farmers on the competency of agricultural instructors in Kaibon village, Ambal District, Kebumen Regency; (2) Find out what factors are related to the perception of corn farmers on the competency of agricultural instructors in Kaibon village, Ambal district, Kebumen district. The population in this study was all corn farmers in Kaibon village who tested 191 people. The study sample approved 66 people, determined by referring to, Yamane with an error rate of 10%. Sampling using a proportional random sampling technique. Data collection instruments using a questionnaire with a Likert scale. Data analysis uses the Spearman Rank revision. The results of the descriptive analysis in this study show that (1) the perception of corn farmers on the competency of agricultural instructors in program preparation, preparation of materials, media selection and application of methods in good categories, (2) using internal factors that connect corn farmers and external factors towards perception Corn farmers oppose the competency of agricultural instructors in program preparation, material preparation, media selection, and method application
