Feature Extraction and Matching for different Intensity values using scale invariant feature transform.
India, having less awareness towards the deaf and dumb peoples results in an increase the communication gap between deaf and laborious hearing community. Sign language is often developed for deaf and laborious hearing peoples to convey their message by generating the various sign pattern. The Scale-invariant feature Transform has been accustomed perform reliable matching between a totally different image of the same object. This paper implements the assorted phases of scale-invariant feature transform to extract the distinctive features from Devnagri sign language gestures. The intensity of the original image is varied and then the feature extraction and matching have been performed between original and intensity varied image. The experimental result shows the intensity of the original image is changed by a pair of,3,4, and 5 times and the system achieves more than 99% of accuracy
Performance analysis of SLM technique in MIMO OFDM using Turbo codes
The multiple inputs multiple outputs orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (MIMO-OFDM) is transmission technique which is recently considered in many wireless techniques. MIMO-OFDM techniques are used to enhance the system performance. High peak to average power ratio (PAPR) is a big problem of OFDM signal. SLM scheme can reduce the peak to average power ratio efficiently. SLM requires side information bits to detect the original data bits at receiver is main problem. Since SLM without side information for the detection of signal is proposed in this method. In the proposed method, turbo coding is used with SLM scheme. Turbo coding ensures the error detection and error correction between the transmitted and received phase sequences. Simulation result shows that the SLM scheme reduces PAPR and BER
A Cognitive Radio Spectrum Handoff Schemes Based On Spectrum Sensing
Wireless communication techniques have gained popularity in the recent decade, wireless networks, at present, follow the technology of fixed spectrum allocation. This technique, in which spectrum bands are licensed by government agencies, follows the geographical division of regions and static access of the spectrum. Which limits the available spectrum causing in-efficiency; therefore we require a common method which can be applied to all network devices for optimal use of spectrum i.e. cognitive radios. Cognitive radio accesses the spectrum dynamically, which provides opportunistic spectrum access. There are many design issues and challenges in using CR network because of variable structure and quality of services. One such issue is spectrum handoff. Although there are many techniques by which a spectrum can be accessed by a user, in this paper spectrum handoff by spectrum sensing is discussed. There are three major methods to accomplish this handoff process which has been analyzed and compared, to provide a better scope for researchers physically implementing cognitive radios. This paper provides a comprehensive and brief survey on the cognitive radio spectrum handoff schemes based on spectrum sensing
The Multiple Feature Extraction in CBIR with Relevance Feedback
Rapid expansion of image data on internet opens the way to image retrieval systems. Most commercial image retrieval systems include text based approach which is incompetent as some features are nearly impossible to describe with text. In an effort to overcome these problems and to improve image retrieval performance researchers are focusing on Content Based Image Retrieval (CBIR). CBIR system uses the contents of image such as color, shape and texture features. This paper presents superior feature extraction technique in CBIR using multiple features like color and texture than the single feature. The performance of CBIR systems is further enhanced by relevance feedback (RF) mechanism that incorporates human perception subjectivity into the query process and provides users with opportunity to evaluate retrieval results

An Computer Adaptive Testing Using Rule Based
Computer Adaptive Testing Using Rule Based Approach is an approach for delivering on line tests. It is based on complex computer algorithms rendered to achieve proper content distribution, item exposure and test length. In the Computer Adaptive Testing environment, test assessment and evaluation of each user helps the examiner to process a thorough assessment of the user’s performance level based on the knowledge and learning ability. The other benefit of this system is that each user gets different sets of questions and the probability of the questions also differs depending upon the answer that the user chooses. The Adaptive testing using rule based approach will ensure that the next question given to the user will be dependent on the previous set of questions answered by them. The intention of this work is to design and test Computer Adaptive Testing Using Rule Based Approach technique for web based applications
A Compact Quad-band Metamaterial Absorber with Wide Incidence Angle for EMI/EMC Applications
A compact quad-band metamaterial inspired microwave absorber with wide incidence angle has been reported. The unit cell is composed of L-shaped resonators enclosing a square patch carved on a low cost metal-backed FR-4 dielectric substrate. The optimized absorber exhibits absorption peaks at 1.92GHz, 2.15GHz, 2.44GHz and 2.6GHz thereby covering L-band and S-band frequencies for EMI/EMC applications. The full width at half maxima (FWHM) bandwidth of 19.7% extending from 2.1GHz to 2.56GHz is achieved. The proposed absorber structure shows high absorption under oblique incidence angle up to 45°. The standard printed circuit board (PCB) technique is utilized for fabrication and testing is accomplished by waveguide measurement method. The simulated and measured results are equitable with each othe

DESIGN AND TESTING OF MULTIPLIER CIRCUIT USING BIST FOR FPGA
The intricacies of IC (Integrated circuits) are increasing at a swift pace, Thus testing these ICs for erogenous faults has become very important. BIST is very popular testing mechanism which involves the design of test circuitry around a system that automatically tests the system by applying certain test stimulus and observing the system response generated due to the stimulus of the applied testing patterns. In BIST, the framework for testing the circuit is integrated in the system hardware, As a result the testing process becomes fast and cheaper than using ATE (Automatic test Equipment). Multipliers are basic building blocks of electronic design, they are extensively used in processors, microcontrollers, computers etc for signal processing. The self testing ability of a multiplier is an improvement compared to a basic multiplier design. This feature enables on-field testing of the multipliers without the use of costly ATEs. The BIST (built-in-self-test) functionality gives a brief analysis of the hardware faults that may be present in the multiplier. This paper puts forward a implementation of a multiplier with BIST functionality. Using BIST the multiplier is checked for various stuck at faults. Xilinx Vivado tool is used for modeling of this multiplier. For the design of self-test circuit, TPG (Test Pattern Generator) is used
