    Get PDF
As we are moving towards maximum independent automation systems to avoid manual errors, corruption and ultimately increasing awareness of rules and regulations for citizens of India, it becomes mandatory to introduce automation without any intervention in traffic monitoring and regulation system. In proposed system we are trying to implement such a system which is applicable for Indian non- lane roads. In proposed system MATLAB simulation software is used for implementation. In Matlab video processing toolbox is mainly used. Outcome of this proposed system is to count & detect different types of vehicle through video processing. This paper is proposing real time vehicle counting and classification in traffic for Non-lane roads. It will be especially beneficial for Indian roads supposed to be one step towards following traffic rules

A Power Estimation method for energy efficient wireless sensor network

    Get PDF
Wireless sensor networks (WSN) are composed of large number of sensor node with restricted energy. The energy is one of the most important terms in wireless sensor networks problem. Sensor node in WSN consists of unit processor, memory unit and mainly power source. Wireless sensor node is battery operated; therefore the biggest challenge in field of wireless sensor is the lifetimes of WSN node which can be improve by achieving communication with low power consumption. So in this proposed work, a path metric that accurately captures the expected number of link layer transmission required for reliable end to end packet delivery with minimum number of retransmission are considered , we analytically computed Estimated cost with direct data transmission within the node & with shortest path between those nodes . Power is analyzed in terms of minimum cost which is the function of distance, number of packets used for transmission along with numbers of permissible hops. Comparative results are shown between time vs delay, time vs direct estimated cost & estimation with shortest minimum retransmission path, with variable data packets rate & number of hops. So with the proper selection of data packet rate and number of hops for end to end transmission considerable reduction in power consumption can be obtained

Progressive Image Transmission with OFDM over an AWGN Channel

    Get PDF
A modified Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) system for robust progressive image transmission is proposed in this paper. A joint source-channel coder (JSC C) is employed in the modified OFDM system. The set partitioning hierarchical trees (SPIHT) used as source code, and The Low-Density Parity-Check (LDPC) used as a channel coder. The SPIHT coder is modified to generate four different groups of bit stream relative to its significances. An unequal error protection (UEP) is suggested for data groups with the LDPC coder. Also, the modified OFDM system includes an adaptive c1ipping technique as a Peak to average power ratio (PAPR) reduction technique for OFDM signal. This proposed PAPR reduction technique is based on adaptive c1ipping for the amplitude of the input signal, where each of signals related to the different four groups of the modified SPTHT coder is clipped with a different c1ipping level according to the group sensitivity. To demonstrate the efficiency of the modified OFDM system with proposed PAPR reduction technique, the simulation results are presented based on bit error rate (BER), the Peak-signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) and PAPR over AWGN channel.Based on the simulation results, the proposed structure provides a significant improvement in BER and PSNR performances and a reduction in PAPR is achieved.   &nbsp

    Automization of Rationing System

In this system the proposed concept is to replace the manual work in public distribution system. India’s PDS is the largest retail system in the world. Ration distribution is one of controversial issues that involves corruption and illegal smuggling of goods. All these things happen because all the work at ration shop involves manual intervention. The illegal activities like, wrong entry in register about amount of product in the shop, selling the products in other shop with high rates, adding impurities to the grains. People don’t have the idea about how much grain is allotted to them for this munch. [3]In this paper we are automizing the distribution system at the ration shop as well as we are maintaining the database at one main control station and updating the database so that the shopkeeper do not cheat the poor people. RFID tag is used for authentication and the automatic distribution is done with microcontroller. [1]For updation GSM is used. [4]Along with updation GSM is used to alert the customer about the arrival if goods in the shop and to inform that Govt. has allotted this much quantity for the

FPGA Based Design Technique for Image Processing

VHDL is Hardware Descriptive Language. It is having many elements that can be used to explain the behavior or structure of digital system. It can be used to model a digital system. VHDL language gives support for modeling the system as well as it supports top-down and bottom-up design methodologies. VHDL is a large and verbose language with many complex constructs that have complex semantic meanings and it is possible to quickly understand a subset of VHDL which is both simple and easy to use. Here the system is to be designed in such a way that it will accept the image from PC serially and the image is enhanced using the technique as specified by user and enhanced image can be displayed on monitor. Here the device used for implementation is Xilinx FPGA XS3s400

The Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) having multicarrier transmission. OFDM is useful in Frequency Selective Fading to reduce robustness. It having N number of non-overlapping sub channels. By combining of Multiple Input Multiple Output that is MIMO OFDMTransmit high data at a time to increase Data rate.[9]For OFDM MIMO transceiver operation FFT and IFFT is used. Using different parameters like Constellation , Convolutional code rate and the MIMO Parsing method transceiver operation is done.16 QAM at ½ code rate for 48 Mbps data rate with Spatial multiplexing. FPGA is used for Hardware Co-simulation

High Speed Wireless Data Transmission Using Li-Fi for Android Mobile

    No full text
Nowadays the audio video data transmission between two android phones takes time. This paper gives the design of system full-duplex wireless visible light communication (VLC) system based on Light fidelity (Li-Fi) which transmit data bidirectional simultaneously by using LED as transmitter and Si PIN (Hamamatsu S6968) photodiode as receiver between two android mobile. This system develops a prototype to demonstrate a bidirectional wireless communication system based on Android Mobile. In this system, two android mobiles phones can transmit local data stored in the memory of mobile to each other anyone mobile either act as a transmitter or receiver. The system consists of two parts mainly one is hardware and other software. The hardware design is based on the USB port integrated to Android Mobile. The development of software utilizes the protocol of AOA (Android Open Accessory) which is a new feature in Android 3.1 or more advanced version  by connecting external USB bridge which  allowing data transmission between Android devices over USB interfaces. Combing with a USB port on one board, it can achieve up to 3Mbps bit rates error free, which is mainly limited to the USB bridge circuit between two mobiles for data transmission such as text, audio and video. This paper also shows the experimental results and the relationship between system transmission eye diagram and bit rate. &nbsp

Wavelet Transform Based Image Resolution Enhancement

    Get PDF
Wavelet transform based images resolution im-provement is new technique in which all low and high frequency bands are considered for improvement using interpolation techniques like line-ar and bicubic which scales image. In previous work only high frequen-cy bands are used for interpolation here differently low pass band is also considered because LL low –low frequency band mainly consist directional information feature .The interpolated frequency sub band coefficients have been corrected by using the frequency sub bands achieved by SWT of the input image. An original image is interpolated with half of the interpolation factor used for interpolation the high fre-quency sub bands. Afterwards all these images have been combined using IDWT to generate super resolved image. We are interpolating it to achieve high resolution using directional information features of low low band. We are using the input image for the interpolation of low frequency sub band image
