    Intelligent Note to Coin Exchanger

    Get PDF
Shortage of coins in the daily transactions at bus stations, railway stations, shopping malls and park is the main requirement of implementing an efficient and simple machine which will accomplish need of coins for transactions so that people will not face the problem of shortage of coins. This proposed system will provide sufficient coins for respective note. To implement this system we have developed a model which can take the note inside and check whether the note is authentic or not by using camera. By using the image processing technique it will ascertain the value of note and then as per the value of note it will allot the coins. Through this method we are endeavoring to design a low budget and efficient machine as in contrast to other subsisting machines. To discover the value of note we have certainly designed the MATLAB criterion

    MULTIPURPOSE INDUCTION MOTOR

    Get PDF
In this paper, a model is proposed to perform three functions on a single three phase Induction motor. We are going to implement the redesigning of stator of three phase Induction motor in which the rotor remains as it is. In such a way that it can act as a rotary phase converter and welding transformer

Design and Implementation of Z-source inverter using SBC

    Get PDF
This paper presents a comprehensive design and hardware implementation of Z-source inverter. For most of the renewable applications, the conventional VSI has been used which requires an additional boost converter to boost the output voltage. Z-source inverter provides a single stage power conversion topology which can give both voltage buck and boost properties. The control method used in the Z-source inverter is the Simple Boost Control (SBC) technique with Sinusoidal pulse width modulation. The design of the impedance network, hardware results of single stage Z-source inverter are presented in this paper

Modeling & Simulation of Transient Response of a Armature-Controlled Direct Current Motor Using MATLAB/SIMULINK

    Get PDF
In this paper the experimental implementation of a separately excited DC motor are presented. The models of speed control of the DC motor are implemented in MATLAB/SIMULINK. Simulation can be very helpful for  motor behaviour under different operating conditions which are helpful in designing more advanced protective devices precautionary equipments., For simulation of motor, some data is also required like torque constant which is obtained by experimental investigations. Output is varying corresponding to change in input variable. The input variables are armature current, filed resistance and armature voltage. By testing of actual motor simulating and modelling we will get our required output. &nbsp

POSITIONAL TERNARY PATTERN FEATURES BASED HUMAN AGE CLASSIFICATION AND ESTIMATION USING ARTIFICIAL NEURAL NETWORK

    Get PDF
In this paper, it is proposed to have a method for classification of human age using Artificial Neural Network(ANN) classifier. The classification of human age from facial pictures plays an important role in pc vision, scientific discipline and forensic Science. the various machine and mathematical models, for classifying facial age together with  Principal component Analysis ( PCA), positional Ternary Pattern (PTP) are planned yields higher performance. This paper proposes a completely unique technique of classifying the human age group exploitation Artificial Neural Network. This is often done by pre-processing the face image initially and so extracting the face options exploitation PCA. Then the classification of human age is finished exploitation Artificial Neural Network (ANN). The age is classed into four classes: kid, Young, Middle- aged, and Old. The method of combining PCA and ANN perform higher rather victimization separately. &nbsp

Rotational Energy Conversion Using Magnetic Field

    Get PDF
It is clear that society worldwide must start to mitigate its environmental damage instantly in order to sustain life on Earth. In this regard, researchers all over the globe are exploring new energy efficient alternatives to power everything from harmless source. The energy consumption rate around the world is rising day by day. On the other hand, conventional sources of energy are finishing at a fast rate. There is an uncertainty about the energy security around the world. The crisis of energy can be minimized by utilizing the renewable sources of energy in a decent way. In these thesis concept, electricity can be produced only using magnetic field. However, proposed thesis concept needs some sophisticated material which is unavailable in Bangladesh now. And it is also a new in the field of renewable energy. That’s why it is important to minimize cost by using the material which is available in Bangladesh. The thesis paper gives a clear idea about the impact of proposed concept on renewable energy and its effectiveness

Emergency Patient Health Monitoring System Using IoT Sensors

    Get PDF
The IOT based wireless body sensors network has emerged as a new technology for e-healthcare that allows the data of a patient’s vital body parameters and movements to be collected by small wearable or implantable sensors and communicated using short-range wireless communication techniques. WBSN has shown great potential in improving healthcare quality, and thus has found a wide range of applications from ubiquitous health monitoring and computer assisted rehabilitation to emergency medical response systems. Internet of Things (IoT) enable humans to get higher level of automate by developing system using sensors, interconnected devices and Internet. Monitoring of critical Patient health is most important activity small delay in decision related to patient’s treatment may cause permanent disability or even death. Most of critical Patient are equipped with IOT sensors to measure health parameters, We are proposing IOT based system which can help to monitor the patient health &  transfer patients health related  Readings  through  fast communication and identifying emergency and initiate communication with healthcare staff and also helps to initiate proactive and quick treatment. This health care system reduces possibility of human errors, delay in communication and helps doctor to spare more time in decision with accurate observations

A Review on Detection of Arsenic in Water

    Get PDF
For years, various methodologies to detect harmful content in water and the environment have been proposed. Arsenic is a naturally occurring element which is a contaminant as it is poisonous and carcinogenic. Humans are routinely exposed to arsenic through ingestion or contact with arsenic containing soil. Arsenic is found in two forms namely organic and inorganic. Inorganic arsenic is classified into two types namely As(III) and As(V). Industry also contributes to arsenic pollution in water. According to a survey, the largest reported population exposed to naturally occurring inorganic arsenic was found in West Bengal, India and neighbouring Bangladesh

Sliding-mode controller for a three level DC-DC Boost converter

    Get PDF
Renewable energy systems have been using to provide voltage to the Boost Converter which has to be boosted up before being inverted and connected to the grid. The controller technique should provide good voltage regulation and suitable for the Boost DC-DC conversion purposes. There are many controller techniques are proposed for MBC. This paper provides Reduce order model for a three level Boost Converter and focused on SMC without integrator, with integrator and double integrator, Results have been analyze

Partially Adaptive Cluster Based Routing for Network-on-Chip

    Get PDF
As the technology is scaling, reducing wire delays is the major hurdle in increasing communication speed between the cores of System-on-Chip (SoC). Also in today’s technology 50% of silicon area is occupied by interconnects. Efficient use of interconnects is possible due to highly scalable and reliable Network-on-Chip (NoC) communication architecture which has replaced long buses by routers. Routers in NoC make use of intelligent routing algorithms to route the information reliably between the cores irrespective of the topology used. With the help of routing algorithms router optimizes the use of interconnects. Algorithms should provide deadlock free and congestion free routing while ensuring the reachability to destination. This paper presents partially adaptive Cluster based routing referred to as Cluster based routing for regular mesh topology which, (i) Uses cluster approach to reduce the size of routing table. For a 8x8 Mesh there is 76.57% area reduction in routing table. (ii) Provides deadlock free partially adaptive algorithm without use of virtual channels which is achieved by avoiding cyclic paths. (iii) Uses adaptivity to avoid congestion by uniform distribution of traffic between cores
