    Get PDF
There are variety of engineering applications where structures subjected to vibrations and uneven noise. There are numerous techniques to study the vibration behavior of structures such as FEA and experimental modal analysis, same in harmonic analysis, mathematical modeling is another way. It predicts various modes of vibration. Plate because of high strength to weight ratio are in use for many structural applications. Such structures are subjected to dynamic load many times over its life span. Strength of these structures is increased by adding stiffeners to its plate. This paper deals with the vibration analysis of stiffened plates which forms the basis of structures. In order to continue this analysis various research papers were studied to understand the previous tasks done for stiffened plate. By considering various profiles of stiffeners and there arrangement studied by all the researchers is tabulated in one window. Various FEA software’s like ANSYS WORKBENCH, NASTRAN, HYPERMESH, and Ls-Dyna are used by researchers to do the Finite element analysis

A Comparative Analysis of Adaptive Contrast Enhancement Equalization Techniques

    Get PDF
Histogram equalization is a most widely used method for contrast enhancement. It is both effective and simple. But the standard histogram equalization many times results in change of brightness of the complete image. Many applications including consumer electronics can’t afford this change in the original brightness of the image. To preserve the original brightness, new contrast enhancement schemes like bi-histogram equalization (BHE), recursive mean-separate histogram equalization (RM.SHE), clipped histogram equalization (CHE) and gaincontrollable clipped histogram equalization (GC-CHE) are introduced [1]. These methods are analysed in this paper, along with existing standard histogram equalization method. The above mentioned schemes not only perform equalization but also preserve the original brightness of the image. The GC-CHE scheme uses controllable gain clipped histogram equalization which takes into account the mean brightness of the image to calculate clipping rate and the clipping threshold. The rate of clipping is controlled adaptively for contrast enhancement which preserves the mean brightness. It is found that under various conditions, the GC-CHE method performs better than the other equalization methods. Index Terms - bi-histogram equalization (BHE), recursive meanseparate histogram equalization (RMSHE), gain-controllable clipped histogram equalization (GC-CHE

-Database management system have significantly changed in the last several years from a system dealing with management of administrative data they have involved to a spatial DBMS providing spatial data types, spatial indexing and extended spatial functionality. Spatial database system as database system that offers spatial data types in its model and query language and supports spatial applications. Spatial database is mainly deal with 2-D dimensionaldata (geometric data). This is sufficient for many spatial application. But on the other hand our world is 3-D and a number of possible application can be identified that would be a greatly benefit from a treatment of 3-D data. Although the provided functionality is limited to the second dimension, various options exist for management of three-dimensional data. The idea of this topics (Research paper) is 3-D geometric information of spatial database. Our research has led so far to a called abstract model that identifies the essential 3-D spatial data-types

Effective Low Power Testing strategy with respect to Built in Self-Test(BIST): A Survey

    Get PDF
Low-power VLSI circuits are indispensable for modern electronic devices, and numerous hardware/softwarebased techniques have been developed for drastically reducing functional power dissipation. However, testing such low-power devices has increasingly become a severe challenge, especially in at-speed scan testing. The reason is that functional constraints with respect to circuit operations and clocking are mostly ignored in at-speed scan testing, which may result in test power that is 3X to 8X higher than functional power. This paper presents different low power techniques which can be applied to reducing the test power of Built in Self Test (BIST) circuits used for various digital IC’s

Carbon Capture, Storage and Utilization Technology By Break Through Solar Cell in India

    Get PDF
Global warming and climate change concerns have triggered global efforts to reduce the concentration of atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2). Carbon dioxide capture and storage (CCS) is considered a crucial strategy for meeting CO2 emission reduction targets. This paper reveals, various aspects of CCS including the state of the art technologies for CO2 capture, separation, transport, storage and utilization. As per Greenhouse Development Right (GDR) our projection of different trends of coal-based power plant capacities up to 2050 ranges between 13 and 111 Giga tone (Gt) of CO2 that may be captured from coalfired power plants to be built by 2050. If very optimistic assumptions about the country’s CO2 storage potential are applied, 75 Gt of CO2 could theoretically be stored as a result of matching these sources with suitable sinks. The aim of the present review is to check the feasibility and economics of CCS and CO2 utilization in fuel production by brake through solar cell technology

Communication is a fundamental form of human interaction, but sometimes it becomes inconvenient, problematic and expensive for deaf-mute people to communicate with nonASL speakers. This paper aims to bridge the communication gap between people with inability to speak and Non-ASL speakers to communicate conveniently. In the current work, we developed a smart glove which detects gestures using flex sensors and accelerometer/gyro-meter to detect the motion of hand in space. The experimental results implies that system is accurate and cost effective. The gestures are then mapped to a database of supervised data using KNN algorithm to recognize English alphabets, numbers and basic sentences
