Automated estimation of grape ripeness
India is worldwide well known for exportingfruits, having immense importance in the world. Globalfood security is necessary for not only durableproduction of fruits but also for remarkable reduction inpre and post- harvest waste. Harvesting fruits anddetecting ripeness of fruits by human is an expensive,laborious and time consuming task. For this reason,there is need for an automated ripeness estimationsystem in the last decade. Fruit ripeness estimation ismajor task that influence its quality and later itsmarketing. Researchers have started targeting towardsfor the study of ripeness estimation using methods inimage processing and machine learning to automaticclassification of ripeness of fruit accurately, quickly andnon-destructively. Traditional methods for fruit ripenessestimation considered fruits such as orange, apple,tomato, banana, papaya and etc. which is single fruit. Bytaking into account increasing productivity of grapesand bunch of berries in grapes need to focus onestimation of ripeness of grapes fruit. We have reviewedvarious studies in this domain and believe this is aprimary effort in summarizing the highlights ofresearches done. This will give direction for fellowresearchers. 
FGMOS BASED VDTA AND ITS APPLICATION AS A BIQUAD FILTER
Abstract—The voltage differencing transconductance amplifier(VDTA) is a very new introduced active elements for fast processing of filters and oscillators. The realization of VDTA using CMOS was first given in [2].VDTA can also be realized as a tunable universal filter [3] by using only one VDTA block and two grounded capacitors and by setting the input conditions accordingly and it also provides the control over natural angular frequency as well as quality factor But the filter given in [2] was realized using TSMC 0.35µm model parameter with DC voltages of +V=-V=2Volt.In this paper we used VDTA as a bi quad filter and realize the filter using 180nm model parameter with DC supply voltages of +V=-V=0.75Volt.Hence,we are working on low voltage technique by replacing the MOSFETs in current mirror[2] to FGMOS. To check the performance of proposed circuit computer simulations are accomplished with the LTSPICE
Human Assistive Lower Limb Exoskeleton
Exoskeletons have proven to be helpful in assisting humans in major fields such as rehabilitation, military, industries and more. However, even though these exoskeletons provide useful features,most of them fail to reach humans in need due to their high cost. In this paper, we present Human Assistive Lower Limb Exoskeleton (HALEX), a low-cost exoskeleton developed to provide human assistance during gait locomotion. HALEX is a hybrid lower limb exoskeleton which provides enough DOFs to users while locomotion. The paper discusses the development of HALEX, it uses electric motors coupled with self-developed gearbox at hip and knee and uses a passive element that is a tension spring at the ankle joint. Adjustable link lengths allow wearers of different heights and waist sizes to use this exoskeleton with ease. A load carrying structure allowsthe wearer to carry additional weights with reduced efforts. Tests were done to obtain the scale of assistance HALEX provides and the results of the same are discussed
Automatic Anesthesia Injector
In operating theatres, anaesthetists usually adopt a specific regime to administer anaesthetic drugs during the different stages of the operation. The amount of drug varies from person to person depending on various factors such that age, weight, gender, etc. There might be emergency cases when the anaesthetist might not be available immediately and therefore it becomes important to design a system which will calculate the amount of anaesthetic drug required for that surgery depending on the various factors of the patient. The second important factor is to continuously monitor the state of consciousness patient during the surgery

AN INTRODUCTION TO OPTIMIZATION IN STRUCTURAL DESIGN
Structural optimization is examined from the viewpoint of structural design office practice. The costs and benefits of optimization are considered, as are the special requirements which practical design processes impose. Several design aid computer applications which use optimization methods are examined including simple structural element design, whole structure configuration and sizing for trusses and frames and some specialist applications for concrete bridge decks and small industrial buildings. Practical considerations such as the discreteness of the variables and the use of design aid programs within iterative design processes are considered. Appropriate optimization methods are suggested for each group of applications, emphasis in choice of method being placed upon the practicality of the resulting design. It is concluded that optimum design aid programs are now practicable for many design offices, speeding up the design time for a project and thus repaying capital and software costs. The writing of appropriate software is a vital element at present receiving too little attention
3G INTEGRATED BATTERY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
The battery management system (BMS), integrated with 3G communication, is designed to protect Lithium-ion polymer battery (LiPB) and optimize its utilization in applications such as Electric Vehicles, while relaying the battery status among other parameters, to the user. Possessing the functions of battery modeling, battery state estimation, battery balancing, etc., it aims to monitor the State of Heath (SOH) as well as State of Charge (SOC) of the Battery and generate appropriate alerts to be delivered over GSM communication.
