Detection of Real Time Objects Using TensorFlow and OpenCV
Detecting and recognizing objects in unstructured aswell as structured environments is one of the most challengingtasks in computer vision and artificial intelligence research.This paper introduces a new computer vision-based obstacledetection method for mobile technology and its applications.Each individual image pixel is classified as belonging either toan obstacle based on its appearance. The method uses a singlelens webcam camera that performs in real-time, and alsoprovides a binary obstacle image at high resolution. In theadaptive mode, the system keeps learning the appearance ofthe obstacle during operation. The system has been testedsuccessfully in a variety of environments, indoors as well asoutdoors, making it suitable for all kinds of hurdles. It alsotells us the type of obstacle which has been detected by thesystem
High Data Rate Acoustic Massive MIMO for Underwater Communication
The demand for high definition real time applications for explorations and surveillance of underwater and marine environments is unprecedented, and also in defense applications and autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs). These applications require high data rate with improved throughput and low error performance in underwater acoustic communications. In this paper, MassiveMulti input multi output (MIMO)technique is proposed with Signal-to-leakage plus noise ratio maximization (SLNR-Max) based precoding method to amplify and achieve the desired performance enhancement. Here, it has been established that by increasing the number of transducers/hydrophones at the buoy station (BS), there is significant improvement in error performance and capacity. Proposed method for underwater communication channel can yield greater performance with high spectral efficiency and low error probability
A study on Dynamic ID based user authentication system using smart card
Advancement of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) have enabled electronic communication among its users through Internet. As a virtual communication medium, Internet transmit messages faster than its conventional counterpart, which encounter multiple constraints of physical medium that slows down the rate of message communication. As electronic message communication is conducted among its virtually connected users, their identity should be verified properly before initiating the electronic communication. Strict cryptographic security protocols should be designed to prevent intruders so as to establish Privacy, Integrity, Authentication and Non Repudiation (PINA) over the electronic transaction. The application of dynamic identification will help to achieve this objective during transmission of sensitive information over public communication channel like Internet. Considering the gravity of situation, researchers have already proposed several dynamic identification techniques for authentication of user. Underwater Wireless Optical Communication Channels with Directed Light and Diffused Light Transmissions in the Visible Spectrum
In this paper, we are doing channel modeling for underwater optical channels. Particularly, we have focused on received intensity of signal at the receiver for different water types, link distance and various parameters of transmitter and receiver. We found Monte Carlo an appropriate approach for simulation of projectile movement of emitted photons propagating in ocean water towards the receiver. We have also shown how the shadowing effect affects the received intensity in some cases. These simulated results are of great advantage to design parameters for different underwater wireless optical communication systems
