    Strategic Deployment of Distributed Generators Considering Feeders’ Failure Rate and Customers’ Load Type

    This paper presents an optimal planning schemetoward the design of distributed generation (DG) integrateddistribution network. The Greedy Search based approach aims todetermine the optimal size and location of DG units in order toachieve designated cost curtailment. The cost curtailmentincludes considerations for investment and maintenance cost ofthe DGs, active power loss cost and reliability level cost of thedistribution network. The deployment strategy consists of addingsuitable size of DGs at appropriate site while considering feeders’failure rate and customer load type. Economic factors specificallyinflation rate and interest rate are taken into account for presentworth evaluation. Also, yearly load growth and hourly and dailyvariations of the load are considered while planning.Additionally, power losses, risk level and voltage profile are alsocomputed to attest the efficacy of the proposed approach.Furthermore, computations are done to calculate amounts of thedetriment due to unreal modeling of the feeders’ failure rate andcustomers’ load type. It is proved that the unreal modeling cannotably impact the results of the problem as well as the optimallocations of the DGs

From the collectedwork it is clear that, AMI provides efficiency, reliability,scalability and privacy but due to security problem it lowers theperformance. Wireless communication security of AMI to bedetermined by considering four parameters that is confidentiality(C), integrity (I), availability (A) and accountability (Ac) or nonrepudiation.The number of researchers has done work onwireless communication security for AMI but stagnant there isenormous problem of security. Because of still no one researcherhas considered four security parameters. By considering thesefour parameters we can see drastic change in wireless security forAMI. Improvement in these parameters, AMI will be moreadvanced. But in this paper we are going to focus on wirelesssecurity for AMI in terms of Integrity only.AMI totally depends on wireless communication network.And now days AMI suffers from various cyber-attacks onwireless communication network. A security framework andarchitectural integration are the things necessary for confidentcommunication of data and control messages. Existing securityalgorithms are not suitable for smart grid data communicationbecause of their large execution time, more cost and therequirement of more memory. This paper tries to providesecurity algorithm in terms of integrity with less time and cost.After surveying the existing security solutions in this area, wepropose for wireless communication security WiMAX technology(Worldwide Interoperability or Microwave Access Smartarchitectural integration is very essential for AMI. Also, there is high possibility of water,available at reservoirs, getting contaminated while transportation. Apartial solution to this is to find new renewable sources of water, oneof which is atmospheric water. It is the water present in air in theform of vapour which gets added to atmosphere by natural process ofevaporation. The air containing water is termed as humid air and themeasurement of the extent of humidness of air is termed as humidity.Coastal areas have the highest humidity values. This water, whenextracted, can serve as a secondary source of water to people living incoastal areas. This would reduce the stress of water requirement onthe reservoirs. The process of liquefaction of water from air is calledcondensation. It is done by lowering the temperature of air below itsdew point, which is the temperature at which air gets saturated by itswater content. There are machines called atmospheric watergenerators which use this process to extract water from air. The wateris pure and safe for consumption. However, there are certaindisadvantages of which one is their high power requirement per litreof water extracted. The goal of the industry is to reduce powerrequirement and increase yield of water of these machines.     In this manuscript, we have proposed new key generation techniques with noise burst based on established variable key generation techniques. To verify the true randomness of the proposed techniques, we have tested the randomness of successive generated keys by using National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) statistical tool and tested with the standard algorithm RC4 and proved that the generated keys are truly random. The proposed techniques provide maximum level of security as compared to those related existing techniques as the newly generated keys are more random. Due to the enhanced randomness, it can be stated that proposed techniques provide more security in real time applications

    Melanoma being the deadliest form of cancer, if detected at an early stage can be completely cured. Most of the skin cancer detection methods are painful. Our project aims at non-invasive technique to detect skin cancer at an early stage. Initially the dermatoscopic images are pre-processed and segmented. Once segmentation is done, features such as Asymmetry, Border Irregularity, Colour and Diameter are extracted and a score is assigned. Based on the score, a TDS (Total Dermatoscopic Score) is calculated. This TDS score and extracted features are used to train the SVM (Support Vector Machine) and test images are given to SVM. It classifies the image as cancerous and non-cancerous

    ECG (Electrocardiogram) is the graph of voltage recorded from the electrical impulses generated by the heart versus time. It typically consists of the P-wave, the QRS complex and the T-wave. They are used to determine the healthiness of a patient’s heart. In a medical environment, there is a need to filter out the noise added throughout this signal to generate a precise rendition of a patients ECG. This has been attempted through the use of FIR high-pass, low-pass and band-pass filters. Their output has been compared on the basis of parameters like Signal-to-noise-ratio (SNR). The output through the filters was compared with the noisy input by the method of correlation to determine how much noise had been attenuated. Thus, the optimal filter was decided

Hence the daily status of the system can be tracked and through the regular updates of the system he can also spot   any disruption in system through the android application [1].Real Time Plant Watering system with embedded control uses the 8051 micro controller.Real time Clock (RTC) is interfaced with 8051 to water plants on proper time .     The notion of attribute-based encryption (ABE)was proposed as an economical alternative to public-keyinfrastructures. It is the set of descriptive attributes, used as anidentity to generate a secret key, as well as serving as theaccess structure that performs access control. ABE is also auseful building block in various cryptographic primitives suchas searchable encryption. . It successfully integratesEncryption and Access Control and is ideal for sharing secretsamong groups, especially in a Cloud environment. Mostdeveloped ABE schemes support key-policy or ciphertextpolicyaccess control in addition to other features such asdecentralized authority, efficient revocation and keydelegation. This paper surveys mainstream papers, analyzesmain features for desired ABE systems, and classifies theminto different categories. With this high-level guidance, futureresearchers can treat these features as individual modules andselect related ones to build their ABE systems on demand.For ABE, it is not realistic to trust a single authority tomonitor all attributes and hence distributing control over manyattribute-authorities is desirable.A multi-authority ABE scheme can be realized with a trustedcentral authority (CA) which issues part of the decryption keyaccording to a user's global identifier (GID). However, this CAmay have the power to decrypt every cipher text, and the useof a consistent GID allowed the attribute-authorities tocollectively build user's attributes. Decentralized ABE schemecan eliminate the burden of heavy communication andcollaborative computation. It is observed that privacypreservingdecentralized key-policy ABE scheme has claimedto achieve better privacy for users and is provably secure inthe standard mode
