Interpreter Glove With Gesture Recognition Ability For Dumb And Deaf Ones
With the advent of wearable technology, it is nowpossible to implement numerous and extremely creative ideasto serve humanity in unprecedented ways. Thus inspired, wehave developed a smart system which would be more beneficialfor deaf and dumb ones. The primary goal of this paper is todesign and implement a low cost wired interactive glove,interfaced with Arduino UNO, with a high degree of accuracyfor gesture recognition. The glove maps the orientation offingers with the help of flex sensors. The data is thentransmitted to the smartphone with the help of Bluetoothmodule connected with arduino UNO. As, they have the abilityto see they do read and write. The system is modeled for thedifferently abled section of the society to help convert signlanguage to more human understandable and efficient formsuch as interpretation or understandable voice/speech. Asnowadays, smartphones are playing a vital role in our lifestyle.Thus inspired, we had developed an app which will interpreton behalf of hearing and speech impaired ones. It will vocalizethe statement they write and do converts speech to text whichthey can read. If they fall in some trouble, they can crave forhelp just by making fist or using a hotkey integrated in the appwhich will make sound of siren. If in some bad day they havean accident, the smartphone finds an accidental shake and thehelping message with the location will be sent to registeredmobile number and the same message will be sent toambulance and an automatic call will go for emergency andproper confirmation. This device will bridge the gap incommunication and helps them to grow their career

A Review of use of sugarcane bagasse ash in concrete
— The use of waste product such as sugarcane bagasse ash (SCBA) in concrete serves as a way to decrease the volume of waste landfills and to reduce the use of naturally mined materials. Therefore, minimizing the adverse effect that the construction industry has on the environment. This manuscript summarizes the current state of practice with regard to the use of waste product sugarcane bagasse ash as supplementary cementitious material(SCM) in Portland cement concrete(PCC). This waste product has the potential to be employed alongside traditional SCM. This document will serve as a guide for the use of nontraditional waste SCM, to highlight areas likely requiring further research. The beneficial use of waste material SCBA as SCM is very less in recent years, however current research indicates that these materials typically provide a benefit when using as SCM in concrete

Vehicle Number Plate Detection using Convolutional Neural Networks
Vehicle Number Plate Detection (VNPD) Security is one of the main concerns in today’s world. Every residential and government premises takes logs of the cars which enter their compounds. The manual logging of visiting vehicles in residential, commercial, government premises is cumbersome and expensive. An automated process for the same will greatly increase efficiency and reduce costs. This paper describes a seamless method for the same. The developed system will first detect the vehicle and then captures the vehicle image. Vehicle number plate region is extracted using 2D convolution. From the number plate obtained from the convolution the image frame is masked into grey scale. After masking, the trained model detects the texts in the frame and prints it on the screen
Auditing of Filtered Municipal Water Quality Using Deep Learning - A comprehensive IoT based Neural Network Model
The paramount problem faced by living beings regarding the universal solvent is its salinity and other dissolved solvents. Also being the requisite for the existence of life, its characteristics and composition is to be made favourable for the well being of living beings. To purify the water from the water resources which is not potable, efficient filtration technologies have been developed. The quality of the purified water is monitored through the IOT module in the respective plants. This data is then fed to a Neural Network Model which then predicts the quality of filtration of the particular plant with respect to the quality of the water derived from it. These technologies are equipped to combat the issues in filtration plants and quality in municipal water distributed to homes. Water purification and Quality monitoring and prediction is still is a major concern in research as more efficient water purification techniques are evolving to combat the shortcomings of existing techniques
Variation in torque of DSWIM by just changing voltage keeping speed constant
This paper emphasizes on, the effect of varying supply voltages on the performance of three phase dual stator winding induction motor. A prototype motor is fabricated for experimental validation of the proposed machine. The motor consists of two different windings for stator wound for different number of poles (4 and 12 pole). Experimental Analysis is done for the machine with only one stator winding excited ( 4 pole winding excited alone and then 12 pole excited winding alone). After experimentation, the results are studied and It was observed that by varying the voltage at the two stator winding terminals, we are able to change the torque provided by the motor while keeping the speed same. Also it is possible to change speed at which the motor is operating while keeping the torque same.

This has wide applications like analog-digital format conversion, removal of background disturbance(noise) for clearer audio, addition of required effects, and many others. According to a number of studies, there is an acute need of representing musical audio signals in the form of their fundamental frequencies for the purpose of tuning. This paper proposes a moderate accuracy level representation of an audio file on the basis of power spectral density plot in order to determine whether the given note is flat or sharp that is to determine and verify a chord via audio signal processing on the basis of power or frequency spectral density plot using MATLAB. Result analysis of the fundamental frequencies was completed and compared with the values of fundamental frequencies of various musical instrument notes from the database chart. In this paper, we have used the Welch Method and the Periodogram Method to compute the power spectral density
