Application of guided discovery learning model using a scientific approach to improve learning activities and outcomes
From the results of the student evaluation, there were 8 students out of a total of 17 students or 47.1% of students who had not reached the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM), which was 70 with an average score of 69.7. The aims of this study were (1) to determine the application of the guided discovery learning model with a scientific approach to improve learning activities and outcomes; (2) To find out the increase in student activity and learning outcomes through guided discovery learning models with a scientific approach. This research uses two cycles of action research. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The target of this research is the fifth grade students of SDN Wajik for the academic year 2019/2020. The data obtained in the form of formative test results, observation sheets of teaching and learning activities and interviews. The results of the research application of the guided discovery learning model using a scientific approach have a positive effect on increasing learning activities and outcomes, and this learning model can be used as an alternative in thematic learning
Strengthening character education in fostering a wise attitude using social media
Today's rapidly developing technological advances, not only bring convenience and comfort to people but also contribute to many worrying problems. The development of social media with the ins and outs of a virtual world that is free without limits will have a negative impact if it is not used wisely. The existence of technological developments that make it easier to access social media should have a positive impact and bring benefits, especially for students, but it is often misused so that it has negative impacts and problems that ultimately weaken the character of the nation's children. . Therefore, strengthening character education is an important thing to do. The values of religious character, nationalism, independence, integrity, and gotong royong do not stand and develop alone, but interact and develop dynamically to form personal integrity. Armed with a good character, an individual will be better at speaking and communicating through social media. Individuals who have a strong character will be wiser in using social media
Improvement of response text writing skills through flow sentence techniques with image media in class IXA students at SMPN 3 Ngimbang
The purpose of this study is to describe the learning process of writing descriptive response text, describe changes in spiritual attitudes, describe changes in social attitudes, describe the increase in knowledge of learners, and describe the improvement of learning skills to write descriptive response text through flowing sentence techniques with image media in students of grade IX. The learning process is carried out through two cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II. The results showed that the average grade score in the precyclical knowledge test was 62.97. In cycle I it increased by 66.81 or in a fairly good category and in cycle II increased again by 82.81 or in either category. The results of the pre-cycle skills test were 66.5 or in a fairly good category. In cycle I it increased by 77.2 and in cycle II increased again by 84.3. Improved writing of descriptive response text was also followed by a change in learners' learning attitudes in a better direction during the learning process of writing descriptive response text through flowing sentence techniques with image media
The effect community of inquiry assisted by social media on problem-solving ability in education policy courses
This study aims to determine the effect of the Community of Inquiry (CoI) model assisted by social media on problem-solving abilities. This type of research is a Quasi Experiment with a Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. As an Experiment Class is the Civics Education Study Program, the treatment of the CoI learning model is assisted by Social Media, and as the Control Class is the Economic Education Study Program with the treatment of the CoI learning model without assistance. The data were collected using the test technique and observation sheet and analyzed with a t-test at a significance level (α) = 0.05. A value of 3.585 was obtained that the equal variances were not assumed to have a sig. 0.001 is less than 0.05, so Ho is rejected, and Ha is accepted. Thus, there is a significant influence between the CoI learning model assisted by social media on problem-solving in educational policy courses
Increase creativity and activity in the creative study of problem solving-based human resource management
The purpose of this study was to determine whether through cooperative learning method problem-solving type can improve learning outcomes of human resource management in learning human resource management material multiplication and division of fractions and decimals. This research uses two cycles of action research. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The target of this research is students who take human resource management courses at PGRI Adi Buana University Surabaya in the 2021/2022 academic year. The data was obtained in the form of formative test results, observation sheets of teaching and learning activities, and interviews. From the results of the analysis, it is known that student learning achievement increases from cycle 1 to cycle 2, namely the average value of the first cycle is 73 learning completeness is 75% and the second cycle the average value is 78.5, and learning completeness is 85%. This increase is also influenced by the level of activity in the creative process which is very good. The collaboration process that occurs produces experience in interacting so that it can improve problem-solving skills through the creative process. The conclusion of this study is that problem-solving methods have a positive effect on increasing student achievement and learning motivation taking human resource management courses at PGRI Adi Buana University in the 2021/2022 academic year, and this learning method can be used as alternative learning in subjects human Resource Management
The diversity of students' emotional intelligence and its influence on student activities in the learning process
Intellectual intelligence (IQ) and emotional intelligence (EQ) are indispensable in the learning process. The two intelligences complement each other. The balance between intellectual intelligence and emotional intelligence is the key to successful learning for students. There are many potential students that can be developed. Various emotional intelligences in learning affect learning activities. Each student has a different emotional intelligence background, how to respond to the incoming stimulus is also different. The process of interaction during the learning process in the classroom is strongly influenced by emotional intelligence and social skills so it is necessary to consider the background of emotional intelligence in accompanying them during the learning process in the classroom. Students with high emotional intelligence are easier to interact, adapt to their learning environment. Emotional intelligence can be developed by providing a lot of experience to them directly to improve their emotional intelligence under the guidance of the teacher in the learning process.
Study creativity with diverse social skills to support the learning process in future education
The characteristics of learners should be a serious concern in the learning process, these characteristics determine the success of the learning process in the classroom. These characteristics are influenced by social skills that are internally individual skills in behaving. Social skills that support the learning process if managed properly will improve the creative process well. Social skills through contact and communication, sympathy and empathy; compromise and cooperation, problem solving, mutual respect,, mutual respect for opinions make the learning atmosphere more interesting and effective that engages them to actively participate in fun learning
The influence of pedagogic competencies and diverse professional competencies on educator-certified teachers with teachers not yet certified educators.
This study aims to describe the certification of educators, pedagogic competencies and professional competencies and to measure whether or not there are differences in pedagogic competence and professional competence between teachers certified educators and teachers have not yet certified educators This research includes research surveys with quantitative approaches that use inferential statistical analysis with non-parametric statistical tests that are different tests using rumu Test Mann Whitney. The population and samples in this study are all teachers who are either certified or who have not been certified. The data collection method uses the questionnaire as the primary data and is supported by interviews and documentation as secondary data. The results of the study showed that for pedagogic competencies and professional competencies teachers included good categories, while in the test results U Mann Whitney obtained U Count = 182.5 and U Table = 136. Which means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected because the U Count ≥ value rather than U Table means that there are differences in pedagogic competencies and professional competencies between educator-certified teachers and teachers who have not been certified educators, this indicates that educator certification has had an influence on the improvement of pedagogic competencies and professional competencies although not very large.
Pengaruh kreativitas penggunaan media online terhadap minat beli produk kripik singkong
Persaingan yang semakin luas dalam ekonomi diperlukan straregi pemasaran yang dapat membuat minat beli berkembang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji Hipotesis ada atau tidak pengaruh antara Penggunaan Media Online dengan Minat Beli Produk Kripik Singkong, dan untuk memberikan gambaran Pengaruh Penggunaan Media Online terhadap Minat Beli Produk Kripik Singkong. hipotesis penelitian ini adalah di duga ada pengaruh penggunaan Media Online terhadap Minat Beli Produk Kripik Singkong. Variabel bebas pada penelitian ini yaitu Penggunaan Media Online, sedangkan variable terikatnya yaitu minat beli produk kripik. populasi penelitian inia dalah warga Bengkalis pengguna media online, dan diambil sempel sebagian untuk di jadikan responden dengan cara acak, instrument yang di gunakan adalah instrument angket tertutup dengan indikator penggunaan media online: kelengkapan informasi, evektifitas waktu, kenyamanan, kepercayaan konsumen, dan kualitas pelayanan, dan indikator minat beli: refrensial, transaksional, prefrensial, eksploratif dan kualitas produk. teknik penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan analisis statistik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang kami lakukan mulai dari rumusan masalah sampai pengumpulan data, antara penggunaaan media online dan minat beli produk kripik singkong karang taruna Bengkalis dan ditunjang analisis data statistic yang telah dipaparkan di atas, maka bisa di katakan bahwa antara variabel X dengan variabel Y ada hubungan yang signifikan. dengan demikian hipotesis penelitian yang berbunyi “Ada pengaruh penggunaan media online terhadap minat beli produk kripik singkong karang taruna Bengkalis dapat dibuktikan kebenaranya. kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penggunaan media online termasuk efektif sebagai media pemasaran produk kripik singkong karang taruna di Bengkalis, akan tetapi masih ada kekurangan yang perlu diperbaiki, untuk itu penulis mencoba menyarankan agar pengelola lebih aktif untuk mengunggah atau mengupdate tentang produk kripik singkong lebih sering dan intens
The efforts to improve the ability to speak english through the game"snake and ladder" in grade VII-A students at SMPN 3 Ngimbang: Abstract
Students' ability to speak different English needs serious attention in recent years. Still, uneven ability to communicate in English can be known with several indicators among them; the ability to express English orally often stops in the middle of a conversation, the average speaking duration is under 5 minutes, using vocabulary is very limited, lacks the courage to start speaking in English both to the teacher and classmates. In an effort to solve the problem, snake and ladder game modifications were done to improve the ability to speak English. The research method uses the Class Action Research with grade VII A students' research subjects in odd semesters at SMPN 3 Ngimbang. To explore research information, instruments used with performance Tice, formative, and interviews previously judged content by expert academics. The data obtained by a formative performance test in 2 cycles obtained information on the duration of the student's speech increased by an average of 8 minutes, vocabulary mastery was more with the use of better and correct diction, ideas and ideas can be better conveyed, while from the interview results showed students were more motivated to talk and learning felt fun. Test results in cycle 2 showed students who scored, on average over 76 were 32 people or 100%. The average test result score was 81.88. From the results of the research, it can be concluded that snake and ladder games are able to improve the speaking ability of grade VII-A students of SMPN 3 Ngimbang in English
