The purpose of the study. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of giving ice massage  after training in reducing the occurrence of DOMS. Method. The research design  used was the Post Test Only With Control Group Design research method, the  sample size was 20 students. The sample was divided into 2 groups, group I was  the treatment group (kinesiotaping and nerve mobilization) and group 2 was the  control group (without kinesiotaping and nerve mobilization). Subjects performed  maximal contractions and exceeded the training load. Subjects performed 75  contractions and divided into 3 training sets. Each set of 25 contractions with a load  of 18 kg. After training, the treatment group was given kinesiotaping and nerve  mobilization, kinesiotaping and nerve mobilization were given after 30 minutes of  training in the treatment group, then the control group was not given kinesiotaping  and nerve mobilization. DOMS measurements were carried out using the talaq  scale, where measurements were carried out after kinesiotaping and nerve  mobilization were given and without kinesiotaping and nerve mobilization. Result. For the  non-kinesiotaping and nerve mobilization variables, the probability obtained was p  0.010 < 0.05. The difference between the treatment group and the control group  using the Mann-Whitney test obtained a probability of 0.026 < 0.05. Conclusion.  By looking at the results of the data obtained, it can be concluded that providing  kinesiotaping and nerve mobilization as quickly as possible can reduce the risk of  DOMS, whereas without providing kinesiotaping and nerve mobilization cannot  reduce the risk of DOMS. To avoid wider damage from the effects of overloaded  training, giving ice massage early will help reduce the risk of DOMS

The  purpose  of  the study. Development of batting equipment adapted to the developmental characteristics of children in elementary schools and portable baseball perch poles, which can be used on dirt and concrete courts. Materials and methods. This study uses qualitative and quantitative research using research and development procedures (Research and Development). a) Needs analysis; (b) Model development planning; (c) Expert validation from media experts and material experts, (d) Small group trials and revisions, and (e) Field trials and revisions. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews and questionnaires. The data collection was adjusted to the model stages. The data collection stages were carried out in the early stages, expert tests, limited tests were carried out on small groups of 30 subjects, and field tests (field testing) of 60 subjects from two different elementary schools. In this study a closed form questionnaire was used containing questions accompanied by available answer choices so that students only need to mark the selected answer. The data obtained are grouped into frequency distributions, then the average percentage of group data is sought. Results. The research results from the first material expert validation test obtained an average of 81.94%, and the second material expert obtained 87.5% in the Very Eligible category. The small group test results obtained 90% with very good criteria, and the large group test results obtained 93% with very decent categories. Conclusions. The use of batting media that has been adapted to reduce weight, and the development of perch poles makes movement activities in small ball games more effective and efficient

The  purpose  of  the study. is to see if there\u27s a link between of   male (Amateur and non-amateur) players  college of physical education & sports science Al-Qadisiyah University  functional sports screens (FMS) and upper limb function. Materials and methods. The competition attracted 100 volleyball players ranging in age from 18 to 25 years old. BMI is calculated as 60-75 kg for heights of 170-200 cm. Keep a digital record for later analysis. At least 3 months before to involvement, there is no history of musculoskeletal injury. The seven functional motor evaluation exercise modes (squat, hurdle step, overhead squat action, inline lunge, shoulder flexibility, straight leg elevation test, trunk stability push-up test) are employed as assessment tools for sports injury prevention. Questionnaire for the Assessment of Arm Disability (DASH). This test is used to assess upper limb function. There is a significant Pearson correlation coefficient. p≤0.05 is used to check whether there is a connection between variables. Results. Research results show that high scores for measuring arm injuries are different from performance screening test scores. (r=.178, P=0.01) There is a strong connection between them. Conclusions. Coaches and sports experts seem to believe that choosing the right exam for athletes is crucial

The  purpose  of  the study. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of the effect of strength conditioning training on the playing skills of sepak takraw athletes at Pahlawan Tuanku Tambusai University. Materials and methods. The method used is path analysis research method to see the direct influence between variable X on variable Y with a population and sample of 25 people. The data in this study are the results of strength and physical fitness conditioning tests which were analyzed using test requirements path analysis techniques. Results. The results of the research that has been conducted on the strength and conditioning variables on the physical fitness level of the Sepak Takraw Athletes at the University of Pahlawan Tuanku Tambusai found a direct influence between strength and conditioning (X1) the playing skills of the Sepak Takraw Athletes at the University of Pahlawan Tuanku Tambusai of 0.721. This can be seen in the Coffesient Table which shows the value of sig. 0.000. It turns out that the value of sig. 0.000 is smaller than the probability value of 0.05 or a value of 0.05 > 0.000, so it can be concluded that strength and conditioning have a direct effect on the playing skills of Sepak Takraw Athletes at Hero University Tuanku Tambusai. Conclusions. The Conclusion From the test results show that physical strength is very influential on the skills of playing Sepak Takraw on the athletes of the Hero University Tuanku Tambusai

The  purpose  of  the study. This study aims to study and find out this method is used to obtain information directly from informants regarding "The Contribution of Leg Length and Flexibility of Togok To The Ability Of Volleyball Smash At The White Eagle Club Lueng Ie Aceh Besar 2021. Materials and methods. as for the data collection technique using tests and measurements with 15 athletes (Jimenez et al., 2016). The samples available in this study were 12 athletes due to sampling where the number of samples was the same as the population. Using the total sampling technique because according to (Hendra, n.d.) the total population is less than 100 and the entire population is used as a research sample. Results. the results of the calculation of t count smaller than t table or -3.83<2.178813 . This means that the description shows that the hypothesis that the author formulated is that there is no jointly significant contribution between leg length and togok flexibility on the volleyball smash ability of the Lueng ie 2021 white eagle club athlete Conclusions. There is no significant contribution between leg length and togok flexibility with volleyball smash ability in volleyball athletes at the white eagle club Lueng ie. Aceh Besar 2021

The  purpose  of  the study. The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted sporting events, which led to the cancellation of games and student-athletes being isolated at home and conducting their training online. The study looked at how student-athletes view themselves and their levels of optimism before and during the pandemic. Materials and methods. The study is a descriptive quantitative research that adapted the constructs of the Athletic Identity Measurement Scale (AIMS) and Revised Life Orientation Test (LOT-R). Slovin’s formula and stratified random sampling were used to select the respondents. Google Form was used to gather data on the 154 UST-IPEA student-athletes. For data analysis, Microsoft Data Analysis ToolPak was used as statistical software. Results. The results show that the factors of Level of Optimism, namely: Gender, Typology of Sports, and Competitive Level, do not affect the student-athletes Level of Optimism before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. Meanwhile, the factors of Athletic Identity, namely: Gender, Year Level, and Socioeconomic Status, do not affect the student-athletes’ Athletic Identity before the COVID-19 pandemic. However, one factor that affects the student-athletes’ Athletic Identity during the COVID-19 pandemic is the Typology of Sports. To sum up, the Athletic Identity and Level of Optimism possess a weak correlation. Conclusions. . Based on the results of the study, it is concluded to regularly monitor the student-athletes’ Athletic Identity and Level of Optimism by taking the Athletic Identity Measurement Scale (AIMS) by Brewer & Cornelius (2001) and Revised Life Orientation Test (LOT-R))
