銀行業の国内有人店舗の存続・廃店の状況と影響要因 : 1992～2023年《論文》
Get PDF預金取扱金融機関の国内有人店舗数は減少基調に転じて四半世紀以上が経過している。本研究では時系列の国内有人店舗データを用いて，実店舗の出廃店と存続の状況を調査分析した。1980年代開設店舗および1990年代開設店舗は，預金取扱金融機関全体でみて過半数が既に廃店されており，大手銀行に限ってみれば8割以上が既に廃店されていた。生存分析手法によって金融機関店舗の生存率曲線を推定した上で，店舗の存廃に影響を及ぼす要因分析を行ったところ，本体合併を経験した金融機関の店舗は生存率が顕著に低い傾向が示唆されるとともに，営業歴が長い老舗店舗になるほど生存率が下がりにくい傾向が示唆された。
In this paper, we provide time-series data on the branches of financial institutions to study the dynamic analysis of branch openings, closures, and survival.
More than 50％ of the branches that opened during the 1980s and 1990s have already closed. As for the branches of major banks, more than 80％ have already closed.
We analyzed the factors influencing the survival rate of branches using the survival analysis method. As a result, we discovered that consolidated financial institutions' branches have a much lower survival rate. It was also suggested that branches with a long operating history tend to have a higher survival rate.textapplication/pd
