高等学校の英語科論理表現と家庭科との教科等横断的授業実践研究 : 英語教員と家庭科教員との協働によるCLIL 的タスクを用いて<教育科学>
In Japanese high schools, students are taught by subject, and textbooks are prepared by subject. Although the materials in English textbooks are well organized, the settings are not authentic and some students have difficulty getting involved in the activities given in their textbooks. In order to solve actual problems in society, it is essential for students to look at problems comprehensively, select the appropriate knowledge, and formulate a plan to solve the problem by themselves. It is desirable for students to have such real experiences in the interdisciplinary (cross-subject) teaching. In this study, English teachers and home economics teachers collaborate with each other to have students learn from authentic materials. After cooking practice during home economics classes, students create an original recipe for a side dish which compliments the dish they made in class. They make group presentations about their original recipe. Each group decides their target generation in creating their original recipe, considering necessary nutrition, their preference, and physical features. In this study, the results of the pre-test and the post-test done in English and home economics classes, as well as the questionnaires that students answered are analyzed. The results of those tests show a lot of improvements in vocabulary, English writing and presentation skills. They also show that students acquire knowledge about nutrition and cooking. According to the questionnaires, students notice various points about cultural differences between Japanese and English languages, the depth of cooking, and how to make good English presentations. In this study, it is also argued that interdisciplinary teaching has great educational benefits and further potential in the education of high school students.textapplication/pd
小学校「振り子の運動」単元におけるデジタルセンサ活用の試み<数学・自然科学>
In this study, we considered and put into practice specific methods for implementing lessons that incorporate sensor-based measurements, processing of experimental data, and graph creation in elementary school science lessons on"pendulum motion." Furthermore, we examined the learning effects of this lesson and the problems associated with incorporating ICT devices. We redesigned the lesson plan for this unit and added lesson to learn how to use sensors. We also changed the order of the experiments. As a result of the practical lessons, students were able to effectively acquire scientific concepts related to pendulum motion even when using sensors. However, we also found issues such as students making sensor operation errors and being unable to correctly consider experimental data. We found that explaining to students about errors in measuring the period of pendulum was effective in helping them correctly understand pendulum motion, even when using sensors.textapplication/pd

This study examined the introduction of chariots and horses to the Shang dynasty, focusing on the types of horse harnesses. It was concluded that the chariots and horses were introduced to the Shang dynasty via the Great Wall region from the Hexi Corridor, with the Lijiaya culture acting as an intermediary, rather than from the Mongolian steppe to the north of the Gobi Desert.textapplication/pd
