The Relationship of Nurse Therapeutic Communication with Anxiety among Rheumatoid Patients
Objective: This study uses a descriptive correlational quantitative method with a cross-sectional approach to determine whether there is a relationship between therapeutic communication and anxiety in rheumatic patients at the Jatinagara Health Center.
Method: This study uses a descriptive correlational quantitative method with a cross-sectional approach to determine whether there is a relationship between therapeutic communication and anxiety in rheumatic patients at the Jatinagara Health Center. The population in this study were rheumatism sufferers as many as 119 people in the Jatinagara Health Center area using accidental sampling technique with a sample of 31 people. This study uses primary data or data obtained directly from the object of research by distributing anxiety questionnaires, namely Hamilton Rating Scale For Anxiety (HARS) and therapeutic communication questionnaires which were analyzed using statistical analysis applications, namely SPSS for windows with Chi-Square test.
Result: The results of the study obtained respondents who obtained the following results from 31 respondents who received good therapeutic communication, namely 19 respondents (61.3%) and those who received poor communication were as many as 12 respondents (38.7%). Of the 19 respondents who received therapeutic communication (61.3%) of them there was no anxiety as many as 11 people (57.9%) and of the 12 respondents who received poor therapeutic communication, there were 3 respondents (25.0) who had severe anxiety. Based on table 2.4, the chi-square results show p-value = 0.081 > (0.05).
Conclusion: based on research that has been done the results obtained show that the relationship between therapeutic communication and anxiety in rheumatic patients at the Jatinagara community health center is not effective
Validity Test of The Acupressure Model Integrated Spiritual Coping Skill as an Effort to Reduce Anxiety Level in Chronic Kidney Disease
Objective: Collecting information and testing validation for the design of an acupressure model integrated with spiritual coping skills as an effort to reduce anxiety levels in patients with chronic kidney disease proves that acupressure intervention integrated with spiritual coping skills has an effect on anxiety levels in CKD patients with hemodialysis through improving serotonin levels, and IgG
Method: This study uses Research and Development (R&D), the stages carried out in this study were stages one, two and three, namely: information gathering, product/model design, expert validation and revision. Samples were taken by purposive sampling technique, grouped into two, the first group was a sample of the information gathering stage, totaling 10, the second group was a sample of the expert validation stage, totaling 9 people consisting of specialist doctors, psychologists and religious leaders. Information collection data was tested using qualitative discriminatory and expert validation data was tested with intraclass correlation coefficient
Results: The results of gathering information concluded that the impact of hemodialysis treatment is the emergence of stress and anxiety in patients, anxiety, data can be overcome by acupressure treatment supported by activities that can meet psychological and religious/spiritual needs, thus providing a sense of comfort and increasing faith. Acupressure action with religious coping can reduce anxiety. Expert validation showed that the eligibility score was 90.9% with p=0.001 meaning that acupressure integrated spiritual coping skills was feasible as a model for reducing anxiety levels in patients with chronic kidney disease in the very feasible category.
Conclusion: The application of acupressure model integrated spiritual coping skills is feasible as a model to reduce anxiety levels in patients with chronic kidney disease on hemodialysi
Therapeutic Communication Strategy in Social Isolation Patient: A Case Study of Mental Health Nursing
Objective: To provide nursing care for socially isolated patients with therapeutic communication strategies for socially withdrawn patients.
Methods: The method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. The sampling technique is a therapeutic communication strategy. The sample taken was 1 patient who experienced social isolation disorders. The participants used in this study were the patient Mrs. S is 36 years old, a woman with social isolation mental disorders. The process of assessing and establishing a diagnosis is focused on the main problem. Objective and subjective data becomes a reference for periodic evaluation of nursing implementation. The location of the research was carried out at the BLUD of the Banjar City Hospital on 25-28 May 2022.
Results: Based on the results of nursing care found signs and symptoms, namely with subjective data feeling lonely, feeling useless, verbal responses are lacking and very brief, while objective data is the client looks a lot silent and doesn't want to talk, facial expressions are less radiant, less eye contact. The nursing problem found is social isolation. The intervention given is therapeutic communication.
Conclusion: Intervention of therapeutic communication strategies to help clients converse and want to get acquainted with their roommates in social isolation patients. This can happen if the patient can focus on doing therapeutic communication
Warm Compress to Overcome Hyperthermia: A Case Study
Objective: To find out the description of giving warm compresses to treat hyperthermia in An.M with febrile seizures in the Parikesit room of RST Wijayakusuma.
Method: This type of research was qualitative, with a case study design that was described descriptively. In this case study, the subject is An.M with hyperthermia nursing problems in cases of febrile seizures at Wijayakusuma Hospital, Purwokerto. Data collection in the following research was carried out by means of observation, measurement, in-depth interviews or anamnesis (assessment by direct interviews with patients or families), physical examination, and documentation for the same data source.
Result: The results obtained after giving compresses for 3 days the patient's body temperature which was originally 38.50C dropped to 370C.
Conclusion: It was concluded that hyperthermia can be overcome by giving warm compresses, warm compresses cause the body temperature outside to be warm so that the body will interpret that the outside temperature is quite hot, eventually the body will reduce the temperature control control in the brain so as not to increase the body temperature, with the outside temperature Warmth will make the peripheral blood vessels in the skin widen and experience vasodilation so that the skin pores will open and facilitate heat dissipation, so there will be changes in temperature. This can be seen from the results of the researcher's evaluation that giving warm compresses can have an impact on decreasing body temperature
Skills in Completing KPSP: An Android-Based Pre-Developmental Screening Questionnaire of Diploma Midwifery Students
Objective: To find out the description of student skills in filling in the Android-Based Pre-Developmental Screening Questionnaire.
Method: This type of research is descriptive quantitative, the population in this study is Level II Semester IV students of Diploma Midwifery STIKes Muhammadiyah Ciamis as many as 23 people, the sample is taken using a total sampling technique, namely, the entire population is sampled, the analysis used in this research is univariate analysis, an instrument using the Android-Based Pre-Developmental Screening Questionnaire filling assessment checklist sheet.
Result: The study's results showed that out of 23 students scored a quality of 4.0 with an A symbol, of 48%.
Conclusion: In this study, it can be concluded that student skills in completing the Android-based KPSP are declared to obtain a passing score
The Correlation of Dietary Habit with Incidence of Gastritis
Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between diet and the incidence of gastritis in adolescents at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Ciamis (MAN 2 Ciamis), Ciamis Regency, West Java.
Method: The research desain used in this study is an analytical survey, to find the relationship between diet and the incidence of gastritis in adolescents, it is carried out with a cross sectional approach. The population used in this study were all teenagers consisting of class X students with a total population of 62 people. The total sample used is 56 people. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, which is the sampling of data sources with the consideration of 56 respondents. To find the relationship between the two variables, the SPSS TEST was used to obtain the results of the chi-square test with a 95% confidence level and presented in the form of tables and narratives.
Result: In this study, as many as (67.9%) adolescents with poor dietary habits experienced more gastritis than those who did not experience gastritis (32.1%) and The results of the non-parametric chi square test showed a large number of values = 0.000 < 0.05 which stated that there was a significant relationship between diet and the incidence of gastritis in adolescents.
Conclusion: There is relationship between dietary habits and the incidence of gastritis in adolescents at MAN 2 CIAMIS
Case Study: Deep Breathing Relaxation Intervention to Reduce Pain in Post Sectio Caesarea Client
Objective: To determine the implementation of deep breathing relaxation techniques in clients with post operative section caesarea.
Method: The method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach using nursing care that refers to the SDKI and SIKI books. The subject in this study was 1 sectio caesarea client with a diagnosis of acute pain who was treated in Teratai Room 2 BLUD Banjar City General Hospital. The data collection techniques included interviews, observations, physical examinations and documentation.
Result: From nursing care for postoperative sectio caesarea clients, the symptoms that appear during the assessment are pain in the lower abdomen. The nursing problem that arises is acute pain related to physical injury agents referring to the SDKI book. Interventions carried out to reduce pain are deep breathing relaxation techniques. During the intervention process, the action went smoothly until the evaluation. In this study, there was a decrease in the pain scale from 3 to 0.
Conclusion: After the intervention of breathing relaxation techniques on the client's pain scale was reduced from 3 to 0, while the subjective data from the anamnesis results, the client said the pain was reduced
Nursing Care in Close Fracture of Manus Dextra Digiti V Patients
Objective: This study aims to describe changes in pain in patients with 5 finger hypnotic non-pharmacological therapy.
Method: This research is a case study that was conducted in March 2022 with an assessment guide instrument for data collection. Researchers used the nursing care process from the assessment stage to evaluation.
Result: According to the results of the study, guided relaxation techniques for 3 days can reduce pain, from pain intensity on a scale of 5 to 4.
Conclusion: The most felt and disturbing complaint of fracture patients is pain in the area around the wound/fracture with a scale of 5, pain like stabbing. Pain will be felt when the patient moves the fractured part. Non-pharmacological hypnotic therapy of 5 fingers within a period of 3 days is able to reduce the scale of pain felt in postoperative 5 finger digiti fracture patients
The Effect of Oxygenation on Improving Breathing Pattern in Congestive Heart Failure Case
Objective: To determine the effect of oxygenation on increasing ineffective breathing patterns in congestive heart failure (CHF).
Method: This case study uses a descriptive method that includes an assessment that aims to provide a detailed description of the background, nature and character of a case. This study uses three data collection techniques, namely, primary data (interviews and observations), and secondary data (documentation).
Result: After giving oxygen, the results showed that there was a change in breathing pattern for the better, no shortness of breath, and a normal frequency of respiration 21 x/minute and SPO2 99%.
Conclusion: It is concluded that the ineffective breathing pattern can be overcome by giving oxygenation. It can be seen from the results of the research evaluation that giving oxygen before and after can have an effect on improving breathing
The Effect of Range of Motion Exercise to Improve Muscle Strength on Physical Mobility Barriers in Osteoarthritis Patient
Objective: To determine the effect of ROM activity therapy to increase muscle strength on physical mobility barriers in osteoarthritis cases.
Methods: This case study uses descriptive methods to describe assessment, data analysis, nursing plans, interventions, implementation, evaluation by describing cases and using a nursing process approach so that it focuses on one of the important problems of osteoarthritis. Assessment is done by history taking and observation. Nursing diagnoses are determined by NANDA, while nursing plans are adjusted to interventions in the Nursing Intervention Classification (NIC), implementation is carried out according to nursing care plans that have been prepared, and nursing evaluations are documented using the SOAP model.
Results: The results of the evaluation were carried out within a period of 3 days, the intervention given with range of motion activity therapy had an effect in increasing lower extremity muscle strength. The patient cannot move freely and has difficulty carrying out activities, for that the authors design an intervention especially to increase muscle strength and after implementation the patient can perform optimal movements.
Conclusion: It was concluded that the effect of ROM activity therapy to increase muscle strength on physical mobility barriers in cases of osteoarthritis. It can be seen from the results of the research evaluation that range of motion exercises before and after can have a major influence in increasing muscle strength
