DUKUNGAN SUAMI DALAM PENINGKATAN PRODUKSI ASI : STUDI KASUS DI RS. BHAYANGKARA MAKASSAR
The success of exclusive breastfeeding is significantly influenced by the role of husbands in providing support to their breastfeeding wives. This study aims to explore the forms of spousal support and their impact on breast milk production among breastfeeding mothers at Bhayangkara Hospital, Makassar. A qualitative case study approach was employed, involving five postpartum mothers and their husbands as participants. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation analysis. The results revealed four main forms of support: emotional, instrumental, informational, and appreciation. Emotional support included encouragement and presence during breastfeeding; instrumental support involved assisting with household chores and baby care; informational support involved providing knowledge about breastfeeding; and appreciation was expressed through praise and verbal recognition. All mothers reported a subjective increase in breast milk production, higher confidence, and lower stress levels due to their husbands' involvement. Four out of five participants successfully practiced exclusive breastfeeding. The study also highlights that informational support plays a crucial role in helping mothers make informed decisions about breastfeeding. Unlike previous studies that emphasized only one or two support types, this study shows that a multidimensional support system yields optimal results. Moreover, appreciation—often overlooked in previous research—proved effective in strengthening maternal motivation and emotional wellbeing. This study contributes new insights by emphasizing subjective maternal experiences and local cultural contexts in Eastern Indonesia. The findings suggest that comprehensive husband involvement is crucial for the success of exclusive breastfeeding programs and should be integrated into maternal and child health strategies.

Currently, Indonesia is experiencing a triple burden malnutrition, on the one hand it is still experiencing the problem of malnutrition, but on the other hand there is obesity and an increase in the prevalence of nutrition-related diseases such as Chronic Energy Deficiency. The current condition of adolescents is more interested in consuming ready-to-eat food which causes a high rate of nutritional deficiency so that it can affect nutritional problems in adolescents. This study aims to determine the risk factors for chronic energy deficiency in adolescent girls in Majene district. The population in this study is adolescent girls. The sampling technique is purposive sampling and the type of research used is Cross Sectional. The statistical test to be used is chi-quare or fisher-exact. The results of this study stated that of the four variables studied, namely infectious diseases, knowledge, diet and physical activity, the only factor that has a relationship with the incidence of KEK is the dietary factor. Thus, to reduce the prevalence of SEZs in adolescents, it can be maximized in providing education related to healthy diets

Background The National Family Planning Movement is primarily focused on controlling the population growth rate and planning human resources. Preventing successive pregnancies is one of the objectives of using contraceptives. Injectable contraception is a practical and effective method of contraception. It is one of the most widely used contraceptive methods in Indonesia. However, one of the side effects of injectable contraception is the potential increase in body weight. Method (The research method employed is quantitative, aiming to collect numerical data that can be statistically analyzed. This study uses a cross-sectional research design. The collected data are analyzed using the Chi-square test. The Chi-square test is a statistical test used to examine the relationship between two nominal variables. Result From the results we obtained, it appears that out of the seven variables we studied, not all of them have significant values. The variables that show significance are age and physical activity. Therefore, it can be concluded that age is the most influential variable. Conclusion There are two variables that have a significant influence, namely the age variable and the physical activity variable. Meanwhile, the variables of type of contraception, duration of contraceptive use, level of knowledge, parity, and diet of the acceptor, did not indicate a significant influence

The results of this study show that the data obtained from the relationship between knowledge and prevention of premarital sex obtained a value of p=0.017 which is a smaller than α = 0.05, the relationship between attitudes and prevention of premarital sex obtained a value of p = 0.009, which is a smaller value. The same as the value of α = 0.05, the relationship between parental guidance and prevention of premarital sex obtained a value of p = 0.014, which is more than small than the value of α = 0.05 an the relationship prevention of premarital sex obtained a value of p = 0.020 where this value is smaller than the value α = 0.05 then data obtained from the relationship between knowledge, attitudes, parental guidance and friendship shows a significant relationship so Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. The most dominant variable in the data analysis that has a relationship in preventing premarital sex at Santo Andreas Lauran Middle School is knowledge. HUBUNGAN KADAR HEMOGLOBIN IBU HAMIL TERHADAP BERAT BADAN BAYI BARU LAHIR
The Ministry of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenkes) reported that the Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) in 2022 was around 183/100,000 live deaths. The high MMR and Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) are generally influenced by the high number of mothers who have high risk and poor obstetric history in pregnancy and lack of early detection in pregnancy. The impact on babies can include obstacles to fetal growth and development in the womb, abortion, premature birth, LBW, infection in newborns and growth after birth experiencing difficulties and infant death. This study aims to determine how hemoglobin (Hb) levels in pregnant women are related to newborn weight (LBW), bleeding during childbirth, low birth weight (LBW), non-ideal IQ, babies who are susceptible to infection, and malnutrition. During pregnancy Plasma increases quite significantly then the concentration of hemoglobin and hematocrit decreases somewhat, during pregnancy as a result the overall blood viscosity will decrease, the average hemoglobin concentration at term is 12.5 g / dl and in about 5% of women the concentration is less than 11.0 g / dl, therefore the hemoglobin concentration below 11 g / dl, especially at the end of pregnancy should be considered abnormal and is usually caused by iron deficiency and not due to hypervolemia of pregnancy According to the Ministry of Health (2005), several factors that cause anemia in pregnant women include bleeding during childbirth, low birth weight (LBW), poor IQ, the tendency of babies to be infected, and malnutrition. Hemoglobin and hematocrit concentration during pregnancy this study aims to determine the relationship between hemoglobin (Hb) levels of pregnant women and newborn weight, the variables to be studied are Hb levels and newborn weight. During pregnancy, plasma increases significantly, so the concentration of hemoglobin and hematocrit decreases slightly. During pregnancy, the overall blood viscosity decreases. The average hemoglobin concentration at term is 12.5 g/dl and in about 5% of women the concentration is less than 11.0 g/dl. Therefore, hemoglobin concentrations below 11 g/dl, especially at the end of pregnancy, should be considered abnormal and are usually caused by iron deficiency and not due to pregnancy hypervolemia. This study will be conducted at the Rappokalling Health Center, Makassar. The type of research used is an analytical survey with a cross-sectional study approach. Sampling is non-probability sampling. The results of statistical tests with chy square show a significant relationship between hemoglobin levels in pregnant women and newborn weight with a P-value of 0.00
