Telemedicine in Regional Prospects Towards Globalization: An Overview of the Telehealth Utility in Region Around Pakistan, Challenges and Opportunities from Neighbourhood
The use of ICT in the healthcare industry overwhelmingly impacts and enriches service quality, improves availability and endorses healthcare management using electronic healthcare delivery systems (e-Health). Even though the implementation of low threshold, flexible and cost-effective e-health mediations in various settings of healthcare seems very promising, there is an enduring challenge to design, develop, implement and evaluate such HIT interventions within the multifaceted healthcare system consisting of high-pressured, rapid-paced and dispersed settings of healthcare delivery practised amongst different countries. Hence integration of ICT significantly impacts healthcare delivery in developing economies. If missioned to import from neighbouring technology-advanced states for assistance in underdeveloped and developing countries, it remains an opportunity as well as a major challenge. In this research, scholars have investigated the growth of Telemedicine in different regional countries around Pakistan as a future potential generic solution towards regional collaboration. It is also found that this part of the globe exhibits a unique picture with China and India leap-frogging with ICT including HICT whereas Pakistan, Bangladesh, Iran and Sri Lanka still stay infantile in HICT execution. A regional telemedicine network may emerge as having the potential of better health consultation for neighbours from neighbouring countries

Impact of Human Resource Practices on Employee Performance: A Case Study of Vivid Technologies
This study examines the impact of HR practices on employee productivity at Vivid Technologies. It used quantitative approach, non-probability sampling, purposive sampling, sample population, sampling frame, and sampling technique. Results showed that Vivid Technologies should foster a culture of continuous learning and provide opportunities for networking, knowledge sharing, and skill development to improve performance. Vivid Technologies should implement key HRM practices to enhance employee performance, such as recruitment and selection, training and development, compensation and benefits, performance management, work-life balance, and communication channels. Job role type should be taken into account, and organizational culture should be in harmony with HRM practices to maximize their effectiveness
Companies Adopting Social Media for Successful Development of Relationship Marketing with Customers
Relationship marketing is the technique of developing and sustaining mutually beneficial ties between a firm and its clientele. It provides businesses with a competitive edge and enables them to expand into new opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction. To assess the extent of the impact, exploratory research, inductive techniques, qualitative research, surveys, convenience sampling, thematic analysis, and ethical consideration were used to collect primary data. The results showed that companies should use social media as a customer service channel, get insight into competitors, stay abreast of market trends, and ask customers for feedback. Companies should prioritize customer satisfaction and invest in building and nurturing customer relationships to secure long-term loyalty
Determining Lexical Competence to Measure Language Progress in Urban Bi and Multilingual Preschool Children
This study examines the lexical growth of pre-schoolers in bilingual/multilingual Pakistani community. These children are immersed in English (L2/L3) at playschool while being exposed to their mother tongue (L1) and Urdu (L1/L2) at home. The primary goal of this cross-sectional quantitative study is to ascertain the lexical advancement among children across four age groups, evaluating them on conceptual criteria, and employing a tool specifically developed for assessing lexicon. A simple random selection of 100 typical bilingual and multilingual children were recruited from mainstream playschools. Each child was screened with a Lexical Skills Screener designed for bilingual/multilingual individuals, with 255 culturally relevant images that assessed their morphological and semantic abilities. The participants identified pictures using English and Urdu, rather than their native language. An observable increase in lexical competence was noted across age groups. Specifically, children aged 2 to 2.11 years identified 40.7% of the pictures, those aged 3 to 3.11 years identified 49.02%, and those aged 4 to 4.11 years identified 62.75 % of the total images. In early childhood, children effortlessly pick up multiple languages. Among bilingual/multilingual children across the three age groups, vocabulary growth across each language is uneven
Reflective Practices: A Comparative Analysis of Gender-based Differences and Barriers at Higher Secondary School Level
The gender differences and barriers to reflective practice have been compared in the present study. The study\u27s main objectives were to observe the gender base differences in teachers about reflective practice and to check their views about barriers to following reflective practice. The nature of the following research was descriptive. This research paper sample consisted of 300 male and female teachers of higher secondary public and private schools. The collection of data was managed through a stratified random sampling technique. Inferential statistics were applied for the analysis of data. Gender base difference of opinions about reflective practice was discovered in this study as the female teachers showed more concern towards reflective practice as compared to their male colleagues. The results regarding the barriers to reflective practice were almost identical in public and private sector higher secondary schools. It was concluded that teachers of both the public and private sectors need professional training to apply reflective practices in classroom environments. It is suggested that technology can be applied in the teaching techniques which can be helpful to fulfill the present time needs
Investigating Barriers to Healthcare Access for Parents of Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in South Punjab, Pakistan
This research explores the Barriers to Healthcare Access for Parents of Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in South Punjab, Pakistan. It investigates factors such as awareness channels, availability of healthcare facilities, and barriers to healthcare access. Utilizing quantitative methods, including structured surveys and statistical analyses, data from 100 participants were analyzed. Findings indicate diverse awareness channels, with disparities in awareness across different aspects of ASD. While healthcare facilities such as general practitioners and speech therapists are somehow available but, specialized services show notable gaps. Transportation problems, financial constraints, and cultural practices emerge as significant barriers to healthcare access. Statistical analyses reveal no significant differences in perceptions based on demographic variables. This study contributes valuable insights into the multifaceted challenges faced by families navigating the healthcare system for their children with ASD in South Punjab, Pakistan. It informs interventions & policy recommendations to ameliorate healthcare access and support services for this vulnerable population
An Analytical Study of Training Needs of University Teachers in Online Environment in Perspectives of Physical Resources and Pedagogical Skills in the Subject of Social Sciences
The objectives of this research study were about finding out the availability of physical resources, the pedagogical requirements of teachers training for online teaching and examining the ICT skills that the teacher needs to teach in online teaching. The mode of teaching has widely got more importance from regular mode towards online teaching and learning from post COVID time. These days it is very familiar concept. The study aimed to investigate the teachers training need assessment for online teaching at university level. This is the descriptive research study. The population as well as sampling units for this study was 150 male along with female university educators. It was concerned in this study about the needs of training of them for online mode of teaching. Questionnaire was used to collect data from the teachers of social science currently serving in various universities in Islamabad. The data were analysed through SPSS by using mean, frequencies, and standard deviation. The data revealed that Information and Communication Technology (ICT) structure needs to be strengthened for online education environments with the concept of blended education and learning techniques self-paced learning and online interactions as an effective and alternate mode of learning
Analysis of the Adoption of Mudarabah and Musharakah in Pakistan
Because of the Riba free and Profit Loss Sharing (PLS) features, the reputation of Islamic banks has highly impacted the banking sector. The banking has been popular in many Islamic nations such as UAE, Malaysia, Indonesia and Pakistan. Pakistan is being governed commercially by the conventional as well as Islamic banking system. These Islamic banks have been prone to vulnerability in their lack of ability to tackle loans-based interest and their tiny existence lacking expertise.’ The questions which arise are whether there are any tools which benefit the Islamic banking sector. Yes, there are many products which provide interest-free banking to the folk in general so that the real essence of the law is being followed. The research paper focuses on the issue of conversion of Mudarabah (semi-partnership) into Musharakah (partnership) and whether the Standardization benefits Islamic banking in Pakistan will be discussed in the chapter. The paper goes into detail regarding ‘the methods of preparing, adopting, and implementing as well as promulgation of laws in Pakistan in respect of these Standards
A Systematic Review of Exploring the Multiple Dimensions of Data-Driven Culture
Data-driven culture refers to the set of values, behaviours, and practices within the organization that prioritize the effective use of data. The role of data-driven culture in improving organizational outcomes is widely recognized. Despite its growing importance, a holistic view of data-driven culture, which could guide practitioners and researchers, is still lacking. In this review paper, we aim to develop an integrative framework for understanding the multiple dimensions of data-driven culture and its relationship. This study conducts a domain-based systematic literature review to discern the breadth and depth of data-driven culture as portrayed in prior studies published between 2000-2024. Using the Preferred Reporting System for Systematic Literature Review and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA-SLR) protocol, 32 primary studies in healthcare, business organizations, and educational institutions indexed in Web of Science and Scopus were identified, along with grey literature sourced via Google. This study uncovers the multiple dimensions of data-driven culture including data-driven mindset, data-driven leadership, data literacy, data accessibility, and data governance and its influence on decision-making practices within the organization. This review further highlights the interrelationships between multiple dimensions of data-driven culture and provides an integrative framework for leaders and managers to build data-driven organizations. Additionally, this review identifies actionable insights and research gaps for further exploration
