PEMANFAATAN MESIN PULPER UNTUK PENINGKATAN PRODUKTIVITAS KELOMPOK TANI KOPI HARUM MANIS DI DESA SEMPADIAN
Kelompok Tani Kopi Harum Manis di Desa Sempadian, Kabupaten Sambas, menghadapi kendala dalam pengupasan kopi yang masih dilakukan secara manual, sehingga menurunkan efisiensi kerja dan mutu biji kopi. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah menyelesaikan masalah petani melalui pembuatan mesin pulper sebagai solusi tepat guna. Metode yang diterapkan meliputi identifikasi masalah melalui survei dan diskusi dengan petani, perencanaan solusi berupa pembuatan mesin pulper, pelaksanaan kegiatan dengan penerapan mesin untuk pengupasan kopi, serta evaluasi efektivitas penggunaan mesin dan kemampuan petani dalam mengoperasikan serta merawatnya. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa mesin pulper dapat mempercepat proses pengupasan kulit kopi tanpa merusak biji, meningkatkan efisiensi dan mutu kopi, serta memberdayakan petani melalui penerapan teknologi tepat guna. Kegiatan ini juga memberikan pengalaman praktis bagi mahasiswa dalam penerapan ilmu teknik di lapangan
Review Literatur : Perkembangan Metode Fermentasi Kimchi
ABSTRAK Kimchi adalah makanan fermentasi khas Korea yang semakin populer di berbagai negara karena manfaat kesehatannya. Proses fermentasi kimchi terus berkembang dari metode tradisional yang mengandalkan mikroba alami, hingga teknik modern yang menggunakan starter bakteri, pengaturan suhu, dan bahan tambahan alami. Tinjauan ini membahas perkembangan metode fermentasi kimchi dan berbagai inovasi terbaru yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan kualitas, rasa, dan umur simpan produk. Hasil kajian juga menunjukkan adanya peluang riset lebih lanjut dalam menggabungkan beberapa teknik modern untuk menciptakan kimchi yang lebih stabil dan disukai konsumen. Kata kunci: kimchi, fermentasi, metode tradisional, teknik modern, inovasi
ABSTRACT
Kimchi is a traditional Korean fermented food that has gained global popularity due to its health benefits. The fermentation process has evolved from traditional methods using natural microbes to modern techniques involving starter cultures, temperature control, and natural additives. This review explores the development of kimchi fermentation methods and recent innovations aimed at improving its quality, taste, and shelf life. The findings also highlight research opportunities to combine multiple modern techniques to produce more stable and consumer-preferred kimchi.

Competitive Advantage Analysis of Mud Crab (Scylla serrata) Commodity Value Chain in Pallime Village and Pusungnge Village, Cenrana District, Bone Regency
Pallime and Pusungnge villages are key production centers for mud crabs, serving both local consumption and export markets. This study aims to assess the competitive advantage of mud crab commodities, focusing on productivity, quality, continuity, and marketable pricing. The research was conducted from May to July 2025 in Pallime and Pusungnge villages. A qualitative method was employed, utilizing both primary and secondary data collection techniques. The results indicate that in the mud crab value chain of Pallime and Pusungnge, four main actors are involved: fishers, farmers, and collectors. Female crabs consistently fetch higher prices than male crabs. The price difference between farmers and collectors to consumers indicates that collectors obtain the highest profit margins within the mud crab distribution chain. Four types of marketing channels were identified: fishers selling directly to consumers, farmers selling directly to consumers, farmers selling to collectors, and collectors selling to traders before the products reach end consumers. A subsequent SWOT analysis identified key strengths, such as supportive mangrove ecosystems; weaknesses, including limited access to modern technology; opportunities, such as domestic and export market demand; and threats, such as environmental degradation. By leveraging strengths and opportunities while addressing weaknesses and threats, the mud crab value chain can be significantly enhanced.Pallime and Pusungnge villages are key production centers for mud crabs, serving both local consumption and export markets. PELATIHAN DAN PENDAMPINGAN PEMBELAJARAN DATABASE TINGKAT LANJUT PADA SMK NEGERI 1 SEMPARUK KABUPATEN SAMBAS
Kegiatan pengabdian ini berfokus pada siswa SMK Negeri 1 Semparuk, khususnya jurusan Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak, yang menghadapi permasalahan signifikan dalam pembelajaran database. Saat ujian Kompetensi Mandiri, teridentifikasi bahwa siswa belum memiliki pengetahuan yang memadai mengenai dasar pembuatan database dan teknik lanjutan seperti penggunaan perintah JOIN, MAX, dan normalisasi serta perintah sql di tingkat lanjut lainnya. Kurangnya pengetahuan ini berdampak pada desain aplikasi yang kurang optimal dan kesalahan dalam perancangan database, yang dapat memperlambat proses penyimpanan data serta memengaruhi kinerja aplikasi. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, pada kegiatan PKM ini akan melaksanakan pelatihan intensif yang mencakup teori dan praktik dalam pembelajaran database, dimulai dengan materi dasar hingga tingkat lanjut, termasuk pemahaman tentang perintah SQL dan teknik normalisasi. Sesi praktik akan diadakan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan database yang efisien, disertai pendampingan berkelanjutan setelah pelatihan untuk memastikan siswa dapat menerapkan pengetahuan dalam proyek nyata. Target luaran yang ingin dicapai meliputi peningkatan keterampilan siswa, yang diukur melalui evaluasi sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan, serta kemampuan mereka dalam merancang aplikasi dengan database yang optimal. Rencana kegiatan mencakup persiapan materi pelatihan dan koordinasi tim PKM Politeknik Negeri Sambas dengan pihak sekolah untuk memperkaya pengalaman belajar siswa. Pelatihan akan dilakukan dalam beberapa sesi, diakhiri dengan diskusi dan tanya jawab, serta evaluasi untuk mengukur dampak dari kegiatan ini. Dengan implementasi kegiatan ini, diharapkan siswa SMK Negeri 1 Semparuk dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan di bidang database, serta siap bersaing di dunia kerja yang semakin kompetitif
KAJIAN PENGENDALIAN PROSES PADA UMKM TAHU PAK SUWARYO KELURAHAN CILACAP, CILACAP SELATAN
Tofu is one of the staple foods of Indonesian people which is rich in protein and as an alternative source of protein to replace fish and eggs. UMKM Tahu Pak Suwaryo located in South Cilacap has been producing tofu traditionally since the 1980s to meet the needs of the local market. The purpose of this study was to analyze the tofu production process and identify non-compliance with the principles of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) applied in the UMKM. The method used was descriptive qualitative through interviews and direct observation at the location. The results of the study showed that there were still various shortcomings in aspects of cleanliness, sanitation, use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and the absence of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in several stages of production. In addition, the use of traditional equipment and minimal maintenance of equipment also have the potential to reduce product quality and safety. Therefore, the implementation of good process control, increasing cleanliness standards, and improving tools and work procedures are very important in order to increase the efficiency, effectiveness, and competitiveness of local tofu products in a sustainable manner. Relationship between fish consumption and nutritional status and learning achievement of vocational high school students in Mejayan Village, Madiun Regency
Vocational High School (SMK) is a secondary school that aims to produce quality human resources for those who are ready to work at a productive age. SMK-level schools are inhabited by teenage children at the age–15-17 years. Teenagers at that age need adequate nutritional intake, both in quality and quantity, for their growth and development, both in terms of health and non-health. Fish is a food ingredient with a variety of health and non-health benefits. The health benefits of fish are in the form of good nutritional status, while in the non-health aspect, it improves cognitive aspects in the form of learning achievements at school. This study aimed to investigate the relationship between fish consumption, nutritional status, and learning achievement among vocational students in Mejayan Village. The study used a cross-sectional design with 177 students, and data were collected through questionnaires, anthropometric measurements of IMT/U, food recall 1 × 24 hours, and report card scores. Data analysis using the Chi-Square method The results showed that the fish consumption level of vocational high school students in Mejayan Village was low at 8.18 kg/capita/year and there was no significant relationship with nutritional status (p=0.911) or learning achievement (p=0.422). The absence of a relationship between the two variables may be due to factors other than fish consumption that influence the results. PENGARUH BIOKOAGULAN DARI KULIT PISANG KEPOK DAN BIJI KELOR TERHADAP KUALITAS LIMBAH CAIR INDUSTRI TAHU
Tofu wastewater contains highly organic compounds such as proteins, fats, and carbohydrates. Without proper treatment, it can cause negative environmental impacts such as groundwater ecosystem disruption, unpleasant odors, and a source of disease. Coagulation-flocculation was one of the methods that could reduce pollutants in wastewater. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of kepok banana peel and moringa seeds as bio-coagulants in tofu wastewater treatment. The research tested various doses of the bio-coagulants from kepok banana peel and moringa seeds, specifically 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 g/L, with a sedimentation time of 24 hours. Bio-coagulant (moringa seed) usage in a dose of 4 g/L has the highest impact on tofu wastewater. Moringa seeds bio-coagulant increased pH to 4.48, turbidity reduction was 90.67%, COD reduction was 75%, and the TSS reduction was 98.02%.

Preliminary modeling of tsunami potential in the Tanimbar Islands
The Tanimbar Islands are an area of high tectonic activity and are part of the outer arc island chain formed by subduction in the Banda zone. The presence of the Sorong Fault and Tanimbar Fault around the Tanimbar Islands also affects the level of vulnerability to earthquakes and tsunami hazards. The purpose of this study was to predict the tsunami potential and affected area of the Tanimbar Islands. The method of analyzing the height data and predicting the affected area used COMCOT v1.7 software. Model simulations were performed on the domain layer by using linear equations. Earthquake and fault parameter data were obtained from the USGS website using historical earthquakes dated January 10, 2023. Bathymetry data were obtained from the GEBO website at a resolution of 15-arcsecond (464 m). The model simulation results show that the initial wave height value marked by the red contour is 0.22 m and the lowest low tide value marked by the blue contour is -0.4 m. Based on these results, the tsunami potential in the Tanimbar Islands is not dangerous, as the potentially affected areas in the study area are Selu Island, Woluaru Island, Wotap Island, and Molu Island, as well as the small islands in the western part. The simulation results demonstrate the importance of research related to tsunami hazards that may occur in the future so that appropriate mitigation can be planned for the existence of small islands around the Tanimbar Islands
PAKET PERJALANAN WILDLIFE TOURISM DESA SEBUBUS KECAMATAN PALOH
Desa Sebubus di Kecamatan Paloh Kabupaten Sambas memiliki sumber daya alam yang sangat potensial untuk dikembangkan sebagai atraksi wisata kehidupan liar (wildlife tourism). Potensi wisata Desa Sebubus saat ini telah didukung dengan berbagai macam fasilitas pendukung seperti akomodasi (penginapan dan homestay) dan pasar yang menjadi pusat perbelanjaan bagi masyarakat dan wisatawan. Desa Sebubus masih belum menyediakan paket wisata yang mengintegrasikan berbagai objek daya tarik wisata serta fasilitas penunjang yang dapat memudahkan wisatawan yang berkunjung ke desa ini. Sehubungan dengan permasalahan tersebut, telah dilaksanakan observasi dan FGD bersama pihak pengelola objek wisata untuk memetakan potensi wildlife tourism di Objek Wisata Batu Bejamban dan Pos Monitoring Penyu Sungai Belacan. Hasil survei menghasilkan informasi berupa potensi atraksi dan aktivitas wildlife tourism yang dapat dikembangkan di kedua objek wisata. Survei juga telah dapat mengumpulkan informasi tentang fasilitas-fasilitas yang tersedia untuk mendukung pengembangan wildlife tourism. Berdasarkan informasi potensi wisata yang telah didapat, dibuat suatu paket wisata wildlife tourism yang terdiri dari perjalanan ke Batu Bejamban, Taman Wisata Alam Tanjung Belimbing, Sungai Mutusan dan Pos Monitoring Penyu Sungai Belacan
SISTEM PENGGAJIAN KARYAWAN UPAYA MENDUKUNG KEPATUHAN DAN EFISIENSI PENGENDALIAN INTERNAL CV AKA BAROKAH
This research aims to analyze the employee payroll system at CV Aka Barokah in supporting compliance and efficiency of internal control. The background of the study highlights the importance of an accountable and efficient payroll system to ensure employee welfare and compliance with labor and tax regulations. This study adopts a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that the payroll system at CV Aka Barokah remains manual, poorly documented, and does not fully meet internal control standards. Challenges include recording work hours, calculating overtime, and the lack of separation of financial duties. However, the company has shown a commitment to improving its payroll system. By implementing an integrated payroll system and strengthening internal control elements such as authorization, documentation, and supervision, CV Aka Barokah can enhance operational efficiency and compliance with applicable regulations.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sistem penggajian karyawan pada CV Aka Barokah dalam mendukung kepatuhan dan efisiensi pengendalian internal. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada pentingnya sistem penggajian yang akuntabel dan efisien untuk menjamin kesejahteraan karyawan serta kepatuhan terhadap regulasi ketenagakerjaan dan perpajakan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem penggajian pada CV Aka Barokah masih bersifat manual, kurang terdokumentasi secara baik dan belum sepenuhnya memenuhi standar pengendalian internal. Beberapa kendala seperti pencatatan jam kerja, perhitungan lembur, serta pemisahan fungsi keuangan menjadi tantangan utama. Namun, perusahaan telah menunjukkan komitmen dalam memperbaiki sistem tersebut. Dengan penerapan sistem penggajian yang terintegrasi dan memperkuat unsur-unsur pengendalian internal seperti otorisasi, dokumentasi, serta pemantauan, CV Aka Barokah dapat meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan kepatuhan terhadap regulasi yang berlaku
