    Applying Method of Grammer and Translation to Develop the Readingskill of Ninth Grade Students at The Islamic Middle School" Tauhidiyah 2" Gondang - Bojonegoro

    Arabic has four language skills. Reading skills (maharah al-qiro'ah) are one of the four skills that are quite difficult for students to master. In this skill, apart from students having to be able to sound out letters and words well, students also have to be able to understand the content of the text they read. To overcome these problems, various efforts are needed in an effective teaching process. The research aimed to improve the reading skills of Class IX students at MTS Tauhidiyah 2 Gondang Bojonegoro using the Qowaid Wa Tarjamah method. The qualitative approach focused on the design, use, management, and evaluation stages. The research revealed that the Qowaid Wa Tarjamah method has both supporting and inhibiting factors. Supporting factors include its ability to help students determine sentence positions and translate them, its detailed nature, its ability to understand grammatical rules, and its ability to improve Arabic language abilities. However, inhibiting factors include a lack of time efficiency in learning, students' understanding of sentence meanings, and the difficulty of grammatical analysis. The study also found that the Qowaid Wa Tarjamah method can be challenging for those who don't understand the language, as it may be more about learning about the language than the language itself. Overall, the research provides valuable insights into implementing the Qowaid Wa Tarjamah method in Arabic language education.Keywords: Qowaid Wa Tarjamah method, qualitative approach, Reading skills

    Arabic Language Learning Strategies for ICP Students of Dirosat Islamiyah Al-Amien Prenduan Institute

     This study aims to identify and analyze Arabic language learning strategies applied to students in the international class program (ICP) at the Al-Amien Prenduan Islamic University Institute. With the increasing need for Arabic language proficiency among international students, it is important to understand the most effective methods and approaches in this educational context. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and document studies. The results of the study indicate that Arabic language learning strategies in ICP involve a combination of communicative approaches, task-based learning, and the use of technology. This approach is designed to improve students' speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills by considering the cultural aspects and social context of the Arabic language. This study also found that the implementation of these strategies was successful in improving students' motivation and Arabic language skills, as well as providing recommendations for further improvements in the learning process. These findings are expected to contribute to the development of more effective Arabic language teaching methods in international class programs

    Integration of Technology in Arabic Language Teaching in Writing and Speaking Skills

    The study uses a mixed approach involving case studies, surveys, and field experiments to gather data and aims to explore the impact of technology integration in Arabic language teaching, in particular on student writing and speaking skills. Through case study, survey and field experiment, it was found that technologies such as language learning applications and AI-based software, make a significant positive contribution to improving student written and spoken skills. Applications like Duolingo and Grammarly have proven effective in improving student writing quality by providing instant feedback and training tailored to individual abilities. Similarly, voice recognition software and speech training apps like Google Speech-to-Text and Rosetta Stone improve student fluency and confidence in speaking. However, challenges such as gaps in access to technology in remote areas and adaptation to new technologies become major obstacles. The results of this study suggest that technology should be used as a supporting tool that complements conventional methods in Arabic language teaching, stressing the need for educational policies that support the integration of technology and the provision of adequate training for students and teacher

    This community service activity aims to foster financial literacy from an early age through the Smart Money Kids program, which focuses on developing thrifty and wise character traits in managing the pocket money of elementary school children. Children's low awareness of the importance of saving and managing finances is a problem that is often encountered in primary education, especially in rural areas. The methods used in this activity included initial observation, interactive counseling, educational games (financial games), and practical guidance on managing pocket money through simple economic simulations. A participatory approach was used to get children actively involved and help them understand the concept of the value of money, needs versus wants, and the importance of saving. The results of the activity showed an increase in children's understanding of basic financial concepts and a change in behavior towards wiser money management. In addition, the involvement of teachers and parents helped reinforce the sustainability of thriftiness in children's daily lives. The Smart Money Kids program proved to be effective as a character-based financial literacy learning model that can be widely implemented in primary education institutions

    One important topic in the Quran is fitnah, which has serious consequences, especially when it comes to someone's reputation. This emphasizes the importance of a proper understanding of the nature of fitnah, especially in the modern era. Although murder is considered a more serious crime in the legal realm, the detrimental effects of fitnah cannot be ignored. This research attempts to uncover the essence of fitnah, often considered trivial compared to murder, based on the perspective of Wahbah al-Zu?ayl? in his interpretation. Misunderstandings when interpreting Quranic verses highlight the importance of historical context, interpretation, and understanding of religious terminology. Referring to exegetes and scholars can help better understand the Quran. Thus, this research aims to delve deeper into Allah's message through the Quran, especially in dealing with fitnah, which is often considered trivial but has profound impacts. Further with the focus of this research, it will at least address two objectives: first, to understand Sheikh Wahbah al-Zuhayli's perspective that fitnah is more severe than murder, and second, to explain the relevance of fitnah being considered more severe than murder to current phenomena, with the hope that society can correctly understand the message conveyed by the researcher. This research uses a literature research method, utilizing sources such as the Quran, hadiths, interpretations, books, journals, and manuscripts related to Quranic verses about fitnah. Sheikh Wahbah Zuhayli's interpretation that fitnah is more severe than murder has strong relevance in the contemporary context. Fitnah, according to his perspective, involves physical threats or torture but encompasses various forms such as social pressure, conflicting ideologies, or worldly temptations. The relevance of this interpretation is evident in the modern context, where fitnah can manifest in various forms such as social pressure, ideological conflicts, and temptations of worldly life. Careful understanding of Quranic verses, along with an understanding of historical context and religious terminology, is a crucial key in facing the challenges of fitnah

    MENGUAK KEARIFAN ISLAM: INTEGRASI-INTERKONEKSI ETIKA BIMBINGAN DAN KONSELING BERLANDASKAN AL-QUR’AN DAN AL-HADITS

    Al-Qur’an dan Al-Hadits merupakan kitab pedoman dalam berperilaku, sumber norma, dan sumber nilai bagi umat Islam dalam berbagai bidang kehidupan. Adapun artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan menganalisis penerapan kearifan Islam dalam etika bimbingan dan konseling melalui integrasi-interkoneksi nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam Al-Qur’an serta Al-Hadits. Bimbingan dan konseling berbasis Islam menawarkan pendekatan moral dan spiritual yang kuat, memberikan dasar yang kokoh bagi praktik konseling yang lebih holistik dan berakar pada nilai-nilai agama Islam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Metode Library research dengan analisis tekstual terhadap ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an dan hadits yang relevan, serta kajian literatur terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai etika dalam Al-Qur’an dan Al-Hadits, seperti keadilan, kesabaran, Rahmat dan kelembutan, dan kerahiman antara sesama muslim dapat diterapkan secara efektif dalam sesi bimbingan dan konseling. Integrasi prinsip-prinsip ini tidak hanya memperkaya proses konseling tetapi juga membantu dalam membangun hubungan yang lebih bermakna antara konselor dan klien. Prinsip-prinsip ini menyediakan kerangka kerja yang kuat untuk menyelesaikan masalah psikologis dan emosional yang dihadapi klien, serta mendukung pengembangan karakter dan kesejahteraan spiritual individu. Etika ini memberikan panduan yang jelas untuk menjaga hubungan konselor-klien yang etis dan bermanfaat. Demikian, pendekatan ini dapat memberi solusi yang komprehensif terhadap permasalahan yang dihadapi, baik secara individu, kelompok, maupun dalam konteks sosial. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pendekatan etika bimbingan dan konseling yang berlandaskan pada kearifan Islam dapat menjadi model yang efektif dan aplikatif dalam konteks kontemporer. Penelitian ini juga mendorong penerapan nilai-nilai Islam dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan sosial, yang pada akhirnya dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan psikologis dan spiritual masyarakat.

The role of product brand image, product quality and pricing has an impact on the growth of PT Surya Mentari Saktindo Gresik fertilizer company, especially in light of the continued promotion of the optimization of marketing through social media as a means of achieving marketing goals. The quantitative research method was selected for this study to enable the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable to be accurately described. The results demonstrate that variable X2 has no positive effect on variable Y, whereas variables X1 and X2 have a significant effect. It can be concluded that the consumer's decision to purchase fertiliser products is based on the impact of brand image and product reliability

    Motivasi Orang Tua Memilih Pondok Pesantren untuk Pendidikan Anak

    Setiap orang apapun status dan bidang pekerjaanya, memerlukan motivasi dari orang lain maupun dari dalam dirinya sendiri. Setiap manusia membutuhkan dorongan positif yang berasal baik dari dalam maupun luar dirinya sehingga bisa menyadari keberadaannya dan segala potensi yang ada pada diri mereka hingga dapat manfaatkan secara maksimal. Dengan motivasi itu, seorang individu bisa bertindak dengan tepat untuk mencapai goalnya dan memiliki semangat yang menggebu-gebu untuk mencapai tujuannya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan motivasi orang tua memilih pondok pesantren untuk pendidikan anak di Dusun Daleman Desa Karduluk Kecamatan Pragaan Kabupaten Sumenep. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif-lapangan dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus karena jenis penelitian ini bersifat menyeluruh dan mendalam. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah data primer (orang tua santri) dan data sekunder (dokumentasi). Prosedur pengumpulan data dalam penelitian yaitu wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dengan beberapa tahapan, yaitu: reduksi data, display data atau penyajian data dan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat motivasi orang tua dilihat dari motivasi intrinsik adalah 1) Agar anak menjadi anak yang sholeh dan sholehah, 2) Agar anak dapat mengetahui ilmu agama yang lebih luas dan bermanfaat untuk bekal dunia maupun di akhirat, 3) Agar anak memiliki karakter yang baik, jujur dan memiliki sopan santun kepada kedua orang tua, 4) Agar anak menjadi mandiri dan 5) Untuk menyelamatkan anak-anak mereka terhindar dari pengaruh negatif dari perkembangan IPTEK. Sementara motivasi ekstrinsik adalah 1) Pondok pesantren yang berjarak cukup terjangkau, 2) Pengaruh dari lingkungan yang bernuansakan tempat pondok pesantren di sekitar lingkungan tempat tinggal dan 3) Pola pendidikan pondok pesantren yang cukup bagus
