Perlindungan Lahan Pertanian Pangan Berkelanjutan dalam Mendukung Pelestarian Subak
In the Government Regulation Number 23 Year 1982 concerning irrigation, in Article 1 (h) it is affirmed the meaning of "Subak", namely as a socio-agrarian customary law community, being religious that has historically grown and developed as an organization in the field of water use at the farm level. Subak cannot be separated from food plantation and agricultural land, "krama subak" and its relationship with the Creator of the universe (the God). Subak in Bali is based on the philosophy of "Tri Hita Karana" which can be seen as a system because subak contains three main components, namely "parhyangan (God), pawongan (man), and palemahan (nature), which are closely related to each other. "Tri Hita Karana" consists of components of human relations with God / creator, human relations with humans, and human relations with their natural environment. In subak irrigation cannot be separated from food cropland, so that sustainable agricultural land will have an impact on subak\u27s sustainability in Bali
Bali dalam Tarikan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan
With the enactment of a global agenda known as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), all local governments must mainstream the environment in various government programs and policies. The mainstreaming is carried out because of the increase in anthropogenic activities which are predicted to have an impact on the existence of development and the environment. The Province of Bali has a variety of traditional wisdom that has significantly contributed greatly to environmental services and the provision of environmental services. However, increasing population growth has the potential to reduce environmental quality because of the excessive exploitation of natural resources without taking into account the sustainability of Bali\u27s natural resource functions that have limitations. Related to this, the sensitivity and alignments of the environment that were patterned in the SDGs from various stakeholders need to be improved in an effort to build togetherness to conduct environmental management holistically.
Partisipasi Generasi Milenial dalam Kancah Politik Nasional 2019
Millennials generations are valuable assets owned by the Indonesian people. The number of generations reaching approximately 35% now makes every politician interested in getting feedback from this generation. The millennial generation currently has a very broad momentum, one of which is in terms of political participation in Indonesia. The activity of this millennial generation is able to change the direction and pace of Indonesian politics towards being identical to this generation\u27s habit. His appearance to be active in political participation today has changed Indonesia\u27s political paradigm a lot. Young figures with very different communication styles compared to their predecessor\u27s style make this millennial generation has its own distinctive characteristics and colors in the Indonesian public sphere. Besides that Indonesia, which is currently entering the gate of industrial revolution 4.0, must certainly adapt to the pace of the era and change the paradigm of a very fast generation especially in 2030 Indonesia will experience a demographic bonus, so that readiness and maturity in the political world for the millennial generation is very important to prepare since early.
Bali Bebas Sampah Plastik (menuju “Clean and Green Island”)
Waste becomes an environmental problem in Bali and requires attention immediately. Plastic waste is the second largest component in waste generation in Bali, which very harmful to health and threatens Bali tourism. Plastic waste production in Bali reaches 268 tons every day and only 29.4% of plastic waste is disposed of to landfills. While 44.5% of plastic waste is not processed so that pollutes the environment especially the river and the sea. The Bali Provincial Government realize the dangers of plastic waste and tried to limit generations by issuing regulations that limit the generation of plastic waste. Due to the regulation, it is expected to reduce the generation of plastic waste up to 60-70% so that it can improve environmental quality and have a positive impact on the quality of life and public health as well as Bali tourism. One important point is that being free from plastic will lead Bali into a clean and green island.
Dilema Demokrasi Elektoral
The practice of democracy is not the same as as its theory. People\u27s sovereignty is often derailed by power-hungry political elites. Even though people in the Reform era are no longer expected to only play a limited role or merely as a giver or renew political legitimacy or as mere objects of political activity. It is worried because the practice of electoral democracy is felt further away from the spirit of democratic principles. There is still widespread behavior that justifies any means that is contrary to the values and principles of democracy, such as: politicization of SARA (suku, agama, ras, antargolongan) or politics of identity, criminalization of political opponents, dissemination of hoaxes, hate speeches, and intimidation, unneutral state apparatus, or election organizers, practices of money politics, sound auction and bribery, document forgery and manipulation of operating procedures. As a result, elected leaders often do not serve the people. All policies taken are often biased in the interests of the ruling elite or the interests of investors, and tend to be very minimal even without involving the people. In the future bad practices should not be continued and should be replaced by a shared commitment to establish substantial democracy by upholding law and justice. Stop the electoral democracy is only a lip-service of a five-year democratic party and must have a real contribution to the improvement of the nation. Electoral democracy must be an arena of healthy competition to get someone who is qualified and able to be a leader in an effort to realize common goals of just prosperity. If it fails to uphold a substantial democracy in everyday political life, then it does not only mean the castration of people\u27s sovereignty or the failure of democracy alone, but the destruction of the Republic of Indonesia will be at stake
“Sad Kertih”: Sastra Agama, Filosofi, dan Aktualisasinya
Sad Kerti is six kertis or kertihs (noble behavior) which consists of atma, samudra, wana, danu, jagat, and jana. It is a Hindu concept that is very basic and meaningful and challenging to realize in reality. The six are the basis of this life. Realizing this, the government of Bali, through the new Governor and the new Deputy Governor, has built a comprehensive plan through the paradigm of "Nangun Sad Kerti Loka Bali" which is full of challenges and hopes to build Bali in the next five years. This qualitative article shows that the sad kerti is relevant to be implemented in the development of contemporary Bali that requires its ecological, social and cultural-religious touch. In this way, the well-being of the Balinese people by birth and mind is believed to be achieved as planned. All parties, both the government, the private sector, and the (Balinese) people are actively involved in working together to make it happen.
Strategi Pemasaran Desa Ubud sebagai Destinasi MICE
The concept of mass tourism has two seasons namely high season and low season to determine the number of tourist visits each year. Therefore the tourism industry tries to conduct a vigorous promotion by carrying out activities that can bring tourists to stay in one tourist destination. One of the activities that entrepreneurs do in the low season is to conduct activities called MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions). This research uses qualitative analysis technique by applying the participatory principle involving MICE stakeholders, destination manager, travel agent managers, and tourists. Ubud Village as a tourist destination which has potential for MICE activities has not had a convention bureau. This is due to the characteristics of the tourists who come to Ubud and the needs required by the tourism industry managers which are different from other tourist destinations in Bali such as Badung regency and Denpasar municipality. During this time, the implementation of activities of MICE is dominated by incentives tourism activities (56.57%), exhibitions (31.72%), and meetings (11.71%). The SWOT results concluded that Ubud Village is still S > W and O ≥ T thus requiring an internal consolidation, but seeing O ≥ T, has potential for further development. Development strategy were using grand strategy which make the results such as growth, dominance, and maximum investment

Bertumbuhnya Penduduk Bali Pasca-Reformasi (1998)
Population is a capital in a development of a country but on the other side, it is also a problem for the development if the population is not well managed. A big amount of population will be potential to provide human resources. Such a big amount will be a great market for the domestic production but it will need the provision of foods, shirts, houses, jobs, and facilities of education, health, etc. This thing happens in Bali because this island is an international popular destination. In the post-reform (reformasi Indonesia), Bali population growth in 1998 has increased. This is caused by several factors, namely: TFR increase, positive net migration, and decreased mortality. There are many potential negative impacts that can arise because of the population problems due to the increase in the rate of growth. Therefore, in development, the population must be paid more attention, because in essence in the development of the population is as the subject and object. The development should be able to improve the welfare of the inhabitants either inborn or in a just and sustainable wa
