Leksikon Perikanan di Danau Diatas
This paper describes the fisheries lexicon in Lake Diatas Alahan Panjang, Lembah Gumanti, Solok. Also, it explains the meaning of lexicon.Methods and techniques for providing data use the SLC method, note-taking technique, and record technique. Data analysis methods and techniques use basic PUP techniques and HBB techniques. It found 50 words and 21 phrases. The description of the meaning relates to the catching equipment and its parts, supporting equipment, and catches. In general, the cultural meaning of the fisheries lexicon in Lake Diatas is prohibitions. Some of the prohibitions are "manunjuak-nunjuak", "mangarensiangi", "takopue", "ka danau di tangah ari", and "bapusa-pusa duo biduak"

Leksikon Aktivitas Pengolahan Gambir di Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota
This article describes the classification and the meaning of the lexicon that exists in gambir processing activities in Lima Puluh Kota District. The theoretical framework used is anthropolinguistics. Methods and techniques for providing data use the SLC method, note-taking technique, and record technique. Methods and data analysis techniques using PUP techniques and HBB techniques.Based on the results of the analysis found lexicon forms of words and phrases. The number of lexicon data found was 72 words and 15 phrases. Also, 34 lexicon data were subjected to morphological processes. As for the grouping of gambier processing activities in Lima Puluh Kota Regency, namely naming parts of fields, opening fields, nurseries, clearing fields, picking gambier leaves, and gambier processing terms

This paper aims to analyze and describe the field of meaning of the word “tajatuahâ€. Data are analyzed using the matching method and the method used.It can be concluded that the words that include the field of meaning of the word “tajatuah†are “tumbang, tagolek, tarambau, taguliang, taserak, tajungkek, tadorong, talapeh, tasungkua, rabah, balambin, taampeh, taambua, badabuak, taduduak, tasanduang, tatungkai, tatunggik , tasialia, tajilapak, tapaleset, tagalincia, tajirangkang, tataruang, tatilantang, tagurajai, tatungkuik, luruah, roboh, rontok, runtuah, tabantiang, tabuang, tacampak, lareh†and “taambuangâ€. It can be concluded, the word “tajatuah†includes the types of lexical meanings, contextual meanings, associative meanings, idiomatic meanings, and proverbs. This article explains the types of greeting words used by Minangkabau people in Ujuang Batuang and how the words are used. The basic technique used in this study is tapping technique, while the advanced technique used in this study is the simak libat cakap (SLC) technique and simak bebas libat cakap (SBLC) technique, continued with note technique.The results found three categories of greeting words used by the Ujuang Batuang community, namely: (1) general greeting words, (2) adat greeting words, and (3) religious greeting words

The extinction of regional languages is a phenomenon that needs to be examined and addressed seriously and wisely. Minangkabau language is also feared to be extinct. The Minangkabau language has undergone a change that occurs in the direction of reducing vocabulary. Classic vocabulary, for example, has been replaced by a new vocabulary and even completely disappeared.This study will specifically find out the kinds of Minangkabau classical texts originating from text edits. Data sources were obtained from the results of research on philology and folklore, namely the edits of manuscripts and folklore documentation. METAFORA PADA DESAIN KAOS PRODUKSI KAPUYUAK DAN KONCO CLOTHING
This article describes the use of metaphoric words of T-shirt design produced by the Kapuyuak and Konco Clothing stores. T-shirts in both stores contain many metaphors about the daily life of Minangkabau people. This study discusses metaphorical forms and functions in the product's design of those two shops. The theory used is the theory of the metaphor form proposed by Stephen Ullman and the theory of functions by Geoffrey Leech.The results show metaphorical forms in the T-shirts design produced by the Kapuyuak and Konco Clothing stores, which are 6 anthropomorphic metaphors, 4 animal metaphors, 7 metaphors from concrete to abstract, and 3 synaesthetic metaphors. Whereas, the functions found are 4 informational functions, 4 expressive functions, 1 directive function, 1 fatigue function, and 10 aesthetic functions.Keywords: metaphor, shirt design, metaphorical form, metaphorical functio
