    Naval Academy Cadets Voyage Introduces National Culture

    As the largest archipelagic country in the world with a strategic position and with having alarge wealth of natural resources, Indonesia constitutes a country that has tremendous allure to other countries that have an interest. In order to manage abundant natural resources, of course it must be supported by good Indonesian human resources. This is in line with the policy of the President of the Republic of Indonesia H. Joko Widodo,that the development of human resources constitutes top priority in his government policy for 2019-2024. This priority also in the navy which has motto Jalesveva Jayamahe (in the sea that we are victorious). In order to generate qualified Indonesian human resources in order to build and maintain the sovereignty of the unitary state of the Republic of Indonesia and to implement government policies and Kasal policies, especially in generating officers, of course it can be realized and determined fundamentally by the educational institution system. Therefore, it is necessary to revise these regulations so that later they will be better and can accommodate changes that occur and eliminate existing problems.     Potential of The Hydroponic Vegetables to Support Food Security in Defense Management Perspective

    In order to support food security, it would be better if the food priority is not only limited to rice, but also supports and optimizes the diversity of technology-based products such as hydroponic vegetables. In Medan City, the hydroponic market was still relatively small. This was seen from the unavailability of hydroponic products sold in various shopping canters. The objective of the study was to identify the internal and external factors in increasing the management of hydroponic vegetables and to formulate the development strategy of hydroponic vegetables in Medan, in order to support food security. The research used a descriptive analytic method by using SWOT, defence management, and food security theory. The samples were taken by using snowball sampling technique. Respondents consisted of several farmers, members of the Hydroponic Community in Medan City (HCM), consumers, officials of the Food Security Agency (BKP) of Medan, and a counsellor from the Agriculture Agency. SWOT matrix analysis of internal and external factors of the Food Security Agency (BKP), Medan showed that the hydroponic vegetables farming development strategy was in quadrant one.     This study’s purpose was to identify : (1) the effect of family environment on employee integrity in OPD Tanah Datar Regency; (2) the effect of school environment on employee integrity in OPD Tanah Datar Regency; (3) the effect of community environment on employee integrity in OPD Tanah Datar Regency; (4) the effect of an environment of family, environment of the school, and environment of the community simultaneously on employee integrity in OPD Tanah Datar Regency. The background of this research was because there were still many employee integrity problems found in the OPD of Tanah Datar Regency. This research type was quantitative research using statistical analysis. The research variable used the independent variable, namely the social environment, while the dependent variable was integrity. This research population was employees at the OPD Tanah Datar Regency. The total sample in the study amounted to 97 employees. The technique for data collection in this research was a questionnaire distributed to respondents through the measurement of the Likert scale. The research analysis uses a multiple linear regression test using SPSS software version 26.0. The research results indicated that: (1) There was a  significant influence of the family environment on the integrity of employees in the OPD of Tanah Datar Regency. (2) There was a  significant influence of the school environment on the integrity of employees in the OPD of Tanah Datar Regency. (3) There was a  significant influence of the environment of the community on the integrity of employees in the OPD of Tanah Datar Regency and (4) There were significant influences of the environments of family, school, and community simultaneously on the integrity of employees in the OPD of Tanah Datar Regency

    The focus of the study was the lifestyle of female students who used makeup, particularly those who used it every day. This study is a descriptive qualitative study, while the sampling technique used is purposive sampling technique with all six informants who are FKIP UNS students and active users of makeup. Then, for data collection techniques that are done by way of interviews and observations. Meanwhile, the purpose of the study was to find out the lifestyle displayed by female students who use makeup. The results of this study include their efforts in meeting their cosmetic needs, the way they shop for cosmetics, as well as then consumptive behaviors that are then displayed in some good habits in the use of time to priority in choosing products. Generally, these students are of the view that makeup is a thing that must be fulfilled.     The Dilemma of Islamic Education and Prostitution Life

    The Minangkabau society is famous for the tradisional philosophy of adat basandi sarak, sarak basandi kitabullah (ABS-SBK). Education and religious values have been passed down from one generation to another. However, it is still not going well. It is seen with the many women who are trapped in negative terms. They are very weak people in the economy and religious education. The goal to be achieved in this study in find out the causes of Minangkabau women who are continually involved in the world prostitution. The focus of this research is the woman in the localization of the goddess Aro, West Sumatera. The method used by researchers is qualitative with case studies in the Andam Dewi. The findings suggest that those involved in prostitution were women aged 17-27 years old because of the economic factors and religious knowledge are very weak.     This study aims to determine village financial management in increasing development in Angkasa Pura Village, Sitinjau Laut District, Kerinci Regency. This research is motivated by several problems such as lack of human resources, people who do not know about the village financial management system, lack of public understanding of village development programs, lack of cooperation and coordination on village development issues whose development goals are to promote and prosper rural communities. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. The informants in this study amounted to 7 people. Techniques and data collection in this study in the form of interviews, observation and documentation. The Unit of Analysis is an individual, social group or institution from the Village Apparatus in Angkasa Pura Village, Sireview Laut District.     Pengelolaan Aset Nagari oleh Anak Nagari untuk Meningkatkan Pendapatan Asli Nagari (PAN)

    This study aimed to explain Nagari Asset Management by Nagari people to increase Nagari Income (PAN) in Nagari Minangkabau, Tanah Datar Regency. The research method used is descriptive quasi qualitative. The results showed that the management of nagari assets by nagari people to increase Nagari Original Income (PAN) in Minangkabau Nagari, Tanah Datar Regency consisted of: (a) Planning of village assets has been implemented properly, (b) The utilization of village assets in Nagari Minangkabau, Tanah Datar Regency has not yet carried out optimally, asset utilization has not been implemented in accordance with the specified asset utilization form, (c) Supervision by the Nagari government and custom density village in asset management carried out by the Nagari people is not maximized. Factors that become obstacles in asset management are: (a) The lack of awareness and participation of village people, (b) Incomplete village asset facilities, one of which is incomplete bath, wash and toilet facilities for public bath visitors, (c) Budget issues due to the rehab of public baths that will be carried out, of course, require large funds, (d) Regulatory problems are that there is no village regulation that regulates the management of nagari assets.     An Error Analysis of Students’ Writing in Narrative Text

    The aimed of the research was to find out the errors which were commonly made by the students of Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Swasta Bustanul Yatama Syamtalira Bayu in their writing narrative text and to find out the causes of errors in their writing narrative text. This research useds a qualitative and quantitative approach. The population of this research was all the students of the Second year students of Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Swasta Bustanul Yatama Syamtalira Bayu in academic year 2020/2021 consisted of 120 students and divided into 56 male students and 64 female students. The sample of this research selected by using random sampling technique by using lottery. In this study, only 20 students and one English teacher involved as the sample. The researcher use two kinds of instruments, they are test and interview. In analyzing the data, the writer used a percentage formula from Sudjana. Result of the research from test most of the first year students of Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Swasta Bustanul Yatama Syamtalira Bayu made many errors in grammatical aspects in writing, a high percentage of errors was found in one out of three categories. The highest error category was tense errors. Moreover, the students felt difficult in getting ideas to begin free writing. The causes of errors were made by the students because of lack of interactive facilities is one of the problems to develop interactive classroom activities.     This study aimed to analyze the effect of competence and integrity on the performance of the village apparatus of Sawahlunto City. This research used quantitative methods with associative descriptive research. This study consisted of two independent variables namely competency (X1) and integrity (X2) and one dependent variable, namely performance (Y). The population of this study was all village apparatus of Sawahlunto City, amounting to 50 people. The sample was obtained through proportional random sampling, so that the respondents in this study amounted to 45 samples. The data analysis technique used was multiple regression. The data were collected through a questionnaire that had been validated and reliable in advance, both the content and the item empirical test in the field. The results of this study have found that: 1) There was an effect of competence on performance by 15.4% with a significance of 0.002; 2) There was an effect of integrity on performance of 20.5% with a significance of 0.001; and 3) There was an effect of competence and integrity simultaneously on performance by 45% with a significance of 0.000.This study aimed to analyze the effect of competence and integrity on the performance of the village apparatus of Sawahlunto City.
