Community Based Tourism Development in Belitung Regency Bangka Belitung Island Province
The purpose of this research was to identify readiness and ways to increase community prosperity in Belitung Regency through the concept of society based tourism development. By the tourism product offered, thus the most appropriate way was promoting the original characters of Belitung Regency community in tourism product development strategy and then developing the development framework, so that tourism activities in Belitung Regency can be a form of sustainable tourism. In order to support the objective, improving the quality of community should be a major concern, so that the community would be able to create tourism products that have competitive and comparative qualities in international market and able to improve and facilitate community potential and tourism potential in Belitung regency to improve the community prosperity which has been relying on the income from mining sector
Leading Public Transportation Drivers In Integrating Traffic Ethics Based on Nation Characters Value at Padang City
This article discussed about the public transportation drivers traffic ethics. It was found that the drivers’ attitude was accessed by societies from its good and bad or right and wrong side. These attitudes were the reflection of drivers’ ethics. It was rarely seen that the public transportation drivers in Padang owned the ethics of Indonesian character such as religious, honest, care, responsible, discipline, and tolerant. As the result, there were some traffic phenomenon in Padang like traffic jam, accident, and violation. Therefore, it was crucial to improve the drivers’ ethic which referred to Nation Character in order to create comfortableness in road traffic. The research result in this article tried to find the solution of the previous problem
Kualitas dan Keberhasilan Lulusan Prodi IAN FIS UNP dalam Mendapatkan Pekerjaan
This study aims to describe the success of Prodi IAN FIS UNP graduates in getting a job and to identify the factors determining the success of the graduates in finding employment. This research was conducted through quantitative and qualitative approaches. Data collected through questionnaires, interviews, and documentation on several private and government agencies in the province of West Sumatra where the alumni of Prodi IAN work. To obtain quantitative data the researchers used a technique of proportional sampling area through the tracer study. As for the qualitative data, the informant has been determined purposively. Qualitative data were analyzed through interactive models of analysis. While quantitative data were analyzed through descriptive statistical analysis in the form of frequency, percentage, and mean. The results of this study, among others, indicate that the sustainability of a study program depends not only on the ability of managers to manage the institution, but should also consider the needs of other stakeholders interested in the study program that is students, alumni, and the workforce
