Interculturalidad en el derecho ecuatoriano
Get PDFThe research examines interculturality in Ecuador, addressing its evolution, challenges and relevance in the national context. Over time, interculturality has been a central theme in public and political debate, highlighting the richness of Ecuador's cultural diversity, but also the potential dangers if it is not adequately managed from within the unity of the country. The text underlines the importance of understanding interculturality and plurinationality as fundamental elements for social cohesion and equitable development. Interculturality in Ecuador has been an ideological and political principle since the 1990s, promoted by the Confederation of Indigenous Nationalities of Ecuador (CONAIE) and formalised in the 2008 Constitution. Despite advances in legislation, practical implementation faces significant challenges due to political and social tensions. The recognition of collective rights and indigenous justice are key aspects in the construction of a plurinational and intercultural state. The role of equality in interculturality is also explored, highlighting the need for processes of interrelation and constant learning between cultures. Training on intercultural issues and the incorporation of ancestral traditions into the judicial system are crucial for effective implementation. Finally, it is concluded that interculturality is vital for a democratic and inclusive society in Ecuador.

El texto subraya la importancia de entender la interculturalidad y plurinacionalidad como elementos fundamentales para la cohesión social y el desarrollo equitativo. La interculturalidad en Ecuador ha sido un principio ideológico y político desde los años 90, impulsado por la Confederación de Nacionalidades Indígenas del Ecuador (CONAIE) y formalizado en la Constitución de 2008. A pesar de los avances en la legislación, la implementación práctica enfrenta desafíos significativos debido a tensiones políticas y sociales. El reconocimiento de derechos colectivos y la justicia indígena son aspectos clave en la construcción de un Estado plurinacional e intercultural. De la misma forma se explora el papel de la igualdad en la interculturalidad, destacando la necesidad de procesos de interrelación y aprendizaje constante entre culturas. La capacitación en temas de interculturalidad y la incorporación de tradiciones ancestrales en el sistema judicial son cruciales para una aplicación efectiva. Finalmente se concluye que la interculturalidad es vital para una sociedad democrática e inclusiva en Ecuador. El compromiso continuo del Estado y la sociedad es necesario para superar barreras y fomentar un diálogo respetuoso entre diferentes culturas. La interculturalidad no solo es un concepto teórico, sino una guía práctica para transformar las relaciones sociales y promover un futuro más justo y equitativo.

La formación profesional: Eje generador de cambio en el mercado laboral y el sistema de educación superior en el Ecuador
Get PDFThe general objective of this research is to highlight the importance of vocational training as a key driver of change in the higher education system in Ecuador. The research seeks to understand how vocational training can significantly improve educational quality, graduate employability, and the country's competitiveness on an international level. The research was based on a mixed methodology that combined grounded theory and documentary analysis. Grounded theory allowed for the generation of a conceptual framework from the collected data, while documentary analysis complemented and contrasted the findings. An exhaustive literature review was conducted using high-impact academic databases such as Scopus, SciELO, and Latindex. Institutional and governmental documentary repositories were accessed to obtain relevant reports and statistics. A series of scientific documents providing information on educational policies, vocational training programmes, case studies, and employability statistics were analysed. Vocational training in higher education in Ecuador is essential for improving employability and preparing graduates for the labour market. The results indicate that vocational training programmes are highly valued and effective but face significant challenges in their implementation.

La investigación busca comprender cómo la formación profesional puede impulsar mejoras significativas en la calidad educativa, la empleabilidad de los graduados y la competitividad del país en el ámbito internacional. La investigación se basó en una metodología mixta que combinó la teoría fundamentada y el análisis documental. La teoría fundamentada permitió generar un marco conceptual a partir de los datos recopilados, mientras que el análisis documental complementó y contrastó los hallazgos. Se realizó una revisión exhaustiva de la literatura utilizando bases de datos académicas de alto impacto como Scopus, SciELO y Latindex. Se accedió a repositorios documentales institucionales y gubernamentales para obtener informes y estadísticas pertinentes. Se analizaron una serie de documentos científicos que ofrecieron información sobre políticas educativas, programas de formación profesional, estudios de caso y estadísticas de empleabilidad. La formación profesional en la educación superior en Ecuador es esencial para mejorar la empleabilidad y la preparación de los graduados para el mercado laboral. Los resultados indican que los programas de formación profesional son altamente valorados y efectivos, pero enfrentan desafíos significativos en su implementación.

Validación de Tablero Didáctico para Enseñanza de Domótica con Alexa en Tecnología Superior en Electricidad
Get PDFHome automation has emerged as a crucial discipline in the automation and intelligent management of homes and buildings. The addition of devices such as Alexa, along with programmed switches, spotlights, and plugs, offers an ideal platform for hands-on home automation teaching. This article explores the design, construction, and educational applications of a didactic board for the teaching of home automation at the Instituto Technologic Superior Simón Bolívar in Guayaquil. The article is developed on three practical applications for configuring the uses of Amazon Alexa in its Amazon Echo version, such as: connecting to Google Home, controlling the lighting system, the music that is listened to, viewing CCTV cameras and controlling equipment for daily use all by voice, presented in a learning environment, for the degree project to be a learning guide for ISTSB students, presenting a solution through the development of a teaching prototype of a home automation system based on Amazon Echo and IoT application, integrating virtual assistants such as Amazon Alexa and devices oriented to control in an educational and didactic way. In the proposal, Alexa is programmed in three diverse ways, controlling elements connected to the Internet such as lights, electrical outlets and CCTV cameras. The architecture part of the board is based on a model that has worked and that we improved in this desk-type development.

Este artículo explora el diseño, la construcción y las aplicaciones educativas de un tablero didáctico para la enseñanza de domótica en el Instituto Tecnológico Superior Simón Bolívar en Guayaquil. Port tanto se desarrolla el artículo sobre tres aplicaciones prácticas de configuración de los usos de Amazon Alexa en su versión Amazon Echo, como son: conectarse a Google Home, controlar el sistema de iluminación, la música que se escucha, ver las cámaras de CCTV y control de equipos de uso diario todo por voz, presentado en un ambiente de aprendizaje, para que el trabajo de titulación sea una guía de aprendizaje, para los estudiantes de ISTSB, presentando una solución a través del desarrollo de un prototipo de enseñanza de un sistema domótico basado en Amazon Echo y aplicación del IoT (Internet of Things), integrando asistentes virtuales como Amazon Alexa y dispositivos orientados al control de modo educacional y didáctico. En la propuesta se programa Alexa de tres formas diferentes controlando elementos conectados a Internet como son luces, tomacorrientes y cámaras CCTV. La parte de la arquitectura del tablero se basa en un modelo que ha funcionado y que mejoramos en este desarrollo tipo tablero pupitre de trabajo.

Impacto de la formación continua de educadores de educación inicial en la calidad educativa y el desarrollo infantil
Get PDFThe main objective of the research was to determine the perception of educators about the effectiveness of continuing training programs in improving their educational practice. Surveys were used with 63 early education teachers who had gone through a period of courses and training during the last six months of 2023. This evaluation would confirm the need for the investment study center in this activity. The results show a significant positive correlation (0.647, p=0.000) between continuous training and the perception of effectiveness among early education educators. Most respondents indicated high levels of agreement on the dimensions of quality of instructors, resources and materials, overall satisfaction, and impact on teaching practice. These findings are consistent with previous studies that highlight the importance of comprehensive and relevant educational approaches. The most important conclusion is that well-designed and contextualized continuous training significantly improves the perception of effectiveness among educators. To maximize their impact, it is crucial to continue to adjust these programs to address the specific needs and contexts of teachers, thus ensuring high-quality initial education and ongoing professional development.

Se utilizaron encuestas a 63 docentes de educación inicial que habría pasado por un período cursos y capacitaciones durante los seis últimos meses del 2023. Esta evaluación confirmaría la necesidad del centro de estudios en inversión en esta actividad. Los resultados muestran una correlación positiva significativa (0.647, p=0.000) entre la formación continua y la percepción de efectividad entre los educadores de educación inicial. La mayoría de los encuestados indicó altos niveles de acuerdo en las dimensiones de calidad de los instructores, recursos y materiales, satisfacción general, y el impacto en la práctica docente. Estos hallazgos coinciden con estudios previos que destacan la importancia de enfoques educativos integrales y relevantes. La conclusión más importante fie que la formación continua bien diseñada y contextualizada mejora significativamente la percepción de efectividad entre los educadores. Para maximizar su impacto, es crucial seguir ajustando estos programas para abordar las necesidades y contextos específicos de los docentes, asegurando así una educación inicial de alta calidad y un desarrollo profesional continuo.

Gestión de proyectos en el desarrollo de habilidades blandas en estudiantes de la Educación Superior

Through an exhaustive literature review, the growing importance of these competencies in professional and academic settings is explored. The study employs qualitative methods, including historical-logical analysis, analysis-synthesis, and induction-deduction, to examine the evolution and impact of project management on the development of skills such as leadership, effective communication, and problem-solving. The results reveal that integrating these methodologies into academic programs not only enhances students' comprehensive training but also increases their competitiveness in the global job market. Significant challenges are identified in terms of resources, teacher training, and curricular adaptation. The research concludes that the implementation of project management is a viable and effective strategy for developing soft skills in Ecuadorian higher education, although more empirical research is needed to evaluate its long-term impact. This approach responds to current job market demands and prepares students to face the challenges of a dynamic and globalized professional environment.

Mediante una revisión exhaustiva de la literatura, se explora la creciente importancia de estas competencias en el ámbito profesional y académico. El estudio emplea métodos cualitativos, incluyendo análisis histórico-lógico, análisis-síntesis e inducción-deducción, para examinar la evolución y el impacto de la gestión de proyectos en el desarrollo de habilidades como liderazgo, comunicación efectiva y resolución de problemas. Los resultados revelan que la integración de estas metodologías en los programas académicos no solo mejora la formación integral de los estudiantes, sino que también aumenta su competitividad en el mercado laboral global. Se identifican desafíos significativos en términos de recursos, capacitación docente y adaptación curricular. La investigación concluye que la implementación de la gestión de proyectos es una estrategia viable y efectiva para desarrollar habilidades blandas en la educación superior ecuatoriana, aunque se requiere más investigación empírica para evaluar su impacto a largo plazo. Este enfoque responde a las demandas del mercado laboral actual y prepara a los estudiantes para enfrentar los retos de un entorno profesional dinámico y globalizado.

La vinculación con la sociedad y el nivel socioeconómico de las Asociaciones AGROVIDA y PALMITAL
Get PDFThe present linking work had the problem of deducing the socioeconomic level that exists within the associations and how their income has been carried out to be able to subsist consequently, its main objective is to strengthen the economic sectors of the southern area of Manabí as a promotion of development local and in turn analyze the socioeconomic level that exists within the Anegado, thus allowing a significant contribution with knowledge and ideas based on strategies to improve the economy of the inhabitants of said commune. The type of methodology used to carry out this research project was Qualitative-Quantitative, which allowed obtaining information through statistical data. The methods used in the research project were direct, descriptive, explanatory and experimental observation. As well as the techniques that were used for the collection of information and thus determine the feasibility of the project were the surveys which will be directed to the members of the Aso. AGROVIDA and PALMITAL. The research project concludes with the realization of the study developed in the Anegado parish, allowing to diagnose which are the activities they carry out for underdevelopment at an economic level and their incidences within it and thus with said project carry out training as a strategic plan to improve the economy.

El tipo de metodología utilizada para llevar a cabo este proyecto de investigación fue Cualitativo-Cuantitativo el cual permitió obtener información por medio de datos estadísticos. Los métodos utilizados en el proyecto de investigación fueron observación directa, descriptiva, explicativa y experimental. Así como las técnicas que se utilizaron para la recolección de información y así determinar la factibilidad del proyecto fueron las encuestas la cual serán dirigidas a los socios de la Aso. AGROVIDA y PALMITAL. El proyecto de investigación concluye con la realización del estudio desarrollado en la parroquia el Anegado, permitiendo diagnosticar cuales son las actividades que ejecutan para el subdesarrollo a nivel económico y sus incidencias dentro del mismo y así con dicho proyecto realizar capacitaciones como un plan estratégico para mejorar la economía.

Relación de la oferta de servicios para la atención odontológica y las adaptaciones frente a la pandemia por covid 19, Arequipa 2023
Get PDFThe COVID-19 pandemic has created significant challenges in the provision of health services, including dentistry. In Arequipa, private dental offices have had to adapt quickly to continue operating, implementing various modifications to their infrastructure and organization. This study, carried out in 2023, focused on analyzing the relationship between the characteristics of the services offered by these offices and the adaptations they implemented to deal with the pandemic. A cross-sectional, prospective, and correlational study was carried out with a representative sample of 104 dental services. The results show that most of the offices were between 6 and 10 years old, located on avenues, and staffed by female dental surgeons between 30 and 39 years old. The adaptations included the expansion of rooms, the creation of disinfection areas, and changes in waste disposal. However, a statistically significant relationship was only found between the type of dental service and modifications in the waiting room (p = 0.016), while other organizational changes did not show a significant correlation. These findings highlight the importance of the adaptability of the dental sector in the face of global health crises.

En Arequipa, los consultorios odontológicos privados han tenido que adaptarse rápidamente para continuar operando, implementando diversas modificaciones en su infraestructura y organización. Este estudio, realizado en 2023, se centró en analizar la relación entre las características de la oferta de estos consultorios y las adaptaciones que implementaron para enfrentar la pandemia. Se realizó un estudio transversal, prospectivo y correlacional con una muestra representativa de 104 servicios odontológicos. Los resultados muestran que la mayoría de los consultorios tenían entre 6 y 10 años de antigüedad, ubicados en avenidas, y atendidos por cirujanos dentistas mujeres entre 30 y 39 años. Las adaptaciones incluyeron la ampliación de ambientes, creación de áreas de desinfección y cambios en la disposición de residuos. Sin embargo, solo se encontró una relación estadísticamente significativa entre el tipo de servicio odontológico y las modificaciones en la sala de espera (p = 0.016), mientras que otros cambios organizacionales no mostraron una correlación significativa. Estos hallazgos destacan la importancia de la capacidad de adaptación del sector odontológico frente a crisis sanitarias globales.

Promoción turística digital de la Comuna Joa, Jipijapa
Get PDFDigital marketing strategies center around leveraging technology to promote tourist destinations, aiming to attract customers by engaging with them through various digital media channels. The objective of this research is to formulate a digital marketing strategy for tourism promotion of the Joa Tourism Facilities Center. The methodology applied has a quantitative approach. The results show the preferences of tourists when researching new destinations and the need to have a website to connect with the public. It is concluded that digital marketing strategies have emerged as the most effective promotion channels, given their rapid growth in the contemporary landscape. Therefore, adopting these tools becomes pivotal to entering the digital era and successfully promoting tourism at the Joa Tourism Facilities Center. In conclusion, a recommendation is made for the implementation of a dedicated website for tourism promotion purposes for the said location.

El objetivo de esta investigación se centra en diseñar una estrategia de marketing digital para la promoción del Centro de Facilidades Turísticas (CFT) Joa. La metodología aplicada tiene un enfoque cuantitativo. Los resultados muestran las preferencias de los turistas al momento de investigar sobre nuevos destinos y la necesidad de contar con sitio web para poder conectar con el público. Se concluye que las estrategias de marketing digital se han posicionado como los mejores canales de promoción turística, al ser herramientas con un crecimiento vertiginoso en la actualidad, por lo que contar ellas permitirá entrar en la era digital logrando promover el turismo en el CFT Joa. Finalmente se propone la implementación de una página web con fines de promoción turística para el lugar.

Aplicación de Guía de Estrategias para Estimular el Lenguaje en Niños de 2 a 3 Años
Get PDFThe present study focused on the application of the "Guide of Strategies to Stimulate Language in Children Aged 2 to 3 Years from the Jaime Roldós Center" in the Child Development Centers (CDI) and Growing Up with Our Children (CNH) programs: Nuestra Señora Del Carmen, Santa Narcisa, and Caritas Felices Del Norte in the province of Guayas. The objective was to assess the effectiveness of this strategy guide by analyzing how it works in practice to offer educators activities that they can easily integrate into their planning, considering the various knowledge updates that allowed adapting the activities to different natural or academic contexts. It is important to mention that this study used the strategies presented in the guide to improve language in children, serving as a useful tool for teachers and favoring the learning and integral development of children in their early educational stages. The guide was also evaluated for its capacity to be effectively integrated into educational planning, aiming to improve current teaching methods. Additionally, the study highlighted how the guide can be a valuable resource for promoting parental interaction and engagement in the educational process, thus strengthening the bond between home and school and ensuring continuity in language stimulation strategies. The implementation of these strategies allowed for significant progress in the oral language development of the children, demonstrating the importance of having updated and effective pedagogical tools. Keywords: Strategy guide, Language, Child development, Stimulation, Learning.El presente estudio se concentró en la aplicación de la "Guía de estrategias para estimular el lenguaje de los niños de 2 a 3 años del centro Jaime Roldós" en los centros de Desarrollo Infantil (CDI) y Creciendo con Nuestros Hijos (CNH): Nuestra Señora Del Carmen, Santa Narcisa y Caritas Felices Del Norte de la provincia del Guayas. El objetivo fue valorar la efectividad de esta guía de estrategias analizando cómo funciona en la práctica para ofrecer a las educadoras actividades que puedan integrar fácilmente en su planificación, considerando, las diferentes actualizaciones del conocimiento que permitieron adaptar las actividades a los diversos contextos naturales o académicos. Es importante mencionar que este estudio utilizó las estrategias presentadas en la guía para mejorar el lenguaje en los niños, siendo un instrumento útil para los docentes, favoreciendo al aprendizaje y desarrollo integral de los niños en sus primeras etapas educativas. La guía también fue evaluada por su capacidad de integración efectiva en la planificación educativa, buscando mejorar los métodos de enseñanza actuales. Además, se destacó cómo la guía puede ser un recurso valioso para promover la interacción y el compromiso de los padres en el proceso educativo, fortaleciendo así el vínculo entre el hogar y el centro educativo, y asegurando una continuidad en las estrategias de estimulación del lenguaje. La implementación de estas estrategias permitió observar un avance significativo en el desarrollo del lenguaje oral de los niños, evidenciando la importancia de contar con herramientas pedagógicas actualizadas y efectivas. Big Data analytics has revolutionized information technology (IT), making it possible to manage large volumes of data from diverse sources and in real time. This article addresses three key areas: the fundamentals of Big Data in IT, the tools and techniques for its analysis, and the impact on strategic decision making. Advances in infrastructure, such as Hadoop and Apache Spark, along with machine learning algorithms, have optimized the management of unstructured data, improving operational processes and providing a competitive advantage to organizations. The effective use of Big Data has allowed companies to personalize services, anticipate market behaviors, and improve operational efficiency. However, challenges related to data integration and quality persist, which must be addressed to maximize its potential. This article explores how Big Data has influenced business strategy and technological development within the IT field.

Este artículo aborda tres áreas clave: los fundamentos del Big Data en las TI, las herramientas y técnicas para su análisis, y el impacto en la toma de decisiones estratégicas. Los avances en infraestructura, como Hadoop y Apache Spark, junto con algoritmos de aprendizaje automático, han optimizado la gestión de datos no estructurados, mejorando los procesos operativos y proporcionando una ventaja competitiva a las organizaciones. El uso eficaz de Big Data ha permitido a las empresas personalizar servicios, anticipar comportamientos del mercado y mejorar la eficiencia operativa. Sin embargo, persisten desafíos relacionados con la integración y calidad de los datos, que deben ser abordados para maximizar su potencial. Este artículo explora cómo el Big Data ha influido en la estrategia empresarial y el desarrollo tecnológico dentro del ámbito de las TI.
