Current Situation and Reflections of Environmental Accounting Information Disclosure in China's Iron and Steel Industry under the Background of "Double Carbon"
China plans to reach peak carbon use by 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality by 2060. This "double carbon" target makes the iron and steel industry, a high-consumption, heavy-polluting, energy-intensive industry, face great challenges. In order to achieve green transformation and promote sustainable development, the iron and steel industry, as a national pillar industry, should raise awareness of environmental protection, increase environmental accounting information disclosure, and improve the level of environmental accounting information disclosure. This paper discusses the current situation of environmental accounting information disclosure in the iron and steel industry, summarizes the current problems of environmental accounting information disclosure in the iron and steel industry, and proposes countermeasures to solve them. It is found that the iron and steel industry currently has problems such as low initiative of environmental information disclosure, less disclosure of negative information, scattered disclosure information, non-uniform disclosure carriers, etc. It is recommended to accelerate the construction of the environmental accounting disclosure system and regulations, improve and standardize the environmental accounting information disclosure system, strengthen the construction of third-party audit, improve the awareness of environmental information disclosure of enterprises, and standardize the environmental accounting information disclosure from both national and enterprise levels Content
The Meaning and Expression of Wabi-Sabi in Environmental Art Design
In recent years, Wabi-Sabi style has become popular in China's design industry. It is widely used in space design of home stay, catering, hotel and landscape. The reason for its popularity is that it is a combination of man, nature and artificial environment. This paper aims to explore on the interaction and symbiosis between environment and human in materialized representation and spiritual connotation in contemporary environmental art design by exploring the origin, concept, expression and aesthetic philosophy of Japanese Wabi-Sabi. The emphasis on "Wabi-Sabi" style design which is simple rather than dull is not only the the decoration and beautification of the environment, but also represents the the beauty of nothing after the denial of the universal concept of the beauty. Wabi-Sabi is not only a design style, but also the aesthetic cognition of the objective existence of the natural material world
Management Of Aspergillus Leaf Spot Diseases on Terminalia Catappa In Sokoto, Nigeria
Research on the diseased leaves of Terminalia catappa (tropical almond) was conducted in Usmanu Danfodiyo University Permanent site, Wammako local government, Sokoto. The locations where the diseased leaves were collected, purposively selected because of the abundance of the tree species in those locations. The objective was to identify fungal foliar diseases associated with Terminalia catappa and then develop control measures of the pathogen. Diseased leaves were collected and taken to the department of biological sciences, Mycology laboratory, Botany unit, Usmanu Danfodiyo University for identification. Aspergillus niger, Aspergillus ustus and, Aspergillus flavus were the fungal pathogens identified and suspected to be the cause of the foliar diseases on the tree species. Suncozeb, a broad-spectrum fungicide was obtained for the management of these diseases. The chemical was applied at different concentration rates (50%, 100% and, 150%) and the zones of inhibitions were observed and measured. It was observed that the higher the concentration the higher the zones of inhibition; this was the case for all the organisms identified. Past research showed that high temperature makes this species prone to soil-borne pathogens and this is the case with the study area of this research. As part of the recommendation, since it was observed that 150% of Suncozeb clearly inhibited the growth of the pathogen to a certain level, a higher concentration of this same chemical will increase the inhibition zone and possibly bring a complete stoppage of the pathogen spread
Evaluation of Information and Public Awareness Programme of MNRE in India
The Information & Public Awareness (I&PA) Programme of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has been existing since the inception of the Ministry in 1992. The programme is being implemented as a central sector scheme with full funding from the central budget. The Ministry uses variety of media like electronic, print and outdoor publicity through exhibitions, bus panels, hoardings, kiosks, paintings and other outdoor media activities for popularization of new and renewable energy systems and devices throughout the country. The Ministry participates in different Districts, States and National level exhibitions mainly through State Nodal Agencies (SNAs). With the analytical frame of reference, the study has taken into account mixed approaches to suitably take the feedback of stakeholders. In the study, the purpose was to analyze the progress of programme at all India level. Accordingly, data and information were collected through survey method and participatory discussion with target groups i.e. rural women, farmers (solar pumps), rooftop solar users, other sources of renewables, etc. There were several meetings with renewable energy beneficiaries/potential users and agencies created at State/district level to implement ministry’s scheme. Both quantitative and qualitative information have been garnered. The evaluation study attempts to assess the impact of I&PA and to identify specific bottlenecks in implementation and optimum levels of support needed for effective implementation. It is found that the implementation of I&PA Programme is meeting the desired objectives. Awareness about the scheme is found among the state governments and public in the field. Thus, the scheme has largely been effective in the promotion of renewable energy, in its overarching objectives

This research is a survey-based descriptive analysis to explore the effects of COVID-19 lockdown on the thinking pattern and emotional behavior of students of Central University of South Bihar, Gaya. Using snowball sampling a Google survey form was used to collect the data. This form consists of 21 items regarding the emotional, social and psychological aspect of students during the COVID-19 lockdown. Maximum items are to be answered in Yes or No and some items are given another option can’t say. Total 243 dully filled responses were received. There were 134 males and 109 females who participated in the online survey. Results reveal that maximum students were found worried and anxious about their study and Corona spread. They were feeling panic due to the regular increasing number of Corona infections. This long duration COVID-19 lockdown affected the thinking pattern of students. A Reflection on a Competency-Based Pedagogical Process Using Simulation: Tourism
This manuscript is an instructor’s reflection of the use of a simulation-based pedagogical technique to improve instruction. The content was a facility planning, design, and management course in a Tourism program. The results indicate that a simulation-based instructional strategy helps to improve the student’s perspective by adding a way of applying the information in the course. The sequencing placement of the simulation does not have a large effect upon the outcomes of the cours
