Conceptual Framework and Intervention Principles of Psychological Resilience
Get PDFTo improve the operationalization and targeting of interventions, psychological resilience requires a integrated explanatory framework as well as clear intervention principles which fit specific cultural contexts. The study outlines four waves of psychological resilience research, arguing that psychological resilience is both an ability to cope with adversity that all people have and a process of immunization, rebound and growth with distinct individual characteristics and different ecological levels that can be unified in a multi-level, multi-dimensional framework. Psychological resilience interventions should follow the principles of individualization, localization, multisystem integration, developmental appropriateness, and evidence-based practice
Application Effect of Four-Subjects and Four-Dimensions Evaluation System in the Classroom Teaching of Geriatric Nursing
Get PDFGeriatric nursing is the main course for cultivating elderly nursing talents. The teaching quality of geriatric nursing is the key element of training elderly nursing talents. Therefore, it is of great significance to improve the classroom teaching quality of geriatric nursing. The purpose of this study is to construct a four-subject and four-dimension evaluation system and explore its application effect in geriatric nursing teaching. From February 2022 to July 2022, an experimental study was conducted on 185 sophomore nursing students from Zaozhuang Vocational College. The experimental group adopted the four-subject and four-dimension evaluation system, while the control group adopted the summative evaluation method. The study found that the scores of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group (P<0.05). In addition, the academic evaluation of the experimental group was significantly improved (P<0.05). The results show that the application of four subjects and four dimensions evaluation system in geriatric nursing teaching is conducive to improving students' learning effect and comprehensive ability
A Study on the Application of Blended Teaching Model in Integrated English Courses
Get PDFSince the beginning of the 21st century, blended learning has attracted the attention of scholars. With the influence of the epidemic in the past three years, it is imperative to explore how to apply blended learning to stimulate the impact of the integration of online and offline education in order to achieve the ultimate goal of promoting students’ development. In the foreign language departments of universities in ethnic areas of China, it is significant to conduct teaching practice of the blended teaching model for the course of Integrated English, which occupies a large proportion of the English major curriculum and plays a pivotal role in improving English majors’ language proficiency and cultural literacy. This paper explains the exploration of the blended teaching model in Integrated English in one Chinese independent college in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region from two perspectives: the overall design and the analysis of the application of Integrated English I and II. This study collected data from questionnaires, interviews, and teachers’ logs in order to investigate the effect of Integrated English based on the blended teaching model. The analysis of the results indicates that the application of the blended teaching model in Integrated English I and II is conducive to cultivating students’ learning habits, improving their language skills, learning ability, and cultural awareness

The online exhibition was held online from June 15 to 24, 2020.The purpose of this study is to study the relationship between customer satisfaction, preference, and re-visit based on the case of online exhibition at Guangzhou Fair. According to the research results, how to improve the quality of online exhibition service to meet the needs of customers in the future. In this study, SPSS 23.0 is used to verify the validity of the data, AMOS 24.0 is used to model the structural equations of the variables and to verify the relationship between the variables
A study on the Necessity and Feasibility of Sports Clubs at Hubei Enshi College College
Get PDFIn recent years, the Chinese government has issued a series of documents, including the National Guideline for Teaching Physical Education Courses in Ordinary Higher Education Schools, the Basic Standards for Physical Education Work in Higher Education Schools, and the Opinions of the General Office of the State Council on Strengthening School Physical Education for the Overall Development of Students' Physical and Mental Health. In response to these documents, colleges and universities in China have been actively promoting sports reform initiatives. This study uses literature review, Delphi method, and mathematical statistics to investigate the current situation of sports development on the campus of Hubei Enshi College, and to analyze the necessity and feasibility of sports clubbased teaching. Specifically, the study focuses on the development of sports clubs at Hubei Enshi College, and examines the challenges and opportunities for reform. The study finds that the development of sports clubs at Hubei Enshi College lacks an efficient and complete organizational and management framework, and that the current teaching situation faces the dilemma of "one size fits all". In addition, the study identifies the lack of integration of teaching resources between the first and second classes, and the lack of branding effect of campus sports culture. The study concludes by providing feasible suggestions for the optimal development of sports clubs at Hubei Enshi College, in line with the university's educational philosophy of "establishing moral education, teaching students according to theirabilities, and applying learning to practice"

Get PDFSan Zi Jing, with short form, pleasing rhythm and profound significance, is a well-known and representative classic among ancient enlightenment children’s books in traditional Chinese society. The core of Translation as Adaptation and Selection is the translator’s adaptation to the translational eco-environment of the original text and the translator’s selection of the translational eco-environment of the translated text. This paper analyzes three translators’ different adaptations and selections by comparing three chosen English translated texts of San Zi Jing from the perspective of linguistic dimension, namely phonology, vocabulary and syntactical structure. It helps to have a better understanding for production of the three different versions for readers and arouses the attention on the ideational level of language in the process of Chinese classics translation
Status and Countermeasures of Art Education in Primary and Secondary Schools in Ethnic Minority Areas
Get PDFFine art is a crucial discipline within the field of aesthetics, and fine art education serves as a significant component of aesthetic education. It holds great importance in providing a comprehensive education and fostering the holistic development and well-being of primary and secondary school students. The deficiency in fine art education within primary and secondary schools located in ethnic minority areas necessitates that teachers acknowledge these gaps, analyze their underlying causes, and explore effective measures to promote its development. Revitalizing fine art education is both the mission and responsibility of schools and teachers, as well as a shared aspiration of all sectors of society. In order to achieve this, teachers must enhance their ideological awareness, innovate institutional mechanisms, foster integration and collaboration, and prioritize and strengthen fine art education. Furthermore, it is essential to identify gaps, address deficiencies, increase investment in education, and expand access to high-quality resources. Leveraging the cultural characteristics of ethnic minorities, schools should develop curriculum that is tailored to their specific needs. Additionally, efforts should be made to enrich the teaching force and elevate teaching standards, including forging partnerships with local universities to enhance the professionalism of fine art teachers and strengthen the collective capacity.This study focuses on the current state of fine art education in primary and secondary schools within the Enshi Grand Canyon Scenic Area Administration in Enshi City, Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Hubei Province. By utilizing interviews and documentary analysis, the author examines and dissects a primary and secondary school located in a remote town. A Study on the Creative Approach of Luo Zhenyu's Oracle Bone Calligraphy
Get PDFIn the history of Chinese culture, the oracle bone script, along with the Dunhuang documents, the Han jian of the Western region, and the Great Treasury of the Cabinet, are known as the four major discoveries of the twentieth century. The oracle bone script has a history of more than 3,000 years. In the field of philology and archaeology, its appearance has brought original materials for the examination of the origin of Chinese characters; in the field of art, its appearance is a great asset for the study of oracle bone script calligraphy. From the dimension of the study of the history of calligraphy, the oracle bone script already possesses the three basic elements of calligraphy: the brush, the knotted character, and the chapter, and is the earliest system of writing with a more mature system and aesthetic nature in the development of Chinese writing. From the perspective of the pen, the oracle bone script was carved with a knife on hard turtle shells or animal bones, so the lines of the script are mainly straight lines of uniform thickness, showing a slightly thicker middle and slightly thinner ends, showing the aesthetic characteristics of thinness and solidity, uprightness and sharpness, giving people a strong three-dimensional sense and visual impact. Special Vocabulary Learning Difficulties for EFL Students with Chinese Backgrounds
Get PDFThis paper discussed three important factors related to the special difficulties of EFL learners: coursebooks, language distance, and teachers. EFL students' vocabulary input sources lack real context and socio-cultural context of target language. At this point, efforts cannot be focused on creating a real context for them, which is unrealistic, but to find special methods based on the special difficulties of EFL. For EFL learners, coursebooks, as one of the numerous learning resources, have become the most important way for them to input language. This should be the starting point for finding EFL learners' difficulties and solving them. In addition, the large language distance between Chinese and English causes students to encounter certain difficulties in learning the target language. For the issue of contrasting the differences between NEST and non-NEST, which has been extensively studied, this paper proposed that the focus of researchers should be on providing effective vocabulary learning strategies for EFL students, rather than contrasting the two of them. According to the "Learning Burden of a Word " proposed by Nation, this paper lastly stated the strengths and weaknesses of EFL coursebooks. After analysis, the strengths of the textbook are that most textbooks provide pronunciation, all textbooks provide written form, but provide contextual meaning. Racial Discrimination in Uncle Tom's Cabin and the "Black Lives Matter" Movement
Get PDF Uncle Tom's Cabin and the "Black Lives Matter" movement are two different themes, but both are related to racial discrimination. For the novel, it depicts the story of a slave named Tom, and describes the pain and inequality brought about by the slavery through the experience of Tom and other characters. This novel caused great repercussions around the American Civil War, helped to promote the struggle against the slavery, and became one of the classics of world literature. While the "Black Lives Matter" movement advocates for equality, justice, and the elimination of violence and discrimination against the black people. The focus of this movement is to protest against violent or arbitrary actions against African Americans, such as illegal arrests, excessive use of force, or intentional killings. Although these two themes emerged in different historical and cultural periods, they share a common goal of opposing racial discrimination and pursuing equality and justice. Moreover, in the current era, the "Black Lives Matter" movement is more diverse and inclusive compared to past movements. By publishing anti-racial discrimination information on media and social media, and organizing, more people are involved in the fight against discrimination. They are all aimed at opposing and eliminating racial discrimination, and promoting the construction of a more equal, diverse, and just society. Due to different historical backgrounds and cultural characteristics, there are certainly differences in practice and ideology. This article explores the connection between the "Black Lives Matter" movement and Uncle Tom's Cabin, which both reflect the long-standing issues of racial discrimination and social injustice in American society. As a chronic disease of American society, although racial discrimination and social inequality are difficult to solve, it is necessary for us to conduct some detailed analysis on them. The connection between the novel and the movement indicates that the ongoing struggle for equality and justice is meaningful, that is, the liberation of black people can only be achieved through their own struggles.
