Obstetric Nursing Intervention Models for Hypertensive Disorders of Pregnancy and Their Effect Evaluation
This study evaluated the effectiveness of different obstetric nursing intervention models for Hypertensive Disorders of Pregnancy (HDP). A total of 120 pregnant women with HDP were randomly assigned to a predictive (anticipatory) intervention group, a comprehensive intervention group, or a control group receiving routine care (n=40 per group). Outcomes included delivery mode, anxiety/depression scores (SAS/SDS), and adverse maternal/neonatal outcomes. The predictive intervention group demonstrated a significantly higher vaginal delivery rate (75.00%) than both the comprehensive (65.00%) and control (47.50%) groups (P<0.05). Both intervention groups showed significantly lower pre-delivery SAS and SDS scores compared to the control group (P<0.05), with no significant difference between the two intervention groups. The incidences of adverse maternal (7.50%) and neonatal (5.00%) outcomes were lowest in the predictive group, followed by the comprehensive group. In conclusion, compared to routine care, both nursing models improve psychological outcomes, but the predictive intervention model appears more effective in optimizing delivery mode and reducing clinical complications
Research on the path of digital technology enabling high-quality integrated development of rural tourism
In recent years, rural digital cultural tourism has developed rapidly and has become one of the key forces to promote rural revitalization. However, beneath its prosperous development, problems such as serious homogenization of tourism products, significant restriction of "digital divide", insufficient depth of cultural and tourism integration and lack of professional talents have gradually become prominent. Based on this, this paper thoroughly sorts out the mechanism of digital technology enabling the integration of rural culture and tourism, analyzes the existing problems in the development of rural digital cultural tourism, and puts forward targeted and feasible suggestions. It aims to provide a solid theoretical support and practical path for promoting the deep integration of rural digital cultural tourism, generating new quality productive forces, and realizing rural revitalization and common prosperity
“Learn by Competing, Empower by Competing, Teach by Competing, Refine by Competing” Research on the integration of teaching and discipline competition in Events Management major based on OBE concept
The event industry is a rapidly growing field worldwide, and its swift development has spurred a demand for professionals in this sector. As specialized talents in events industry, individuals are expected not only to master professional knowledge and skills but also to possess interdisciplinary competencies, strong communication abilities, critical thinking, and excellent marketing skills. However, current teaching methods in event-related programs face several challenges, such as weak practical application in professional courses, outdated course content, and insufficient student understanding. Based on the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) model, this paper explores the integration of discipline competitions with event education. The OBE philosophy emphasizes a student-centered approach and outcome-oriented goals, representing a shift from teaching-centered to learning-centered educational paradigms. The "Competition-Education Co-Creation" model, based on the OBE philosophy, is student-centered and outcome-oriented. The integration of competitions and education not only serves as a practical pathway for universities to cultivate innovative talents but also optimizes practical teaching design, promoting the mutual integration of theory and practice for both teachers and students. By focusing on four aspects—“Learn by Competing, Empower by Competing, Teach by Competing, Refine by Competing”— this study aims to address existing issues, innovate course content and assessment methods, promote the development and innovation of event-related curricula, and ultimately enhance the quality of talent cultivation
The Effects of Regional Trade Agreements on Philippine Export Competitiveness in ASEAN Markets: Regional Trade Agreements on Philippine Export Competitiveness
This study investigates the effects of regional trade agreements (RTAs) on the export competitiveness of the Philippines within ASEAN markets. Using panel data and fixed effects regression analysis, the research examines how RTA participation, along with factors such as tariff rates, non-tariff measures, logistics performance, infrastructure quality, and digital trade readiness, influence sector-level export performance. The findings reveal that participation in RTAs significantly enhances export value, but the impact is conditional on domestic competitiveness factors. Specifically, improved logistics, digital readiness, and infrastructure quality amplify the benefits of RTAs, while high tariffs and non-tariff barriers impede export growth. Cointegration analysis further confirms that these relationships are stable over the long term. The study underscores the need for complementary domestic reforms to fully leverage the advantages of regional economic integration and promote sustainable export growth. The results provide evidence-based insights for policymakers aiming to strengthen the Philippines’ trade position in ASEAN through strategic investment in trade facilitation and competitiveness-enhancing measures
Practice and Exploration of a Clinical Nursing Student Teaching Model Based on the Combination of Flipped Classroom, MOOCs, and Gibbs’ Reflective Cycle: A Case Study of The First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University
This study explores the design, implementation, and evaluation of an integrated clinical nursing student teaching model combining flipped classroom pedagogy, Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), and Gibbs’ Reflective Cycle at The First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University. Utilizing a mixed-methods case study approach, the research investigates the model’s effectiveness in enhancing nursing students’ clinical skills, critical thinking, reflective abilities, and overall learning satisfaction. Results indicate significant improvements in practical competencies and reflective practice compared to traditional teaching methods. Students demonstrated higher engagement, autonomy, and deeper professional insight through structured reflection and active learning. Clinical instructors highlighted benefits in facilitating student-centered learning despite initial challenges in digital resource preparation. This integrated model presents a promising approach to bridging theoretical knowledge and clinical practice, supporting the development of competent, reflective nursing professionals. Recommendations for broader implementation and further refinement are discussed to optimize teaching outcomes in clinical nursing education
A Corpus-Assisted Investigation into Joe Biden’s Nuclear Policy Discourse: Evidence from Congressional Hearings
This paper takes Biden’s nuclear-related speeches at U.S. Congressional hearings during his tenure as a senator as the corpus, and uses corpus tools such as AntConc and LancsBox to analyze the subject words. With the mutual information value as a reference, it obtains the high-frequency collocations of words, identifies the main topics of concern in Biden's speeches, and analyzes the characteristics of Biden's speeches. It is found that Biden pays more attention to five aspects: major nuclear-related countries, nuclear weapons development, nuclear arms control treaties, international organizations, especially the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, and diplomatic relations. This study also finds that Biden’s speeches exhibited three distinct characteristics: a strong emphasis on the development of nuclear weapons capabilities, significant attention to nuclear arms control, and close focus on "Countries of Concern". Biden’s rhetoric reflected a dual strategy of deterrence and containment. While reaffirming the United States' commitment to bolstering its nuclear deterrence capabilities, his statements simultaneously revealed efforts to undermine the nuclear arsenals of other nations and curb their nuclear development. This study can provide a foundation for comparative research with President Trump
Research on the Integration Strategies of “Curriculum Ideology and Politics” and Language Teaching in Japanese Majors: A Case Study of Values Guidance through Japanese Literary Works
The integration of “Curriculum Ideology and Politics” (CIP) into specialized courses represents a pivotal initiative in Chinese higher education. However, its implementation with foreign language programs, particularly those focusing on Japanese majors, faces challenges due to perceived tensions between political-ideological goals and the development of language proficiency and intercultural understanding. This qualitative case study addresses this gap by proposing a novel framework for seamlessly blending CIP with advanced language instruction, using the teaching of Japanese literature as a paradigmatic example. Moving beyond notions of overt indoctrination, the study argues for an approach grounded in the principles of Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) and Critical Pedagogy. Through detailed textual analysis and reflective practice, the research demonstrates how literary texts can serve as a medium for exploring organic values, fostering critical thinking, and cross-cultural dialogue. It identifies and elucidates three core integration strategies: implicit thematic engagement, comparative cultural analysis, and critical discussion facilitation. The findings suggest that effective CIP integration is an advanced pedagogical art that enriches rather than diminishes the language learning experience. This study offers valuable insights and a transferable model for educators seeking to implement values education within foreign language teaching in a meaningful and academically rigorous manner
The Analysis of Identity Construction in Little Fires Everywhere under the perspective of Diverse Masculinity
This paper employs Cornell's theory of masculinity to analyze the identity construction of four male characters in Celeste Ng's novel Little Fires Everywhere and explore the complex interweaving of diverse masculinities within class, gender, and racial structures. Bill consolidates his elite lawyer identity through conspiratorial strategies; Trip maintains his charming heteronormative identity via performative hegemony; Moody practices a subordinate identity through intellectual pursuits; Brian attempts to construct a marginalized African American elite identity within systemic oppression. Through differentiated masculinity practices, the four males outline the hierarchical identity genealogy under patriarchy, which not only explains that masculinity is a fluid identity resource, but also provides a new analytical dimension for gender issues in the study of Chinese-American literature

Assessing the Feasibility and Impact of Extending the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor into Afghanistan
This study examines the feasibility and implications of extending the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) into Afghanistan, focusing on its geopolitical, economic, and developmental impacts in the post-2021 Taliban-ruled era. Afghanistan’s strategic position as a crossroads between Central Asia, South Asia, and the Middle East positions it as a potential hub for trade, energy transit, and regional integration under China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). The analysis highlights Afghanistan’s growing interest in CPEC as a pathway to economic recovery through infrastructure development, access to regional markets, and foreign investment . However, challenges such as ethnic fragmentation, security instability, governance deficits, and geopolitical rivalries (e.g., U.S.-India strategic interests and Russian caution) complicate implementation . The study advocates for a phased, modular approach prioritizing pilot projects in stable provinces like Balkh and Nangarhar, coupled with inclusive governance and multilateral cooperation to mitigate risks . While CPEC’s extension offers transformative potential for Afghanistan’s post-conflict reconstruction and China’s BRI ambitions, success hinges on balancing infrastructure investments with diplomacy, security coordination, and community engagement
