    Get PDF
This study examines the relationship between corporate activism and employee retention in a multinational corporation in Shandong, China, using a quantitative comparative correlational design with 300 employees. Findings reveal high levels of corporate activism across shareholder engagement with a mean of 2.89, sociopolitical involvement at 2.86, sustainability initiatives at 2.90, and reputation strategy at 2.74. Sociopolitical activism showed the strongest positive correlation with job satisfaction at 0.42. Employee retention metrics were consistently high with an overall mean of 2.87, though significant gender differences emerged, with male employees reporting 12% higher job satisfaction and 9% more favorable leadership perceptions than females. Mid-level employees demonstrated 15% stronger career development perceptions compared to other levels, while work-life balance satisfaction dropped 18% among employees with 7-10 years of service. The study identifies three key mechanisms through which corporate activism influences retention: value alignment at 0.38, leadership credibility at 0.29, and organizational transparency at 0.25. These findings suggest that while corporate activism generally enhances retention, its impact varies across demographic groups, recommending tailored communication strategies and leadership development programs to maximize retention benefits across all employee segments

    Get PDF
This study conducts a comprehensive and in-depth investigation into the challenges and corresponding facilitative pathways for promoting emerging intelligent technologies in the interior design industry. From a technological perspective, key obstacles include high research and application costs, as well as hardware-software compatibility issues. Disparities in software architectures and data formats among developers hinder seamless integration of emerging technologies with existing devices or platforms. Furthermore, security and privacy concerns surrounding new intelligent technologies significantly impede their adoption, as consumers exhibit cautious attitudes due to perceived risks, thereby exacerbating implementation difficulties. To address these challenges, this paper proposes targeted strategies aimed at advancing the sustainable integration of emerging intelligent technologies within the interior design sector, fostering innovation and industry-wide progress

Reimagining Traditional Chinese Folktales: A Feminist Literary Critique of Mulan

    Get PDF
This paper critically analyzes the evolving portrayals of Mulan through the lens of gender performativity, intersectionality, and postcolonial feminism. Using content and discourse analysis, the study compares the original Chinese Ballad of Mulan with Disney’s 1998 animated and 2020 live-action adaptations. Mulan’s gender performance, situated at the intersection of culture, identity, and power, is interpreted differently across societies. Western audiences largely view her as a feminist icon, while Eastern critiques emphasize her deviation from filial and cultural norms. The study reveals how global feminist ideals often clash with indigenous values, complicating efforts to construct universally accepted feminist narratives. Mulan emerges as a contested symbol of empowerment, identity, and cultural negotiation in intersectionality

This study examines the relationship between teachers’ self-assessed inclusive education practices and their attitudes toward social justice in the classroom. Conducted at Sanhe Yanjiao Enoch Experimental School in China, the research employed a descriptive-comparative-correlational design with 81 teacher respondents. Data were collected through a validated researcher-made questionnaire assessing demographic profiles, inclusive education practices , and social justice attitudes . Results indicated that teachers generally demonstrated positive self-assessments of both inclusive education practices and social justice attitudes, with strong agreement on principles of equity and diversity. However, areas for improvement were identified, including sustained professional development in understanding diverse learner needs and implementing culturally responsive strategies. Statistical analysis revealed no significant differences in self-assessed inclusive education practices or social justice attitudes based on demographic variables such as sex, educational attainment, length of service, or seminar attendance. A significant positive correlation was found between teachers’ inclusive education practices and their social justice attitudes, particularly in valuing diversity, fostering student engagement, and promoting equity. The findings underscore the importance of integrating social justice frameworks with inclusive education training to enhance teachers’ capacity to create equitable and inclusive learning environments. Recommendations include targeted professional development programs, reflective practices, and institutional support to strengthen teachers’ ability to address diverse learner needs through a social justice lens

To promote the art of calligraphy and inherit the excellent traditional Chinese culture, it is necessary to strengthen calligraphy education in primary and secondary schools, expand the influence of Chinese character writing education, and comprehensively improve students' writing literacy. However, studies have found that primary and secondary school students' ability to write Chinese characters has weakened, which is naturally related to the weakening of pen-and-paper writing in the information age, but also to the insufficient understanding of calligraphy education in school education and the lack of effective guidance from teachers for students. Teachers' writing level has a profound impact on students, and the demand for teachers to teach calligraphy in basic education poses a challenge to the writing skills of teacher trainees in colleges and universities. However, the current writing skills courses for teachers in colleges and universities have problems such as unclear positioning of the curriculum, the overall quality level of teachers needs to be improved, the skills training of the courses is not prominent enough, and the assessment system is not sound. Accordingly, the path of teaching reform of teachers' writing skills course is proposed: first, adjusting teaching objectives; second, reconstructing teaching modules; third, improving assessment methods; and fourth, carrying out diversified teaching activities
