This study determined the extent to which school administrators promote the implementation of aesthetic education and its correlation with respondents' cross-cultural competence (CCC). A comprehensive analysis was conducted, examining key areas including comprehensive development goals, classroom teaching, core subjects, and supplementary courses. The study's findings indicate that school administrators effectively integrate aesthetic education across these areas, with particular strengths in assessment practices, professional development, and encouraging creativity. However, there are identified areas for improvement, such as enhancing student engagement and providing better support mechanisms for teachers. Demographic profiles of both teacher and student respondents were analyzed, revealing a significant representation of female educators and students. Additionally, the study found no significant differences in the perceptions of the promotion of aesthetic education based on sex, age, or length of service among respondents. The assessment of respondents' cross-cultural competence was conducted across cognitive, affective, behavioral, and relational dimensions. The results show that respondents generally perceive themselves as competent in these areas, with room for improvement in fostering respect for all cultural backgrounds and emphasizing mutual respect. A significant positive correlation was found between the extent of school administrators' promotion of aesthetic education and the overall cross-cultural competence of respondents. This finding underscores the critical role that aesthetic education plays in enhancing students' abilities to understand, appreciate, and interact effectively with diverse cultures. The study concludes with recommendations to further integrate and promote aesthetic education, thereby fostering a more culturally competent and inclusive educational environment

Sacred Chants on Stage: The Performative Reconstruction of Yushan Fanbai

    Get PDF
This paper examines the transformative journey of Yushan Fanbai, a traditional Chinese Buddhist chant, as it transitions from monastic ritual to staged performance. Originally embedded in liturgical practice where sound served spiritual discipline rather than artistic display, Fanbai has entered new domains of cultural presentation through intangible cultural heritage policies and spiritual-aesthetic markets. Analyzing its performative reconstruction, this study identifies how Fanbai’s sonic, bodily, and spatial dimensions are systematically reconfigured for theatrical settings. Ritual chanting is reshaped into melodic phrases with harmonic enrichment; restrained bodily composure becomes choreographed movement; and sacred space gives way to symbolic scenography. These adaptations are driven externally by heritage frameworks and media markets, and internally by monastic communities seeking cultural outreach and institutional legitimacy. The resulting performance exists in a liminal space between ritual authenticity and aesthetic communication, generating tensions regarding sacredness and mediation. Ultimately, this reconstruction reflects not the dilution of tradition but its dynamic rearticulation, demonstrating how religious practices negotiate continuity within contemporary cultural economies while offering insights into the broader evolution of intangible cultural heritage in modern China

    Get PDF
With the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology, the application of AI in competitive sports continues to deepen, reshaping the structure and logic of football training. Based on the literature method, this article selects 45 representative research results on topics such as "artificial intelligence", "football training", and "physical education" from Chinese core and English authoritative journals from 2002 to 2025 as analysis samples, and systematically sorts out the application paths and development trends of AI technology in modern football training. The study found that artificial intelligence is mainly used in key links such as motion recognition, tactical modeling, fatigue monitoring and injury prediction, which effectively improves the accuracy of training, the real-time feedback and the scientific nature of strategy adjustment. For example, through the fusion of computer vision and sensor data, real-time capture of players' movement postures and deviation warnings can be achieved; with the help of machine learning models and spatial analysis algorithms, decision-making efficiency in tactical drills can be significantly improved. In the educational dimension, the introduction of AI has broken the barriers between theoretical teaching and practical training, and promoted the transformation of college sports courses to "data-driven" and "technology-enabled". The study further pointed out that colleges and universities should strengthen students' data literacy, platform operation capabilities and interdisciplinary technology understanding in coach training to adapt to new teaching requirements in the context of intelligence. Combining actual teaching experience, the article constructs a multidimensional model of college football training under AI empowerment, and puts forward optimization suggestions at the education system level in terms of curriculum reform, technology introduction and teacher training. This study not only clarifies the technical context of the current integration of artificial intelligence and football training, but also provides a theoretical basis and practical path for the intelligent transformation of sports education, which has important practical significance and forward-looking value

Communication Transparency in School Management and Teachers’ Organizational Trust in a University in Beijing, China

    Get PDF
Effective communication within school management has a significant impact on organizational trust among teachers. Transparency in communication involves openly sharing accurate and timely information, fostering an environment of mutual respect and collaboration. In schools, where teamwork and mutual understanding are crucial, the role of transparent communication cannot be overstated. Recent research has highlighted its profound impact on the development of trust in educational institutions (Rajapaksha & Dissanayake, 2021; Praphatsorn & Wannapiroon, 2023). Transparency in communication can reduce ambiguity and ensure that teachers understand decisions that affect their work, thereby building trust. Transparent communication within school management enables teachers to align their professional goals with those of the institution. This alignment, in turn, fosters a sense of shared responsibility and ownership, strengthening trust in leadership. These practices include regular staff meetings, open lines of communication, and clearly communicated policies. Perceptions of decision fairness are also closely linked to transparency in communication. When school leaders openly share the rationale behind decisions, teachers perceive a greater sense of fairness and inclusion. A study by Ahmad and Farooq i (2021) found that teachers’ trust and morale levels increased significantly in schools that implemented transparent decision-making processes. This trust fostered a supportive environment conducive to collaboration and innovation in teaching practices
