Get PDFThis essay aims at an analysis and deconstruction of Movement, Framework, Cut (2019) an audiovisual essay by Nuno Dias, that edits shots from Corrente (2008), Cinema (2014) and O Guardador (2015), three short films directed by Rodrigo Areias. Dias looks for intersections in these works. What draws them together? What is the role of landscape in these films? What is more important in cinema: what one sees or what is hidden? The aesthetics of image and sound as ways to cut across the incommensurable. Characters-being emerge in shots as metaphors of memory. The character-being in Corrente floats the waters of the river. In O Guardador, the character-being floats, with a lantern, the museum rooms, between objects of the past. In Cinema, the character-being carries over his shoulders the weight of memory in abandoned old cans that hide fantasies in a “cinematic bunker”. Just as the last pandemic marked our lives forever, other pandemics can be found during other times and in other societies. In this short text, we cross the video with other stories created by the connection between moving images and the direct sensations they create. We explore Rousseau\u27s ethics, the savage in Robinson Crusoe and Senator La Ciura, and Boccaccio\u27s concept of community. O efeito direto do acordo de saída do Reino Unido e do acordo de comércio e cooperação – aplicação a estes acordos da jurisprudência do TJUE relativa aos acordos internacionais da União Europeia
Get PDFInternational agreements concluded by the EU are a part of the EU’s legal order and are binding upon the EU and its Member States. Accordingly, the CJEU has jurisdiction to assess the compatibility of such agreements with the acts of EU institutions and acts of the Member States, allowing for individuals to invoke these agreements in court when they can have a direct effect. In that way, the UK Withdrawal Agreement and the EU/UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement also constitute rules in the light of which the Court is to review the legality of measures adopted by the EU and Member States. This article aims to assess whether the provisions of the UK Withdrawal Agreement and of the Trade and Cooperation Agreement can have direct effect. As for the Trade and Cooperation Agreement, we will also analyse the inclusion of clauses that seem to exclude the possibility of direct effect.Os acordos celebrados pela UE integram a ordem jurídica da União e vinculam a UE e os Estados-Membros. Consequentemente, o TJUE tem competência para apreciar a compatibilidade dos atos das instituições e dos Estados-Membros com esses acordos, podendo permitir a sua invocação pelos particulares quando estes gozem de efeito direto. Neste sentido, também o Acordo de Saída do Reino Unido e o posterior Acordo de Comércio e Cooperação poderão servir de fundamento ao controlo da legalidade dos atos da UE e dos Estados-Membros. Este artigo pretende, assim, analisar a possibilidade de efeito direto das disposições do Acordo de Saída e do Acordo de Comércio e Cooperação. UCCI Sagrada Família, um modelo de governação possível na RNCCI
Get PDFUCCI Sagrada Família started its activity in 2012, being an RNCCI provider for the long-term and maintenance typology and a health unit of Misericórdia da Amadora. Over the course of 10 years, a governance model of an incremental nature was developed, focused on the needs of its users and their families and based on quality, interdisciplinarity, a safety culture and a holistic approach. It is structured in a strategic planning process that aims to obtain results, embodied in outcome indicators, monitored quarterly through a Tableau de Bord. Obtaining gains in health, quality of life and satisfaction are the main goals it proposes. The adequacy of care to new needs, uncertainty, a new profile of users, resulting from the pandemic period, constrained by the dictates of sustainability and the availability of human resources, emerges with the main challenge facing the UCCI Sagrada Família multidisciplinary team for years to come.A UCCI Sagrada Família iniciou a sua atividade em 2012, sendo um prestador da RNCCI para a tipologia de longa duração e manutenção e uma unidade de saúde da Misericórdia da Amadora. No decurso dos 10 anos, que agora assinalamos, foi desenvolvido um modelo de governação de natureza incremental, centrado nas necessidades dos seus utentes e familiares e alicerçado na qualidade, na interdisciplinaridade, numa cultura de segurança e numa abordagem holística. Está estruturado num processo de planeamento estratégico que visa a obtenção de resultados, consubstanciados em indicadores de outcome, monitorizados trimestralmente através de um Tableau de Bord. A obtenção de ganhos em saúde, de qualidade de vida e de satisfação são as principais metas a que se propõe. A adequação dos cuidados às novas necessidades, à incerteza, a um novo perfil dos utentes, decorrentes do período pandémico, constrangida pelos ditames da sustentabilidade e da disponibilidade de recursos humanos da saúde, emerge com o principal desafio que se coloca à equipa multidisciplinar da UCCI Sagrada Família para os próximos anos
A emergência das escolhas individuais como um princípio curricular no Brasil: uma crítica à escola do neoliberalismo
Get PDFIn the course of this article, it is intended to problematize the emergence of individual students’ choices as a curricular principle for the schooling of Brazilian adolescents and young people, insofar as it is accompanied by a new formative grammar. Therefore, studies on valuing the voice of students will be reviewed, dialoguing with recent elaborations and prioritizing a more systematic approach to Michael Fielding’s publications, specifically his concept of ‘intergenerational learning’. After the concepts of student voice have been covered and dimensioned within the scope of neoliberal policies, the investigative results produced about the new high school in Brazil will be discussed, emphasizing the notions of life projects, youth protagonism and socio-emotional skills. Finally, as a balance of the considerations presented, three principles will be defended for the revaluation of the students’ voice through intergenerational learning. This defense, from a pedagogical point of view, leads us to resist the excesses of individualization arising from neoliberal-inspired curriculum policies and, with the necessary urgency, re- enter the political struggle around the meanings of student participation.No decorrer do presente artigo pretende-se problematizar a emergência das escolhas individuais dos estudantes como um princípio curricular para a escolarização dos adolescentes e jovens brasileiros, na medida em que vem acompanhada de uma nova gramática formativa. Para tanto, serão revisados os estudos sobre a valorização da voz do alunado, dialogando com elaborações recentes e priorizando uma abordagem mais sistemática das publicações de Michael Fielding, especificamente de seu conceito de ‘aprendizagem intergeracional’. Após os conceitos de voz do alunado terem sidos percorridos e dimensionados no âmbito das políticas neoliberais, serão discutidos os resultados investigativos produzidos acerca do novo ensino médio, no Brasil, atribuindo ênfase para as noções de projetos de vida, protagonismo juvenil e competências socioemocionais. Por fim, como um balanço das considerações apresentadas, serão defendidos três princípios para a revalorização da voz dos estudantes por meio da aprendizagem intergeracional. Esta defesa, desde um ponto de vista pedagógico, encaminha para que possamos produzir resistência aos excessos de individualização advindos das políticas curriculares de inspiração neoliberal e, com a necessária urgência, reingressar na luta política em torno dos significados da participação estudantil

Get PDFThere are many testimonies (from oral tradition, among others) that try to express the Arraiana culture. But what is intended is to try to assess the cultural heritage around the capeia arraiana, based on the short story “Uma corri de toiros no Sabugal”, published by Abel Botelho in Mulheres da Beira (1898). The capeia arraiana is a typical bullfight of the lands of Riba Côa, in the villages of the raia and is thought to have originated in an agreement between the cattle ranchers of the Spanish province of Salamanca and the Portuguese villages. Once a year, they used to give up some wild cows to, in some way, compensate for the damage caused by the Spanish cattle that crossed the lane to graze in the Portuguese gardens and marshes. In this way, we intend to revisit the first short story that is assumed as a true semantic and poetic testimony of this arraiano collection. And, under this view, we believe that from a literary code, the language of the bulls becomes a lively dialogue between the symbolic and the imaginary of the intangible cultural heritage of the peoples of the border.São muitos os testemunhos (de tradição oral, entre outros) que procuram dizer a cultura arraiana. Mas o que se pretende é tentar avaliar o património cultural em torno da capeia arraiana, a partir do conto “Uma corrida de toiros no Sabugal”, publicado por Abel Botelho em Mulheres da Beira (1898). A capeia arraiana é uma corrida de touros típica das terras de Riba Côa, nas aldeias da raia e pensa-se que tenha tido origem num acordo entre os ganadeiros da província espanhola de Salamanca e as aldeias portuguesas. Uma vez por ano, cediam algumas vacas bravas para, de alguma forma, compensar os estragos causados pelo gado espanhol que atravessava a raia para pastar nas hortas e lameiros portugueses. Pretendemos, deste modo, revisitar o primeiro conto que se assume como verdadeiro testemunho semântico e poético desse acervo arraiano. E, sob este olhar, acreditamos que a partir de um código literário, a linguagem dos toiros se transforma num diálogo vivo entre a simbólica e o imaginário do património cultural imaterial dos povos da raia
