Passado, presente e futuro das investigações sobre as relações entre o Papado e a Peninsula Ibérica entre os séculos XI e XIII
Get PDFThis paper tries to establish a forecast about the future studies that can be done about the relations between the Roman papacy and the Iberian Peninsula, especially about the studies of bulls and papal privileges. In the first place, a quite exhaustive review is made on the investigations carried out up to the present day on the pontifical documents related to Hispania. Possibilities for new work are offered below: search in various archives for new unknown documents, review of historiographical works from the 17th-18th centuries, review of existing documentary editions, study of pontifical letters not directly signed by the pope, and new electronic-editions of papal texts.El objetivo de este artículo es hacer una previsión sobre las futuras investigaciones que pueden ser realizadas sobre las relaciones entre el Papado romano y la Península Ibérica y, en particular, sobre el estudio de las bulas y de los privilegios papales. En primer lugar, este trabajo presentará un cuadro general de las investigaciones realizadas hasta ahora sobre los diplomas pontificios relacionados con la Hispania. En segundo lugar, explorará las potencialidades de trabajos relativos a la búsqueda en varios archivos de títulos todavía desconocidos; a la revisión de obras historiográficas de los siglos XVII-XVIII; a la revisión de las ediciones documentales existentes; al estudio de cartas papales no atribuidas directamente por el Papa y a nuevas ediciones de la correspondència papal.Este artigo tenta estabelecer uma previsão sobre os estudos futuros que podem ser feitos sobre as relações entre o papado romano e a Península Ibérica, especialmente sobre os estudos de bulas e privilégios papais. Em primeiro lugar, apresenta-se uma revisão bastante exaustiva das investigações realizadas até hoje sobre os diplomas pontifícios relativos à Hispânia. Get PDFIn this article, we present and discuss the ongoing co-creative net art and transmedia labs with Digitálias, a female collective in the fight against gender violence. Since 2018, we have been organising art labs with the Associação Ser Mulher (ASM), based in Évora, aimed at female victims of intimate partner violence living in a Shelter House, as well as ASM technicians. The labs are part of an exploratory research whose main aim is to analyse how the community artistic practice of net art can play a social role as a tool for empowerment, self-esteem, and identity, using an arts-based action research methodology through the creation, production, and dissemination of practical artistic projects (project-based research), and using women from shelters who are victims of domestic violence as a case study
Toward an Artist-Centred AI
Get PDFAwareness about the immense impact that artificial intelligence (AI) might have or already has made on the social, economic, political, and cultural realities of our world has become part of the mainstream public discourse. Attributes such as ethical, responsible, or explainable emerge as associative and descriptive nominal references in guidelines that influence perspectives on AI application and development. This paper contextualizes the notions of suitability and desirability of principles, practices, and tools related to the use of AI in the arts. The result is a framework drafted as a set of atomic attributes that summarize the values of AI deemed important for artistic creativity. It was composed by examining the challenges that AI poses to art production, distribution, consumption, and monetization. Considering the differentiating potentials of AI and taking a perspective aside from the purely technical ontology, we argue that artistically pertinent AI should be unexpected, diversified, affordant, and evolvable
Narrative Structure in \u27Pulp Fiction\u27
Get PDFIn this audiovisual essay, the narrative structure of the film Pulp Fiction (Tarantino, 1994) has been analyzed, locating the essential structural vicissitudes of the film in its original montage and linear story, seeking to investigate the reasons that prompted the director to choose such a particular narrative proposal. This audiovisual essay places the two narrative proposals in the same image. The linear story appears on a large screen and the original story is presented on a panel on the right side of the image. The chronological order of the stories has been listed and arranged as counted. The proposed essay shows us that the two stories work, but that perhaps the original story is a more dynamic and innovative exercise in style than the linear story, and that in some moments the vicissitudes and structures of the two narrative proposals coincide. Condições de trabalho e stress ocupacional dos profissionais de saúde: comparação entre o primeiro confinamento e o período posterior
Get PDFThis study aims to understand to what extent the working conditions to which health professionals are exposed daily (work overload and the availability of PPE) will affect the occupational stress of these workers. As these conditions have changed very significantly with the advent of COVID19, it becomes important to understand the differences between the first confinement and the subsequent period. This research has a sample of 114 health professionals and all the data was collected through online and physical questionnaires. To test the hypotheses, linear regressions and tests for independent samples were performed using IBM SPSS Statistics 23. According to the analyses performed the results show that, contrary to what was predicted, overload does not explain a significant part of occupational stress in health professionals, but in opposition, it was proven that the availability of PPE negatively predicts work stress, although this relationship does not show significant differences between the two time periods.As condições de trabalho a que os profissionais de saúde estão expostos diariamente (i.e., sobrecarga horária e a disponibilidade de EPIs) sofreram alterações muito significativas com o surgimento da COVID19. Assim, e sabendo que mesmo antes da pandemia as condições de trabalho destes profissionais eram já reconhecidas como preditores de stress ocupacional, este estudo pretende compreender as diferenças entre as perceções dos respondentes no primeiro confinamento e no momento posterior (quando os dados foram recolhidos) no que se refere às condições de trabalho e aos níveis de stresse sentidos. Esta investigação contou com uma amostra de 114 profissionais de saúde, sendo que os dados foram recolhidos através de um questionário que foi disponibilizado online e em formato físico. Para a concretização das análises estatísticas recorreu-se ao IBM SPSS Statistics 23. De acordo com os resultados, e contrariamente ao previsto, a sobrecarga horária não se relaciona com o stress ocupacional dos profissionais de saúde presentes na amostra. Contudo, comprovou-se que a disponibilidade de EPIs mitiga o stress laboral destes profissionais e tal acontece tanto nos momentos mais críticos da pandemia, como após esse período de crise
Intervenções em crianças com doença oncológica submetidas a procedimentos invasivos: uma revisão integrativa da literatura
Get PDFChildren with oncological disease are often subject to invasives procedures repeatedly, due to the need to evaluate the clinical evolution, but also due to the content of treatments. Performing these procedures is the main cause of anxiety and pain in the hospitalized child. Centered on a paradigm of atraumatic care, it is recommended for them to be based on three principles: prevent or minimize the separation of the child from his/her family; promote child and family involvement; minimize the impact of bodily injury and pain. This review aimed to identify interventions with an impact on reducing anxiety and pain in children and adolescents with cancer undergoing invasive procedures and analyze the characteristics of these interventions. The research was carried out in databases available on the EBSCOhost platform: MEDLINE, CINAHL, Academic Search, Psychology and Behavioral Sciences Collection and MedicLatina. The selection of studies for review was conditioned by inclusion and exclusion criteria established, were included articles published in Portuguese, English and Spanish between 2012-2022.The documentary corpus included 6 primary research articles based on the implementation of interventions with an impact on pain and anxiety in children and adolescents with cancer undergoing invasive procedures. Of the articles included, stand out interventions such as the use of therapeutic play, virtual reality, hypnosis and kaleidoscope. All interventions have shown positive results in reducing pain and anxiety in children and adolescents subjected to invasive procedures. The role of the nurse is highlighted in the implementation of interventions.As crianças com doença oncológica são frequentemente sujeitas a procedimentos invasivos de forma repetida, pela necessidade de avaliar a evolução clínica, mas também pelo teor dos tratamentos. A realização destes procedimentos é a principal causa de ansiedade e dor na criança hospitalizada. Centrados num paradigma de cuidados atraumáticos, preconiza-se que tenham por base três princípios: prevenir ou minimizar a separação da criança da sua família; promover o envolvimento da criança e família; minimizar o impacto de lesões corporais e dor. A presente revisão teve como objetivos identificar intervenções com impacto na diminuição da ansiedade e dor de crianças e adolescentes com doença oncológica submetidos a procedimentos invasivos e analisar as características destas intervenções. A pesquisa foi realizada em bases de dados disponíveis na plataforma EBSCOhost: MEDLINE, CINAHL, Academic Search, Psychology and Behavioral Sciences Collection e MedicLatina. A seleção dos estudos para revisão foi condicionada por critérios de inclusão e exclusão estabelecidos, foram incluídos artigos publicados em português, inglês e espanhol entre 2012- 2022. Integraram o corpus documental 6 artigos de investigação primária tendo por base a implementação de intervenções com impacto na dor e ansiedade de crianças e adolescentes com cancro sujeitas a procedimentos invasivos. Dos artigos incluídos destacam-se intervenções como o uso do brincar terapêutico, da realidade virtual, da hipnose e do caleidoscópio. Todas as intervenções demonstraram resultados positivos na redução da dor e da ansiedade de crianças e adolescentes sujeitas a procedimentos invasivos. Destaca-se o papel do enfermeiro na implementação das intervenções
Determinantes da intenção de compra online dos consumidores
Get PDFThis study identifies the main variables that influence consumers\u27 intention to purchase online. The variables analyzed were trust, design, value proposition, delivery, protection and guarantee and finally the payment methods. Data collection was carried out through an anonymous questionnaire made available online which obtained 182 responses. The results showed the relevance of trust, value proposition and payment for purchase intention. The results of the study also demonstrated the different impact of the variables on consumers aged 25 years or less compared to the rest of the older age groups. In these cases, it was evident that the value proposition has an impact on the purchase intention of younger consumers and the different forms of payment impact the intention of older age groups.A elaboração deste estudo identifica as principais variáveis que influenciam a intenção de compra online por parte dos consumidores. Mais detalhadamente foram analisadas, em termos de relevância para a intenção de compra, a confiança, o design, a proposta de valor, a entrega, a proteção e garantia e por último os métodos de pagamento. A recolha de dados foi efetuada através de um questionário anónimo disponibilizado online e ao qual responderam 182 indivíduos. Os resultados obtidos evidenciaram a relevância da confiança, da proposta de valor e do pagamento para a intenção de compra. Os resultados do estudo também demonstraram o diferente impacto das variáveis nos consumidores com idade igual ou inferior a 25 anos em relação aos restantes das faixas etárias superiores. Nestes casos, ficou evidenciado que a proposta de valor tem impacto na intenção de compra dos consumidores mais novos e as diferentes formas de pagamento impactam a intenção das faixas etárias superiores

We will analyze the features of the house from the scriptural language and in Laudato Si’ in order to instruct digital domesticity: soil, architecture, and habitability.En étudiant les relations des humains avec ce qui les entoure nous affirmons dans ce texte que l’environnement numérique est un espace quotidien d’habitation que porte les traits du domestique: «tout espace vraiment habité porte l’essence de la maison» (Bachelard). Nous analyserons les traits de la maison à partir du langage scripturaire et chez Laudato si’ afin d’instruire la domesticité numérique: sol, architecture et habitabilité
