Challenges In Teaching English Vocabulary To Special Needs Students Through Technology
Get PDFThe development of digital technology in recent decades has influenced English education, especially in teaching vocabulary. Several previous studies have been investigated that focus on teaching vocabulary challenges through technology. However, all of those studies do not touch on the use of technology in special needs students. This study investigated the teachers’ challenges in developing students with special needs through technology. A qualitative approach with a case study design was used in this study. This study involved six EFL female teachers who taught students with special needs in one of the inclusive schools in Central Java, Indonesia, with several criteria, including having at least five years of experience in learning by using technology for teaching children with special needs, one of which is in the context of teaching vocabulary to students with special needs themselves. A semi-structured interview was designed to collect the data to obtain detailed information about teachers' barriers to using technology to develop students with special needs vocabulary. Thematic analysis was conducted to analyze the qualitative data in some steps: transcription of the interviews, identification of the main themes, coding, categorizing the themes, and making a conclusion. Impoliteness Strategy In K-Pop Song Lyrics By Blackpink: -
Get PDFThis research aims to find out the types of impoliteness strategy and to find out the application of impoliteness strategy in the song lyrics. Blackpink. The data presented is 34 lyrics. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The data source was taken from YouTube, totaling 13 songs. Data were analyzed based on the incivility strategy developed by Culpeper (1996). Types of impoliteness found in blackpink song lyrics, 1. Bald impoliteness when recorded 12% 2. Positive politeness 29% 3. Negative impoliteness 53% 4. Sarcastic or mocking politeness 6% 5. Withholding politeness 0%. Why here I don't find wiyhold impoliteness because in the song withhold impoliteness it is very rarely used. Culpeper (2005) makes two observations in the realm of impoliteness. First, he believes that language and non-linguistic cues do not imply impoliteness. To put it another way, neither language nor non-linguistic cues are inherently disrespectful but according to Culpeper (1996), impoliteness can be conveyed not only vocally but also non-verbally, such as avoiding eye contact. When assessing impoliteness, it is also necessary to examine paralinguistic and nonverbal aspects, which is why it is impossible to use this type of song. This finding shows that Blackpink's lyrics use more negative types of impoliteness, which is why the impoliteness strategy is suitable for use in this research.
 
Pengaruh Budaya Organisasi, Kompensasi, Dan Pengembangan Karir Terhadap Talent Retention Dengan Keterlibatan Pegawai Sebagai Variabel Intervening
Get PDFBackground – The mutation rate in the Civil Servant environment is still quite high, making it quite difficult to implement talent management. In the 2021 Civil Servant Candidate recruitment, 105 people were recorded as having resigned after being declared to have passed, this resignation was due to a mismatch in salary and placement location.
Aims – this study aims to test and determine the direct or indirect influence of organizational culture variables, compensation and career development on talent retention through employee engagement as an intervening variable.
Design/Methodology/Approach – This study uses a quantitative research method. Data were collected from 139 respondents who were selected using the random sampling method. The data analysis technique in this study used path analysis using the SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) model or Structural Equation Model with the WarpPLS 7.0 program.
Results and Discussion – the results of this study indicate that the variables of organizational culture, compensation and career development partially have a positive and significant effect on talent retention, and also have a positive and significant effect on employee engagement. Based on path analysis, there is a direct and indirect influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable through the intervening variable.
Conclusion - employee involvement in Jember district government activities will make employees more loyal and work optimally to achieve the goals of the district government. Improvement of organizational culture, and clarity of career development will increase talent retention, and supported by appropriate compensation.
Research implications - based on the results of this study, the Jember district government must foster values and norms in the organization to form a good organizational culture, evaluate and improve the career development system so that employees are more loyal and work optimally.
Research limitations - based on the results of the determination coefficient test, the contribution of the independent variables is only 61% and 68%, so it is necessary to add more independent variables so that the results are better. This study has not separated state civil servants from non-state civil servants
Analisis Pelayanan Terhadap Kepuasan dan Loyalitas Konsumen di UMKM Nagih Kuliner Menggunakan Metode IPA dan SEM
Get PDFNagih Kuliner merupakan suatu usaha pada bidang makanan dan minuman. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi atribut yang menjadi keunggulan dan kelemahan berdasarkan kualitas pelayanan, mengetahui hubungan antara kepuasan dengan tingkat loyalitas konsumen dan yang terakhir adalah menentukan Strategi untuk meningkatkan kepuasan konsumen dan loyalitas konsumen terhadap usaha Nagih Kuliner. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Importance Perfomance Analysis dan Structural Equation Modelling. Adapun hasil dari penelitian adalah pada metode IPA, kuadran pertama yang menjadi keunggulan dan menjadi prioritas utama untuk ditingkatkan sedangkan yang menjadi kelemahan dan perlu perbaikan adalah pada kuadran ketiga. Sedangkan pada metode SEM bahwa kepuasan dan loyalitas berpengaruh signifikan dengan nilai T statistics 12.401 dan P values 0.000 dan juga reliability pengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan konsumen dengan nilai T statistics 2.160 dan P values 0.031
OPTIMASI NILAI DAVIES BOULDIN INDEX PADA PROGRAM PENDAFTARAN TANAH SISTEMATIS LENGKAP (PTSL) MENGGUNAKAN ALGORITMA K-MEANS DAN PCA
Get PDFPenelitian ini bertujuan mengoptimalkan proses clustering data program Pendaftaran Tanah Sistematis Lengkap (PTSL) dengan mengimplementasikan algoritma K-Means yang dikombinasikan dengan Principal Component Analysis (PCA) dan mengevaluasi hasilnya menggunakan Davies Bouldin Index (DBI). Dalam metode penelitian yang diterapkan meliputi pengumpulan data dari Desa Bandorasawetan, Kecamatan Cilimus, Kabupaten Kuningan, pemilihan data, transformasi data, data mining, dan interpretasi/evaluasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa klaster yang optimal dicapai pada K = 5 dengan pendekatan Fixed Number menggunakan 1 Number of Components yang mempertahankan atribut NJOP Bangunan. Atribut ini memiliki distribusi yang lebih terpusat dalam satu cluster dalam arti memiliki pola yang konsisten, dengan nilai DBI sebesar 0.049, memiliki kinerja lebih baik dibandingkan K-Means tanpa PCA dengan DBI mencapai 0.466. Dari total 5 klaster yang terbentuk, cluster terbaik yang teridentifikasi berdasarkan hasil selisih rata-rata antara avg. within centroid distance dan avg. within centroid distance_cluster yaitu cluster 0, karena memiliki jarak terdekat dengan komponen utama (PC1) sebesar 128918767.1. Studi ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas dalam pengelolaan data pertanahan agar menjadi lebih efektif
STRATEGI MENGATASI KONFLIK DALAM HUBUNGAN ROMANTIS ADAPTASI DAN VALIDASI THE ROMANTIC PARTNER CONFLICT SCALE
Get PDFBackground: Conflicts do not only occur in everyday life, but also in romantic relationships. Dissatisfaction, separation, or even death will be the result of conflict in romantic relationships if not addressed early or faced in a positive way. Seeking help from a counselor is one of the beneficial methods for dealing with conflict. However, one obstacle in the assessment process is the unavailability of measuring instruments that can be used by counselors. Objective: This study aims to adapt and validate The Romantic Partner Conflict Scale (RPCS) into Indonesian language and culture. Method: The RPCS adaptation was conducted using the backward translation technique. Evidence validity based on test content using Aiken's V and based on internal structure using CFA was used. The respondents in this study were 644 people. Result: The results of the adaptation of the RPCS into Indonesian language and culture show that the RPCS items (total of 37 items, 2 dropped) can measure each dimension of the RPCS and are easily understood by respondents. The validation results show the availability of validity evidence based on test content and internal structure. Conclusion: The Indonesian version of the RPCS can be used by counselors for assessment purposes or by researchers for research purposes
PENGARUH STRES AKADEMIK TERHADAP KESEJAHTERAAN PSIKOLOGIS SISWA SMA NEGERI 1 AYAH: DENGAN MODERASI MEDIA SOSIAL
Get PDFBackground: Academic stress is a factor that often reduces students' psychological well-being, especially in terms of their emotions and mental balance. Along with the development of technology, social media plays a significant role as a social interaction tool, but its excessive use can worsen the effects of academic stress. Objective: This study aims to identify the effect of academic stress on the psychological well-being of students of SMA Negeri 1 Ayah with the moderation of social media use. Method: This study used a quantitative method with a population of students of SMA Negeri 1 Ayah. The instruments used included an academic stress scale, a social media use scale, and a psychological well-being scale. Results: The study showed that social media use was a significant moderator in the relationship between academic stress and psychological well-being. Conclusion: In the low social media user group, the relationship between academic stress and psychological well-being was relatively weak (β = -0.17, R2 = 0.080) with only 8% of the variation in psychological well-being in this group explained by academic stress. Conversely, in the high social user group, this relationship was much stronger, namely (β = -0.47, R2 = 0.396), indicating that 39.6% of psychological well-being was influenced by academic stress
PENDEKATAN SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW DAN EUCS : MENGUKUR KEPUASAN PENGGUNA TIKTOK DAN INSTAGRAM
Get PDFPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi tingkat kepuasan pengguna aplikasi TikTok dan Instagram Reels menggunakan pendekatan End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) dan Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Lima dimensi utama EUCS yang dianalisis meliputi konten, akurasi, format, kemudahan penggunaan, dan ketepatan waktu. Data utama dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner daring yang melibatkan 58 responden dengan metode random sampling. Selain itu, analisis literatur sistematis dilakukan dengan model PRISMA untuk memperkuat temuan empiris. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua aplikasi memperoleh tingkat kepuasan yang tinggi pada semua dimensi, dengan dimensi konten dan akurasi sebagai faktor yang paling signifikan. TikTok unggul dalam variasi dan relevansi konten serta akurasi rekomendasi, sementara Instagram Reels lebih menonjol dalam desain antarmuka. Kombinasi pendekatan EUCS dan SLR memberikan wawasan holistik mengenai pengalaman pengguna, yang dapat digunakan oleh pengembang aplikasi untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan
IDENTIFIKASI RHODAMIN-B DALAM LIPTINT YANG BEREDAR DI MAHASISWI FARMASI UNIVERSITAS MUHAMMADIYAH GRESIK
Get PDFGood cosmetics are cosmetics that do not contain ingredients harmful to the skin or other body health, such as rhodamin-B dye. Lipstick is the most widely used decorative cosmetic product, one type of lipstick is lip tint.According to the Regulation of the Head of the POM RI Agency No.18 of 2015 concerning Technical Requirements for Cosmetic Materials, prohibited dyes include Red K3 and K10 dyes (Rhodamin-B) but are widely misused in lipsticks. Rhodamin-B is a synthetic dye used in the textile and paper industry.Rhodamin-B is harmful to the body due to its chemical properties and contains heavy metals, for example such as chlorine and alkylating compounds. Based on preliminary studies that have been carried out, as many as 33.33% of Pharmacy Students of the University of Muhammadiyah Gresik used lip tint and there were four lip tint samples that were tested. Based on the results of three types of qualitative tests, namely Rhodamin-B kits, thin layer chromatography and lip tint sample staining tests, it was concluded that there was no rhodamin-B hazardous material content in the four circulating samples. 
Pembuatan Nugget Lele Sebagai Produk Pangan Lokal Bergizi Untuk Keluarga Bersama Ibu PKK di Desa Tenggor Balongpanggang
Get PDFIkan lele merupakan salah satu ikan air tawar yang mengandung sumber protein dan kandungan zat gizi lainnya yang tinggi. Pemanfaatan bahan pangan lokal Desa Tenggor Balongpanggang, menciptakan produk pangan lokal yang kaya akan zat gizi. Pembuatan olahan ikan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan daya terima masyarakat, terutama anak-anak, maka dilaksanakan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan sasaran Ibu PKK. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilaksanakan dengan memberikan pelatihan secara langsung pengolahan nugget ikan lele. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian adalah adanya antusias para peserta dan peningkatan pengetahuan tentang kandungan gizi ikan lele, serta peningkatan kreatifitas olahan sumber protein hewani terutama ikan lele di Desa Tenggor Balongpanggang
