    Prediction Of 3D Digital Map Coverage For UHF Wireless Radio Performance Under Multipath Propagation

    This paper presents prediction of 3D digital terrain mapping for mobile radio coverage in the case of multipath fading under different frequencies, 900MHz and 1300MHz. Three multipath models are introduced in this study, Egli, Hata, and Lee. The results obtained in the present work involve analyzing the effects of path loss prediction models such as Okumara`s-Hata model, Lee`s model and Egli model on multipath propagation. The DMC contours for multipath of a Base station are constructed. The results show that the Egli model produces greater ranges than Okumara`s-Hata model and Lee`s model. Also DMC contours for multipath model are greater and has a higher probability of detection and higher detection ranges than Okumara`s-Hata model, taking the same receiver height. This study is a new approach and development for predicting the 3D land topography and digital terrain mapping of Wireless Radio systems such as landing and Beacon systems offering time, cost and accuracy for the UHF mobile radio sitting

    Anthemis cotula L. from Jordan: Essential oil composition, LC-ESI-MS/MS profiling of phenolic acids - flavonoids and in vitro antioxidant activity

    Essential oils of the leaves and flowers of Anthemis cotula L. (family Asteraceae) grown in Jordan were extracted by hydro-distillation and then analyzed by GC–MS. Sesquiterpenes hydrocarbons (SH) were the dominant components in the oils extracted from leaves and flowers of A. cotula. γ-Muurolene and aromadendrene, were the major compounds that were obtained from the flowers oil, while γ-muurolene and trans-cadinene ether were detected as major ingredients in the leaves extract. LC-MS analysis was carried out to identify the significant compounds from each extract. Additionally, butanol (B), aqueous methanol (M) and water (W) extracts prepared from the flowers and the leaves of A. cotula were analysed by LC-MS/MS. Apigenin and chlorogenic acid were the main constituents detected in the flowers’ alcoholic extracts and leaves’ aqueous extract. Moreover, the essential oils and all prepared extracts were assayed for their total antioxidant activity using the DPPH, ABTS, and ferrous ion chelating effect (FIC) assay methods. All investigated oils and extracts showed interesting activity as compared to the positive controls employed (α-tocopherol and ascorbic acid)

    Caregiver’s Knowledge regarding Homecare Management of Spastic Cerebral Palsy Children Under 12 Years Old in Rapareen Province

    Background and objectives: Spasticity, sometimes called hypertonia, makes movement difficult or even impossible. Spastic children with Cerebral Palsy face many health problems that need significant attention at home. This study aimed to assess caregivers’ knowledge about home care management of spastic CP children in the Rapareen Region. Methods: A quantitative, descriptive cross-sectional study was carried out in the Rapareen Region of Sulaimani city. The period started from October 1st, 2020, to October 1st, 2021. Purposive (non-probability) sampling techniques of 115 caregivers, who attend rehabilitation centers in Ranya, Chwarqwrne, and Qaladeze in Rapareen province, were respectively recruited to the study. The investigators prepared a questionnaire format after reviewing related literature. Direct interview (face to face) and a home visit was conducted to collect the data. Descriptive statistics SPSS version 25 was used, and statistics of frequencies, percentages, and inferential statistical analysis of Chi-square test and regression were used. Results: The vast majority (98.3%) of the primary caregivers were mothers of spastic CP children. Almost all (94.8) of the caregivers were married. The majority (88.7%) of caregivers were housewives. Less than half (48.7%) of the sample were between 31 to 40 years. More than three quarter (67%) of the sample were male children and more than half (65.2%) were School-age children with Spastic Cerebral Palsy. There was a statistically highly significant association between formal years of education and residency area of caregiver with the caregiver’s knowledge at a p-value of 0.020 and 0.003 respectively. Factors significantly associated with caregivers’ knowledge of homecare of spastic CP children include the level of education of caregiver, age of caregiver, and height of spastic Cerebral Palsy children. Conclusion: The findings of the present study showed that level of education, age of caregiver, and residency areas are associated with caregiver’s knowledge regarding homecare of spastic Cerebral Palsy children

    Since constitutions and laws expressly stipulate immunizing public liberties from restriction, this immunization may not be misused for anything other than the purpose intended by the legislator, such that it leads to an assault on public order. Taking advantage of the immunity granted to him by the constitution on the one hand and the ambiguity of public order on the other hand, and to that end, the constitutions and laws of France, Egypt, Iraq and the Kurdistan Region stipulated, in addition to the right to exercise public freedoms, by restricting them not to violate public order. However, it neglected to mention this along with some other liberties. It gave the executive authority the responsibility to add that the executive authority should be granted the right to restrict these freedoms even with the absence of a text granting the executive authority to restrict freedoms when their exercise led to a danger to public order

The existence and uniqueness for the variational form proved. The convergence of the presented scheme is given. Numerical experiments are considered to confirm our theoretical results

    The Effect of Openings’ Size and Location on Selected Dynamical Properties of Typical Wood Frame Walls

    The wooden frame constructions are now popular in many developed countries of the world. Many of these locations where such buildings are constructed are exposed to seismic and other shocks which are generated by human activities. This paper discusses the effect of the size and location of openings in the wooden frame walls under dynamic loadings. Natural frequencies of such frames with and without openings have been determined. Three 14 m high walls with different widths, including 3, 6, and 12 m, have been considered. Dynamic analysis has been made using finite element method structural analysis software Dlubal RFEM 5.17. The results show that the effect of the size and location of the openings on the natural frequency is significant. Numerically speaking, the relative change of the natural frequencies of a wall without and with an opening in a specific place could be up to 30%. In addition, the change of the natural frequency for the location of the openings is more sensitive than that to the sizes. Furthermore, the appropriate sizes and locations of openings of the wooden frame walls have been suggested. The appropriate size and place were found to be small openings in the top of the walls

    Congruous coronavirus drug targets and analogous lead molecules must be identified as quickly as possible to produce antiviral therapeutics against human coronavirus (HCoV SARS 3CLpro) infections. In the present communication, we bear recognized a HIT candidate for HCoV SARS 3CLpro inhibition. Four Parametric GA-MLR primarily based QSAR model (R2:0.84, R2adj:0.82, Q2loo: 0.78) was once promoted using a dataset over 37 structurally diverse molecules along QSAR based virtual screening (QSAR-VS), molecular docking (MD) then molecular dynamic simulation (MDS) analysis and MMGBSA calculations. The QSAR-based virtual screening was utilized to find novel lead molecules from an in-house database of 100 molecules. The QSAR-vS successfully offered a hit molecule with an improved PEC50 value from 5.88 to 6.08. The benzene ring, phenyl ring, amide oxygen and nitrogen, and other important pharmacophoric sites are revealed via MD and MDS studies. Ile164, Pro188, Leu190, Thr25, His41, Asn46, Thr47, Ser49, Asn189, Gln191, Thr47, and Asn141 are among the key amino acid residues in the S1 and S2 pocket. A stable complex of a lead molecule with the HCoV SARS 3CLpro was discovered using MDS. MM-GBSA calculations resulted from MD simulation results well supported with the binding energies calculated from the docking results. The results of this study can be exploited to develop a novel antiviral target, such as an HCoV SARS 3CLpro Inhibitor

    Undergraduate Foreign Language Learners Perspective on Project Based Learning

    Project Based Learning has a long history which received contributions from many famous names. Projects are of great importance in the process of education due to the helpful features it provides for the teachers and students. The type of projects used can vary, but that does not change the fact that it can be used by teachers to have students apply the knowledge they have learned. The purpose of this research was to explore the perspectives of students on Project Based Learning to determine whether this method was viewed positively. This study transpired in the Education Departments of Tishk International University in Erbil, Kurdistan. A survey of seven questions was administered in this research, and the total number of 100 surveys was gathered from students of the Tishk International University Education Faculty. The students were members of the English Language Teaching, Biology, Physics, and Math departments and varied within stages, which ranged from 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. Their participation in the survey did not affect their grades and was strictly voluntary. The statistics analyzed in this study presented that students perceive Project Based Learning as effective, and the majority recommend this method of teaching and learning

    Effect of Plant Growth Regulators, Basal Media Strength and Carbon Sources on Hylocereus Costaricensis (Red Dragon Fruit) Seed Germination

    Hylocereus costaricensis, commonly known as red dragon fruit or ‘pitaya,’ is famous for its purple-red flesh. It has achieved international recognition as an ornamental plant and secondly as a commercial fruit crop. Containing high level of vitamin C and antioxidants like betalans, hydroxycinnamates and flavonoids that includes edible fibre with numerous health benefits including weight loss, improve digestion, lower LDL cholesterol, and boost immune system. However, there is no large-scale production of dragon fruit because the seed storage viability is not reliable; the present study aims to employ tissue culture techniques supplied with different plant growth regulators (PGRs), the strength of growth media, and carbon sources. Seed germination was determined by growing the seeds in media enriched with benzyl aminopurine (BAP) 1 mg/L, 2 mg/L BAP, and 15 mg/L gibberellins (GA). Then, the seed growth was measured under different strengths of Murashige and Skoog (MS) basal media, which are full strength, 1/2, 1/4 and 1/8 strength, that promoted the seed germination the most. The percentage of seed germination was determined, and the effects of seed germination was measured by the period of seed to germinate, shoot length, and root length of the plants. In this study, all the dragon fruit seeds were successfully germinated. The seed shows the higher germination is MS + 2 mg/L BAP within 2 days, but the elongation of the shoot is not the fastest. The seed germination is effective in 1/8 media strength on day 2; the seeds are already germinated. However, the elongation for roots and shoots is the best in 1/2 media strength. The effect of carbon sources influences the fastest day to germinate, demonstrated in sucrose 30 g/L but not for root and shoot length. The 30 g/L glucose enhances the root length the highest, which is 2.48 cm. The average shoot length shows in TCS0 and TCS3 was similar, which was 1.38 cm. The effect of carbon sources that boost the shoot length the most is in TCS3 (2.04 cm), fructose 15 g/L. Those factors should be considered to enhance the best condition for dragon fruit planting and achieve the large-scale production

    Students` Opinions about the Use of Geogebra Computer Program as a Technological Tool in Mathematics Lessons

    Students' attitudes towards mathematics are generally negative. The difficulty of the course has an important role in the development of this attitude. However, with some new arrangements to be made, students can be interested in the lesson. In this study, it is discussed to what extent the GeoGebra program makes the mathematics content attractive. For this purpose, two separate Likert scale questionnaires were applied to 12th grade students. In the first of the questionnaires, students' attitudes towards mathematics were determined. In the second, students' attitudes towards the GeoGebra program were revealed. Accordingly, students have increased their interest in mathematics a little bit thanks to the GeoGebra program
