Biological Evaluation of Garcinia kola Heckel
Garcinia kola belongs to the Garcinia genus of the Clusiaceae family and Malpighiales order. It contains more than 180
members all over the globe. It is found all over Asia and in tropical African countries. In Africa, traditionally, G kola is used to
manage and treat cancer, diabetes, malaria, analgesics, hypertension, and other numerous ailments. �is review aimed to
comprehensively update relevant information regarding the pharmacological potential of Garcinia kola. Electronic databases
such as ScienceDirect, PubMed, Wiley, Google Scholar, Hindawi, and Springer extracted valuable information from original
scienti�c research papers. Inclusion Criteria. Antioxidant, antimicrobial, antidiabetic, antibacterial, medications, antiviral,
traditional medicine, ethnopharmacology, toxicity, cytotoxic action, chemical composition, mineral elements, GCMS analysis,
and any other related phrases were used as �lters to �nd studies. Exclusion Criteria. Data from questionable online sources, as
well as thesis reports and review publications, were excluded from this investigation. �e investigation revealed that seeds of G.
kola are very e�cient as antioxidant, antimicrobial, antidiabetic, antihypertension, antianalgesic, and anti-in�ammatory. �e
study also found that too much consumption of the seeds caused low fertility and toxicity. However, the safety and e�cacy of G.
kola have not been wholly assessed in humans, and further well-designed clinical trials are needed to corroborate preclinical
�ndings. �e mechanism of action of the seed extract should be examined. �e standard dose and safety of the seed should

Leadership Style And Affective Commitment At Family Businesses
Leadership is one of the key factors in the success of any company. Similarly, commitment of
employees and leadership is regarded as a critical factor for the organizational productivity. In this respect,
the aim of the current study is to investigate the suitable leadership styles based on its effects on employee
affective commitment at family businesses in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Accordingly, approximately 400
data have been collected from 35 various family businesses in the region. After evaluation, 388 data have been
accepted for the further analyses. Data has been evaluated via SPSS and AMOS software packages. Based on
the results, it has been observed that ethical leadership significantly leveraged employee’s affective
commitment at the family businesses. Besides, transactional leadership had positive effects on employee
affective commitment, while transformational leadership did not. Therefore, it’s recommended that
residential managers should follow ethical conduct and guidelines to improve employee affective commitment
in the region

A New 2×2-Element Subarray Antenna Synthesis Based on Waveguide Cavity Resonators
A new design of a 2×2-element subarray antenna based on an all-cavity resonator structure is presented in this article. A novel topology which employs only two resonators to lay out the subarray is proposed, and two X-band rectangular waveguide cavity resonators are utilized for the subarray physical implementation. The first resonator is a conventional half-guided resonator operating at the TE101 mode. The second resonator, which is an oversized TE102 resonator based, is modified in order to keep the TE101 mode to propagate within the bandwidth of interest and facilitate the connection with four radiating apertures. The developed coupling matrix approach is utilized to calculate the desirable frequency response, which is a standard 2nd order Chebyshev response with introducing filtering functionality to the realised gain response of the subarray. The simulation results obtained by two simulation softwares (CST and Ansoft HFSS) validate the calculation results. An extremely wide impedance bandwidth of 23% at center frequency 10 GHz when the reflection coefficient S11 = -10 dB is obtained. A very stable realised gain with less than 0.5 dBi variations over the bandwidth of interest (8.8-11.1 GHz) is obtained with a peak gain value of 13.1 dBi at 11 GHz. The radiation patterns have very low side lobe levels, particularly in the E-plane, due to the existence of small non-radiating area and maintaining small spacing between the radiating apertures. The proposed 2×2-element subarray has the advantages of wider bandwidth and low profile compared with our and other previous 2×2-element subarrays
Evaluation of sexual dimorphism by radiographic analysis of mental orifice and mandibular height in a sample of Kurdish population of Iraq
Background: A vital part of forensic anthropology is to differentiate between sexes by morphologic analysis of osseous tissue. One of these osseous structures that displays a significant degree of sexual dimorphism is mandibular bone. Gender variances in the mandibular anatomy, from its height, position of mental orifice, gonial angle, bigonial width and bicondylar breadth have been observed in various studies.This study was aimed at evaluating the sexual dimorphism based on the average length between the upper and the lower edge of the mental orifice to the mandibular lower border and the mandibular height on right and left side of the jaw on digital panoramic radiographs in a sample of Kurdish population of Iraq. Methods: Panoramic radiographs of 460 patients (230 males and 230 females) were included in the study. The length from both inferior and superior margins of mental orifice to the mandibular lower border and the mandibular height in the mental orifice region was measured on both left and right sides. The data was statistically analysed to estimate the differences among the sexes using Independent sample t-test. Results:The mandibular height in the mental orifice region from alveolar crest to mandibular lower border was more in males as compared to the females, this being statistically significant. The length from superior margin and inferior margin of mental orifice to the mandibular lower border and the mandibular height was more in males as compared to females but was not statistically significant. Conclusion: The height of the mandible in the mental orifice region showed significant sexual dimorphism in the sample of Erbil population
The impact of economic uncertainty, economic growth and energy consumption on environmental degradation in MENA countries: Fresh insights from multiple thresholds NARDL approach
This paper explores the influence of economic policy uncertainty on environmental quality in selected MENA countries depending on an augmented STIRPAT model over the period 1970–2020. ARDL model and its extensions like augmented ARDL, augmented NARDL, and MTNARDL models are applied to detect any possible effect from uncertainty index to carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. The empirical results reveal the validity of environmental Kuznet curve (EKC) curve in all the countries. Moreover, the results show that the uncertainty index enhances environmental degradation, especially in extremely large changes in Morocco, Turkey, and Iran. Besides, the findings reveal that energy consumption and population in the entire sample escalates CO2 emissions over the study period. Consequently, policymakers in MENA countries should consider the economic uncertainty index, particularly in light of its recent rise, when developing any strategies and plans aimed at improving environmental standards, as well as the need to encourage the use of renewable energies in order to increase the percentage of their contribution to total energy consumption
WHAT MAKES AN ATTRACTIVE USER-FRIENDLY STREET? EXPLORING PERCEPTIONS OF MAWLAWI SHOPPING STREET ENVIRONMENT IN THE CONTEXT OF SULAYMANIYAH CITY, IRAQ
Streets are one of the vital components of an urban form that supports the city dwellers’ public and private activities. Therefore, the purpose of attraction is necessary for persuading people to use the street and presenting the image of the city. Thus, the problem statement of this paper is that attractiveness of the shopping street decreases due to the presence of too much traffic management, and an uncomfortable environment attributed to an over-presence of traffic lights. Therefore, the objective of this paper is to determine the attraction factors associated with the user-friendliness of the shopping streets. This paper uses a case study approach of Mawlawi Street in Sulaymaniyah city in Iraq. The methodology used is the quantitative method via a survey of users (n = 330). The data were analysed statistically by SPSS using the mean values. The results show that the cultural attraction factor is the strongest form that contributes to people using the shopping street with a mean value of 3.1446. It is expected that the findings from this study will help designers, urban planners and policymakers to understand the needs and attitudes of users towards creating an attractive user-friendly shopping street environment in Iraq

This paper examines Smart Learning Environments (SLE) as a novel educational strategy for comprehending the impact and potential applications of technologies in the classroom. This article aims to clarify the theoretical approach to SLE and develop a novel model based on it. This research paper focused on the analysis of the existing learning spaces at Tishk International University that is used by the students of Engineering Faculty. The research proposed a modification on the learning spaces to be smart learning environment. The applied modifications will be in two main aspects, first aspect by redesign the learning spaces according to the standard to guarantee the most interactions between the instructor and the students, the second aspect by implementing a smart system at each learning space to ensure safety, security and provide a comfortable environment to the students during their time at the lesson

Pre-School Education and Different Approaches That Emerged in Historical Development
The history of pre-education is quite recent. In fact, in order for this education to start, it was necessary to wait for the formal education to spread to the whole society. Pre-school education, which emerged and designed to meet the needs of post-industrial societies, gave importance to the cognitive, affective and psychomotor development of students. Especially the educational needs of post-war societies also required pre-school education. In this context, three different approaches to pre-school education have emerged. The common point of these approaches is that they adopt a democratic education model and reject the authoritarian teacher role in the traditional education model. Thus, a reflection of humanity’s democratization adventure in the modern age has also shown itself in education models
