    Strategies to overcome the main challenges of the use of exosomes as drug carrier for cancer therapy

    Exosomes are naturally occurring nanosized particles that aid intercellular communication by transmitting biological information between cells. Exosomes have therapeutic efficacy that can transfer their contents between cells as natural carriers. In addition, the exosomal contents delivered to the recipient pathological cells significantly inhibit cancer progression. However, exosome-based tumor treatments are inadequately precise or successful, and various challenges should be adequately overcome. Here, we discuss the significant challenges that exosomes face as drug carriers used for therapeutic targets and strategies for overcoming these challenges in order to promote this new incoming drug carrier further and improve future clinical outcomes. We also present techniques for overcoming these challenges

    University students' memories of their secondary science education experiences

    Students' attitudes and perceptions about a course of study and their career choices are influenced by their prior educational experiences. These experiences also apply to physics education, which is not exempt from this process. University students' attitudes toward physics classes during their high school years, the teaching methods used in the course, and their opinions about studying physics are investigated in this study. Students majoring in education, engineering, and health sciences at a university in northern Iraq participated in the survey. The survey collected data from 243 students. The researchers designed a survey that was used to collect data. Descriptive statistics, cluster analysis, and the Mann–Whitney and Kruskal–Wallis tests were used to answer the research questions. The results show that students' opinions about high school physics classes can be positive. Students' attitudes and thoughts do not change according to gender, school status, grade level, or departments. The use of technology and supporting course materials were effective in all dimensions

We study the matrix domains hd(Cq) = (hd)Cq and bv(Cq)=(bv)Cq, where Cq is the q-Cesàro matrix, 0 < q < 1. Apart from the inclusion relations and Schauder basis, we compute α-, β- and γ-duals of the spaces hd(Cq) and bv(Cq). We state and prove theorems concerning characterization of matrix classes from the spaces hd(Cq) and bv(Cq) to any one of the space ℓ∞, c, c0 or ℓ1. Finally, we obtain certain identities concerning characterization of compact operators using Hausdorff measure of non-compactness in the space hd(Cq)

    Talent Management and Effectiveness of Recruitment Process: A Study of Higher Education Institutions in Central India

    Purpose: The present study aims to investigate the influence of talent management on effectiveness of recruitment process undertaken in higher education institutions in Central India. This paper has clarified the meaning of talent management and why is it crucial. It had explained factors which are important for its effective implementation. Theoretical framework: For this, teachers working in higher education institutions in Central India were selected and data was collected from the selected teachers with the help of a structured questionnaire. The study is based upon various literature review which has been presented in paper. Design: For the purpose of present study, a sample of 200 respondents working in different higher education institutions of the region was selected. Three dimensions of the talent management such as talent acquisition, talent development and succession planning were measured with the help of statements on five-point Likert scale. Similarly, effectiveness of recruitment process in higher education institutions was measured with the help of three statements. Findings highlighted that talent Management was found to be the strongest predictor of effectiveness of the recruitment process being followed in higher educational institutions; followed by talent acquisition and succession planning. Findings: Suggested that educational institutions need to follow a clear talent acquisition and management policy and focus on to acquire talented employees so that their recruitment process becomes effective. Moreover, educational institutions need to organize training programs for employees that would help employees to acquire job related competencies. The benefits of an effectively implemented talent management improves retention ratio. Practical implications: Higher education organizations if inclined towards talent management strategy must ensure that how they define it and it need to be aligned with goals of the organization.Top management need to define clear line accountability and take care of practices with relation to evidence based practices . Originality: This paper will be of value to all organizations seeking to understand Talent management with its impact on recruitment process

    Response Of New Sesamol Analogue And Sesamum Indicum Seeds Extract Against Meningitis Triggering Pathogens

    A certain type of bacteria can cause an upper respiratory tract infection and then travel through the bloodstream to brain and can result in meningitis. Evidence over S. aureus and E. coli to trigger meningitis, antimicrobial potential of Sesamum indicumplant and sesamol intended present study to compare the antimicrobial response of new sesamol analogue (NSA) and Sesamum indicum seeds extract against meningitis triggering pathogens (MTP). Present study involved synthesis of NSA and preparation of sesame seeds extract (SSE). The NSA was characterized using ATR-IR, 1H-NMR and Mass spectrometric data. Both NSA and SSE were tested for antimicrobial potential against MTP, namely: S. aureus and E. coli. Among both, the NSA exhibited much higher antimicrobial potential when compared with SSE. Based on the resultant data present study concludes that NSA possess high inhibition potential against MTP and recommends that NSA should be further evaluated to support its clinical importance

    The Anxiety Level of Students about the Future: Case of Education College of Sharazur at the University of Halabja

    This article aims to understand the level of future anxiety for the students at College of Education in Sharazur. To achieve these goals, researchers have used the method of description. The sample of the study comprised 100 Students of both male and female gender in three different departments (Human Development, Kindergarten, and Kurdish Language). The academic level of the participants was (first year, second year, third year, and fourth year). The tool of the study was the survey questionnaire consisting of 51 items were collected. The researchers analyzed the statistical materials (census center and T-test) For one sample and two samples, they used one directional analysis and one way ANOVA. The results of the study showed that the future anxiety exists among female students of Sharazur Education College more significantly than male students. However, there is an insignificant difference between the departments of Kurdish language and Human Development. So, the anxiety cannot be ascertained among students of those departments

    The effects of blended learning on students’ achievement in a foundation english course: A study on foundation english students at TISHK University in Erbil, Iraq

    Blended learning offers numerous opportunities for learners and teachers with the advancements in web technologies in education. This study explored the effects of blended learning on students’ achievement in Foundation English course. To this aim, 30 freshman students who were studying at TISHK International University in Erbil, Iraq were split into two groups via stratified random sampling with an intervention lasting 12 weeks in 2021-2022 Academic Year. Control group students received a traditional instruction, while experimental group were exposed to a blended learning instruction model. The data were collected through two exams on English competency, a questionnaire and an interview in this mixed methods design study. Subsequently, SPSS 27. and MAXQDA were employed to analyze the data accordingly. The findings indicated that experimental group students who took part in blended learning activities outperformed with 0.001 p-value, while the progress was not significant in control group students who took traditional instruction. Likewise, interview and questionnaire analysis unearthed that asynchronous video lessons and Google Form quizzes enhanced their English proficiency tremendously, increased their self-confidence and improved their motivation. The findings of this study may have some implications for educators who consider the implementation of blended learning in their institutions

    The Green Network Panoramic Vision Erbil City as a Case Study

    Most cities worldwide suffer from the unequal distribution of urban areas and country areas around them and the growth of dangerous environmental issues. One of the primary causes of the imbalance is the continued expansion of building blocks and urban development against the open spaces and green areas either in or out of cities. Furthermore, the natural landscape, in general, has a significant impact on protecting the climate from rising temperatures and pollutants. So the aim of this research is to identify a panoramic vision of a green network and get to ‎use sustainable land in a strong and socially solid society. ‎ As a result, the research problem reads: there is dispersion and disintegration in urban open space planning and its development. To solve the research problem, a hypothesis is proposed stating that “the absence of a panoramic vision of green networks and disconnection with the surrounding region is one of the most important causes of dispersion in those spaces”. Erbil city is one of the Iraqi cities in the northern part, was chosen as a case study to examine the green network components or elements. The results showed that Erbil has many aspects of the green network. This study offers some suggestions to fulfill the missing parts of it

    Chemical Characterization and Detection of Adulteration in Essential Oil of Lavandula Angustifolia Linn. by ATR-FTIR

    Lavandula angustifolia Linn. (Lavender) is an important source of high-quality fragrance and possesses several pharmacological activities such as antianxiety, antidepressant and hypnotic. Because of its high market price and medicinal values, adulteration is very common with L. angustifolia essential oil. The aim of present study is to characterize essential oil and detect adulteration in it by ATR-FTIR method. L. angustifolia essential oil was isolated by the hydrodistillation method and characterized by GC/MS and FTIR. The authentic isolated essential oil of L. angustifolia was further adulterated by sesame oil (0, 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 and 100% v/v) and analyzed by FTIR. The GC/MS analysis of essential oil of L. angustifolia yielded 74 compounds and linalyl acetate (39.28%), linalool (26.76%), and trans--caryophyllene (4.77%) were found as major chemical compounds. The ATR-FTIR results of isolated pure essential oil of L. angustifolia showed characteristic peaks of linalool and linalyl acetate, the major chemical components present in it. For detection of adulteration in L. angustifolia essential oil, different binary-mixtures of L. angustifolia essential oil with sesame oil (0, 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 and 100% v/v) were analyzed, and the results of FTIR analysis shows very strong peaks in the range of 2800 to 3000 cm-1 and at 1739.31 cm-1 in case of adulterated mixtures compared to the pure essential oil of L. angustifolia. The proposed method was found a simple, economic, quick, reliable, and reproducible for the detection of adulteration in L. angustifolia essential oil

    Formulation and Evaluation of Cefotaxime Sodium Loaded Emulgel for Topical Bacterial Infections

    The bacterial infections are very common and become a serious issue like in case of infections of one and more reproductive organ, inflammation on protective membrane of brain and spinal cord, inflammation of lungs air sacs, body drainage system infections, problem in body’s extreme response and infection caused by sexually transmitted bacteria in male and female. Generally, these bacterial infections are treated by using antibiotics like cefotaxime that is a semisynthetic, β-lactamase resistant, third-generation broad-spectrum cephalosporin. The common side effects of cefotaxime are uneasiness of stomach before vomiting, sneezing, itching. The topical antibacterial dosage forms like creams, gel, and ointment have some demerits and low duration of drug release. The emulgel is an alternative for topical drug delivery with several merits like enhanced skin penetration and improved bioavailability, reduced dosing, improved patient acceptability with targeted drug delivery, freedom of termination of the therapy at any time, drug delivery in controlled fashion for prolong duration. The aim of study was to develop a biphasic promising drug delivery system emulgel of cefotaxime. The 23 experimental design was used to prepare various emulgel batches to determinant the effect of liquid paraffin, span 20 and tween 20 on the performance of emulgel. The Batch F1 showed the maximum drug release while batch F8 up to 240 minutes. The drug release kinetics study of Batch F8 showed the Higuchi-Matrix as a best fit model and the Fickian Diffusion as a mechanism of drug release with R2 value 0.9158 and K value 8.4741
