Introduction of the program for the digital transformation of documentation in the production process
Zaradi hitrega tehnološkega napredka so trendi na področju avtomobilske industrije v zadnjem času vse bolj usmerjeni k digitalizaciji procesne dokumentacije in uvedbe brezpapirnega poslovanja. Tako smo tudi v podjetju Cimos d.d. razvili in uvedli nov program Q-TERMINAL. Namen diplomskega dela je olajšati spremljanje kakovosti v proizvodnih procesih podjetja z vpeljavo programa za obvladovanje digitalne dokumentacije. Teoretični del je temeljil na opisni in komparativni metodi, za praktični del diplomskega dela pa je uporabljena kvantitativna metoda. Podatke smo zbrali z anketnim vprašalnikom, ki smo ga izvedli med 41 zaposlenimi v podjetju. Postavili smo 4 hipoteze o uveljavljanju novosti med zaposlenimi.
Ugotovili smo, da 78 % zaposlenih vsakodnevno uporablja program Q-TERMINAL. Da je program dostopen in preprost za uporabo je v anketi odgovorilo 37 zaposlenih, kar predstavlja 90 % vseh vprašanih. Prav tako je program bistveno olajšal in pohitril vpisovanje ter analizo podatkov, kar je potrdilo 38 sodelujočih v anketi, kar predstavlja 93 % vseh vprašanih. Uporabniki so se strinjali, da je Q-TERMINAL prijazen za uporabo 33 oziroma 80 % vprašanih pri delu z njim ni imela nikakršnih težav. Skupni rezultati ankete 89 % potrjujejo, da je program učinkovit in dobro sprejet med zaposlenimi. Predlagane izboljšave, ki so jih podali zaposleni, da se Q-TERMINAL poveže s sistemom SAP za neposredno vpisovanje števila narejenih delov, bomo upoštevali pri naslednjih optimizacijah in nadgradnjah programa, da bo še bolj prijazen končnemu uporabniku, ker je bil razvit prav z namenom, da omogoči hiter in enostaven dostop do informacij, zapise procesnih podatkov ter njihovo analizo.Due to rapid technological advancements the automotive industry has increasingly embraced digitalization, particularly in process documentation and paperless operations. In response to this trend, Cimos has developed and implemented the Q-TERMINAL program. This thesis aims to enhance quality monitoring in the company\u27s production processes through the newly introduced digital documentation system. The theoretical framework is based on descriptive and comparative methods, while the practical research adopts a quantitative approach. Data were collected through a survey of 41 employees and four hypotheses were formulated regarding the adoption of innovations within the company.
The findings indicate that 78 % of employees use Q-TERMINAL daily. A total of 37 employees (90 % of respondents) reported that the program is accessible and easy to use. Moreover, 38 participants (93 %) confirmed that the system has significantly improved and accelerated data entry and analysis. Additionally, 80 % of respondents (33 employees), reported no difficulties in using the program. Overall, 89 % of survey respondents affirmed that Q-TERMINAL is effective and well-received within the company. Based on employee feedback, future enhancements to Q-TERMINAL will prioritize its integration with the SAP system to enable direct entry of production data. This upgrade will further streamline operations, reduce manual input errors and enhance overall efficiency. By continuously evolving, Q-TERMINAL reinforces its core purpose of providing seamless access to critical information, optimizing process documentation and supporting data-driven decision-making within the company
Is the symbiotic recurrent nova T CrB late?
T CrB is a symbiotic recurrent nova that last erupted in 1946. Given its recurrence time-scale of approximately 80 yr, the next outburst is eagerly anticipated by the astronomical community. In this work, we analyse the optical light curves of T CrB, comparing recent photometric evolution with historical data to evaluate potential predictive indicators of nova eruptions. Although the ‘superactive’ phases preceding both the 1946 and anticipated eruptions are strikingly similar, the subsequent photometric behaviour differs. We find that the decline in brightness observed in 2023, interpreted by some as a ‘pre-eruption dip’, deviates from the deep minimum recorded prior to the 1946 event and does not reliably predict the eruption timing. Recent photometric and spectroscopic observations indicate that the system is returning to a high-accretion state. Given this, an eruption may be imminent, even without distinct precursors. While the next eruption of T CrB will be a major scientific event, its expected peak brightness of mag highlights the importance of setting realistic public expectations for what will be a visually modest, yet astrophysically very significant, celestial event
A unique mixture of monoterpenes and volatile phenols characterises Zelen wine\u27s aromatic profile
This study aimed to characterise the aromatic uniqueness of Zelen (Vitis vinifera L.) wines, an
autochthonous variety from the Vipava Valley located in Western Slovenia, through chemical
and sensory assessment. Seventy aromatic compounds, including varietal thiols, esters, C6-
alcohols, volatile phenols, terpenoids, and norisoprenoids, were analysed by HS-SPME-GCMS
in two surveys comparing Zelen wines with four other varieties grown in Vipava Valley.
The olfactory space of Zelen wines was defined by comparing their aromatic profiles with
those of Pinela wines in a sorting task and by the sniffing of aromatic fractions obtained by
HPLC fractionation. Zelen wines were characterised by dried herbs and spicy notes such as
thyme, rosemary, and basil in comparison to Pinela wines. The chemical profile of Zelen wines
was dominated by the presence of an original mixture of monoterpenes, including terpinene
isomers, limonene, p-cymene, terpinolene, linalool, and α-terpineol, as well as volatile phenols,
4-vinylguaiacol, and methyl salicylate. The obtained concentrations of 4-vinylguaiacol and
methyl salicylate were at levels close to or above the reported olfactory threshold, thus inferring
a potential contribution of these compounds to the spicy aromatic components of Zelen wines.
Two aromatic fractions reminiscent of herbal notes specific to Zelen wines–isolated by HPLC
semi-preparative fractionation and further analysed by HS-SPME-GC-MS–revealed the
presence of an original mixture of hydrocarbon monoterpenes, including the compounds that
were quantitatively measured, and others, such as β-myrcene, β-phellandrene, E-β-ocimene,
Z-β-ocimene, and two 2,4,6-octatriene-2,6-dimethyl isomers. Semi-quantitative measurements
showed that this new group of monoterpenes was also present at higher levels in Zelen than in
Pinela, Malvasia Istriana, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon blanc wines

Orography‐induced atmospheric small‐scale waves during Bora using lidar observations and numerical simulations
Atmospheric flow of cold air over mountain barriers in the Alpine region often gives a rise to
strong and gusty downslope wind, Bora. Such flows are often accompanied by atmospheric waves, generated by the flow passing an elevated barrier. Such phenomenon can only rarely be observed visually and can generally not be reliably reproduced by simplified numerical models. Orography‐induced atmospheric small‐scale waves were experimentally observed on 25 January 2019 during a Bora outbreak in the Vipava valley, Slovenia. A vertical scanning lidar, positioned at the lee side of the Trnovski gozd mountain and a fixed direction lidar, 5 km apart in the Vipava valley, were used to characterize the density field. The flow exhibited a stationary jump after the mountain ridge and, superimposed, an oscillatory flow pattern. High‐resolution numerical simulations complemented the observations and supported experimental results on the flow periodicity but also on the wave structures and propagation characteristics
Clause Mates matter
In this talk, we investigate multiple sluicing and multiple wh-questions in Bosnian/Croatian/Montenegrin/Serbian (BCMS). (1) Based on novel data, we argue that the Clause-Mate Condition (CMC) is operative in the case of multiple sluicing in BCMS, contra previous influential claims (Lasnik 2014). (2) We explore the CMC-related locality restrictions on multiple wh-questions and show that the wh-phrases must also originate from the same clause
Bipartite exhaustification
This short note presents an empirical puzzle: the Vietnamese counterpart of any has two morphological variants, only one of which, namely the more complex one, is acceptable under an existential modal. The note then discusses a theory of any whose explanation of the acceptability of any under existential modals requires exhaustification. The Vietnamese fact is then shown to follow from the theory under the assumption that exhaustification has a bipartite syntax. The note ends with some open questions for further research
