    PENGARUH KONSEP DIRI DAN KECEMASAN BELAJAR MATEMATIKA TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIS SISWA

    Mathematics is an essential topic in science. But many pupils struggle with maths. Individual pupils' self-concept and anxiety about studying mathematics are factors that impact learning results. This study investigates the effects of self-concept and mathematics learning anxiety on students' mathematical learning results. The approach used in this study is quantitative research, and the population includes all class VIII students at SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Medan, academic year 2024/2025. The samples used in this study were gathered by a simple random sampling procedure, and they were from classes VIII 1 and VIII 2. This study examined quantitative data in the form of self-concept, mathematical anxiety, and mathematical learning outcomes from students. To acquire this information, researchers employed three quantitative data collection methods: surveys, tests, and documentation. Inferential statistical analysis, multiple regression analysis, and hypothesis testing were utilized to analyse the data. According to study data, the notion of self has little influence on student learning outcomes. In contrast, worry over studying mathematics has a significant impact on student learning results. However, it was discovered that both self-concept and mathematics learning anxiety might impact student learning results.

    The purpose of the research was to analyze the idiomatic translation found in “The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn” By Stephanie Meyer. The result of the research is the idiomatic translations method which is found in the novel and analyzed by using the theory of translation from Newmark. Based on the data analysis, the writer found some proofs that the data which were translated used idiomatic translation method. In analyzing translation process, the writer compared with other translation methods. The purpose was that the writer showed the translation method used by the translator was idiomatic translation method. In translation, the translator paid attention to the meaning of source language so that the message in target language can be received by the readers.

    KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS MATEMATIS SISWA PADA MATERI RELASI DAN FUNGSI

    The purpose of this study was to describe the extent of mathematical critical thinking skills of junior high school students on the material of relations and functions. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach involving 3 students from 39 students of class VIII SMPN 3 Cihampelas as research subjects. Data was collected through giving test questions related to relation and function material and interviews to gain in-depth understanding. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that students' mathematical critical thinking skills in relation and function material can be classified as quite good. This can be seen from the number of students who are in the medium category. While some others are in the high and low categories. Students who have high mathematical critical thinking skills can fulfill all five indicators of mathematical critical thinking, namely elementery clarification, basic support, advance clarification, strategy and tactic, inference. Students in the medium category were only unable to fulfill the inference indicator, while students in the low category were only able to fulfill the elementary clarification indicator

    Masih rendahnya tingkat literasi sains siswa yang disebabkan kebiasaan pembelajaran IPA yang masih bersifat konvensional membuat pentingnya kehadiran sebuah media pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran Powtoon materi ekologi dan keanekaragaman hayati Indonesia yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (RD) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE, dengan lima tahapan, yaitu analysis, design, depelopment, implementation, dan evaluation. Teknk pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar validasi ahli media dan materi, instrumen tes, dan angket respon. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji validitas Aiken’s V, persentase sebagai perhitungan skor respon siswa, serta skor N-gain sebagai perhitungan keefektifan media. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh validitas dari para ahli media sebesar 0,72 dengan kategori valid serta memperoleh skor validitas dari para ahli materi sebesar 0,69 dengan kategori valid. Aspek kepraktisan mendapat skor 86% dengan kategori sangat praktis, serta aspek keefektifan mendapat skor 0,68 termasuk kedalam kategori sedang

    ELECTROMAGNETIC RADIATION OF EXTREMELY LOW FREQUENCY (ELF)

    The spectrum emitted by electromagnetic wave radiation has various frequencies, one of which is Extremely Low Frequency (ELF), and is often found in educational environments, originating from various electronic devices, high voltage electrical panels, and internet network supporting devices. Based on this description, it is necessary to measure ELF electromagnetic radiation in the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences environment at Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. This research was carried out by measuring magnetic field values (µT) at 42 location points using a Portable Electromagnetic Field Tester (EMF Tester). The research results show that all of these location points are within the safe threshold based on ICNIRP and WHO regulations, namely below 200 µT, with the highest ELF magnetic field value is 2.81 µT, and the lowest ELF magnetic field value is 0.003 µT. However, there are several studies showing that exposure to ELF electromagnetic field radiation can produce free radicals, causing cell damage. The results of this research can be used as a basis for making health policies for the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences academic community at Universitas Negeri Gorontalo

    KEMAMPUAN KOGNITIF PESERTA DIDIK MELALUI MODEL PROJECT BASED LEARNING BERWAWASAN LINGKUNGAN

    Penelitian yang dilakukan dilatar belakangi oleh lingkungan belajar yang tidak menarik dan peserta didik tidak mendapatkan pengalaman belajarnya sehingga kemampuan kognitif peserta didik masih rendah. Penelitian yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan kognitif peserta didik melalui pembelajaran menggunakan model project based learning berwawasan lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan yaitu deskriftif kuantitatif. Dengan menggunakan teknik purposiv sampling. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VII A MTs Nurul Huda yang berada di Kabupaten Sukabumi pada tahun ajaran 2022/2023 semester genap. Instrumen berupa tes kemampuan kognitif. Hasil yang didapatkan yaitu rata-rata pretest 46,06 ± 11 dan posttest 73,33 ± 10. Persentase rerata kemampuan kognitif peserta didik sebesar 67,9% termasuk ke dalam kategori baik. Adapun persentase setiap indikator kemampuan kognitif adalah C1 sebesar 79,1%, C2 sebesar 73,5%, C3 sebesar 59,1%, C4 sebesar 68,2%, C5 dan C6 sebesar 63,6%. Dengan demikian model project based learning berwawasan lingkungan berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan kognitif peserta didik

    Gerak peluru merupakan gerak yang bentuk lintasannya berbentuk seperti parabola. Gerak ini memadukan dua sumbu yakni sumbu horizontal dan vertikal. Lagrange Multiplier merupakan temuan dari Joseph Loius de Lagrange, dimana hal tersebut merupakan pengembangan dari hukum kedua Newton. Metode lagrange merupakan metode yang terdiri dari energi kinetik dan. Posisi dan kecepatan merupakan perumusan yang digunakan dalam koordinatnya. Kajian gerak peluru menggunakan lagrangian sangat penting digunakan dalam menganalisis gaya yang tidak memungkinkan. Gaya yang bervariasi dan arahnya yang berubah-ubah, serta sistem yang terdiri dari lebih dari satu objek sehingga tidak memungkinkan untuk menganalisis gayanya satu per satu. Formulasi lagrange sangat umum dan dapat diaplikasikan di koordinat apapun (diterapkan dimana-mana). Sehingga, dalam hal ini perlunya pengkajian gerak peluru menggunakan lagrangian. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan perhitungan numerik. Adapun pendekatan yang dilakukan ialah studi pustaka. Sumber-sumber berupa jurnal dengan topik yang relevan atau linier dengan judul penelitian berfungsi sebagai sumber data utama. Hasil perhitungan gerak peluru khususnya pada persamaan Lagrangian diperoleh hasil, dimana sumbu x dan y mengalami GLB dan sumbu z mengalami GLBB. Gerak peluru dengan tiga (3) sumbu dapat dikaji atau dianalisis menggunakan lagrangian, untuk gerak yang searah sumbu x dan sumbu y atau arah gerak horizontal dimana tidak terpengaruh oleh gaya gravitasi dan tidak memiliki percepatan sehingga mengalami gerak lurus beraturan (GLB). Dengan kata lain geraknya lurus beraturan dan kecepatan di semua titik konstan. Sedangkan pada sumbu z, dipengaruhi oleh gaya gravitasi sehingga mengalami gerak lurus berubah beraturan (GLBB)

    The aim of this research is to determine the validity, practicality and effectiveness of the Flipbook-Assisted E-Module on the Algebra Function Derivative Application Material for Class XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 8 Lubuklinggau. The research used is RD using the ADDIE model. Data collection techniques are interviews, observation, questionnaires and tests. The research subjects were students of class XI Science 2 at SMA Negeri 8 Lubuklinggau.It is-assisted moduleflipbook what was developed was declared valid, this was based on a language validator of 0.86, a media validator of 0.94 and a material validator of 0.95. The results of the validity test recapitulation show a high score with an average of 0.91. The teacher's practicality result is 4.85, testone to one evaluation was 4.52, small group practicality was 4.31, it was concluded thatIt is-assisted moduleflipbook in the application material for algebraic function derivatives, it shows an average score of 4.56 and is said to be practical. Effectiveness based on scoreN-gain amounting to 0.71 in the high category. therefore it is concluded thatIt is-The flipbook-assisted module on the application of algebraic function derivatives developed is valid, practical and effective

    ANALISIS EFEKTIVITAS MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROJECT-BASED LEARNING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA KELAS VII SMP BOARDING-SCHOOL

    This study aimed to determine which learning model was effective between Project-Based Learning (PjBL) and conventional learning models and describe the PjBL and conventional models on mathematics learning outcomes regarding data and diagram material in seventh grade SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Samarinda. This research was analyzed with mixed methods. The results showed the PjBL class an average posttest score which was higher than the average of the conventional class, with N-Gain scores of 80% (high criteria) and 49% (medium criteria) respectively. Another thing that proves the PjBL model was effective in improving math learning outcomes was the students' positive response, which was 81% with good criteria. This was also supported by the results of student interviews that they were interested and enthusiastic about learning math-based projects. Based on the research results, the PjBL model was described as a model that can arouse students' learning attention through projects related to daily activities. Therefore, the PjBL model was effectively applied to math learning because the understanding process was easier through real objects. Meanwhile, the conventional model applied was not enough to produce learning outcomes that reached the KKTP

    PENGEMBANGAN MULTIMEDIA INTERAKTIF DENGAN MODEL PBL BERBASIS HOTS PADA MATERI MENAFSIRKAN DATA KELAS V SD

    This research aims to develop Interactive Multimedia with ModelsPBL BasedI.EIn Material for Interpreting Class V Elementary School Data that is valid, practical and effective. This type of research isRD by using modelsADDIE. The research subjects were fifth grade students at SDN 38 Lubuklinggau. Data collection in research was carried out by observation, interviews, questionnaires and tests. The instruments used are questionnaire sheets, written questions. The research results show that the product developed is valid with an average validity of 0.88 and is practical based on the recapitulation results of teachers' practicality assessments,one to one and small groups with a high classification of 0.88, and are effective in improving student learning outcomes based on scoresN-Gain in large group trials it was 0.73 in the high category. Based on the research results, it was concluded that the product developed was proven to be valid, practical and effective so that it was suitable for use in interpreting class V bar and line diagram data at SDN 38 Lubuklinggau
