This report was carried out within the scope of the Master in Pre-School Education and 1st Cycle of Basic Education and its main purpose is to present an investigation resulting from the experience and activities developed in the Supervised Teaching Practice. The practice took place in a private institution, in a classroom attended by nineteen primary school students from four different years of schooling, which, from the beginning of the internship period, proved to be very participatory and involved in the proposals for curriculum work. Due, above all, to the unusual constitution of this group, I tried to focus my study on collective moments, essentially those that result from curricular learning, to understand in more detail how the interactions unfold in which all the children in the group are included. With this objective in mind, a qualitative methodology was used, using naturalistic and participant observation and interviews as research techniques. As research instruments, the logbook and audio recordings were privileged, which mainly intended to record the interactions between the teacher and the students and, later, between them and the intern, in collective moments. The data collected made it possible to analyze in depth the type of questioning used by the teacher, the way in which she involved the children in the discussions and the way in which she adapted her speech to the heterogeneity of the group. It also made it possible to perceive the importance of collective moments and how they create great opportunities for all students, with their differences and distinct knowledge and through the right mediation, to build knowledge
The effectiveness of psychological treatment in adult male convicted for sexual offenses against children: A systematic review
Child sexual abuse is a public health problem of global magnitude with profound and negative consequences for the victims and society. Thus, psychological intervention with individuals who sexually offended against children is crucial for reducing recidivism. Numerous reviews and meta-analyses have shown the effectiveness of psychological interventions in individuals who sexually offended, but few reviews have been done on this subtype of offenders. This article reviews evaluation studies of intervention programs designed to treat individuals who sexually offended against children, providing a more detailed account of treatment procedures. Articles were identified from peer-reviewed databases, bibliographies, and experts. Following full-text review, 12 studies were selected for inclusion by meeting the following criteria: quantitative or qualitative research studies published in English from 2000 to 2020 with titles or abstracts that indicated a focus on treatment effectiveness, detailing the psychological treatment procedures on adult, male individuals convicted for child sexual abuse. Cognitive-behavioral therapy with a relapse prevention approach was the most frequent modality found in child sexual offending treatment. Besides, different criminogenic and non-criminogenic factors emerge as targets for intervention. Study design, study quality, and intervention procedures shortened the accumulation of evidence in treatment effectiveness. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The study of gender identity, appears in the cientific investigation as a theme that is the target of an indiscriminate pathological load - associated with movements that comprise the process of child development and that establish the conceptual paradigm of the ortodox sexua-lity.
Nowadays, it is possible to affirm that the deconstruction of sexuality promoted the composi-tion of a search engine in the therapeutic comunity, which aims to answer all the questions that this topic raises in the internal world of individuals who present incongruence between the sexed body and gender psychically established or all those who simply do not fit into the soci-ally imposed binary sistem. Therefore, this study aims to explore the need to create a safe space for sharing, in which it is possible to monitor the individual's transition and encourage their emancipation. It also intends to understand the various dimensions that encompass gender self-determination in consideration of change, social roles, the clinical approach and the therapeutic relationship.
In the first stage of the investigation, a theoretical framework was carried out, in which some key concepts on the subject are portrayed for a more illustrative understanding of the study in question, in the perspective of the health professional in reference to clinical work with the trans community.; ; ; ; ;
Working with people experiencing homelessness in Europe
In Europe, the widespread transition from the Traditional Staircase (TS)
model to the Housing First (HF) model is transforming the way social service
providers work with people experiencing homelessness. This study examined
social service providers’ perspectives in both models regarding factors
that facilitate or hinder their work. Data were collected through 17 photovoice
projects involving 81 social service providers from eight European
countries. The results show factors affecting social service providers’ work
at three levels: systemic, organizational, and individual. Professionals in TS
and HF identified similar topics; however, TS providers discussed more
obstacles to work. Implications for practice are discussed.Comissão Européiainfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersio

Do Self-Reported Psychopathic Traits Moderate the Relations Between Delinquent History Predictors and Recidivism Outcomes in Juvenile Delinquents?
The present study investigates whether self-reported psychopathic traits moderate the relationships between delinquent career features (i.e., age of first detention in a juvenile detention center, crime frequency, crime diversity, crime charges, and Conduct Disorder) and 1-year general delinquency and violent delinquency recidivism outcomes. The sample was composed of male youth (N = 214, M = 16.4 years, SD = 1.3 years) originating from the juvenile detention centers managed by the Ministry of Justice of Portugal. Results mostly suggest that neither the Antisocial Process Screening Device––Self-Report total score nor its Callous-Unemotional, Impulsivity, and Narcissism factor scores moderate the relationships between the delinquent career variables and general and violent delinquency recidivism outcomes. The notable exception was the interaction between crime frequency and callous-unemotional traits in predicting general recidivism. The current findings question the relevance of self-reported psychopathic traits as moderators of recidivism among juveniles despite the general association between psychopathy and conduct problems among youthinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersio
Words around Information Literacy: Construction and use of concepts to support scholarship as conversation
Inspired by Scholarship as Conversation, a frame from the conceptual ACRL Framework (ACRL,
2016), this study aims to reflect on Information Literacy concepts, expressed in a specific
terminology, that the discipline, particularly in higher education, has been adding, contributing
to the construction of this scientific area and dialogue in academy and profession. The work
seeks to demonstrate how concepts of information literacy in higher education has evolved in
parallel with the publication of theoretical frameworks, defined from guiding documents. This
vision aims to clear knowledge of the discourse produced on information literacy, showing
trends, and investigative clues. Terminology produced in Information Literacy strengthens the
affirmation of the disciplinary field, benefiting the scientific community through a more assertive
and understandable dialogue between researchers.N/
Green human resources practices and person-organization fit: The moderating role of the personal environmental Commitment
Based on the 2030 Agenda of the United Nations (UN), where 17 Sustainable Development Goals
(SDGs) are identified, the present study aims to (1) propose a measure for the perception of green
human resources management practices; (2) investigate its relationship with the employees’ personorganization fit, and (3) analyze the moderating role of personal environmental commitment in the
relationship between the perception of green human resources management practices and
employees’ person-organization fit. A quantitative and hypothetical-deductive approach was used,
and a sample of 204 Portuguese employees responded to an online questionnaire. The results showed
(1) that the proposed measure for the perception of green HR practices was adapted to the Portuguese
population and showed excellent internal consistency; (2) a significant and positive relationship
between perceived green HR practices and person-organization fit; and (3) that this relationship can
be moderated by high personal environmental commitment. The study presents novelty and
contributes to the existing literature concerning green HR practices by proposing an adapted
measure, relating it to person-organization fit, and verifying the moderated role of personal
environmental commitment. Thus, the effective implementation of green HRM practices is
highlighted to promote positive consequences in the organization and the employees.info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersio
High variability in nest site selection in a loggerhead turtle rookery, in Boa Vista Island, Cabo Verde
Among sea turtles, nest site selection is a crucial factor for hatching success and population viability. The
relocation of otherwise doomed clutches to safe hatcheries has been widely promoted as a conservation strategy,
although this may promote artificial selection of poorly adapted genotypes. In this study, we used multiyear
spatial nesting data of individual loggerhead turtles (Caretta caretta) from one of the largest Atlantic rookeries, in
Cabo Verde, across six consecutive nesting seasons (2013–2018), to identify spatial nesting patterns, assess how
individual nest site selection is influenced by female size and age, and estimate the impacts on the reproductive
output. Although females nested across the entire beach width, they preferentially nested in the middle of the
beach, avoiding to nest both close to the tideline and close to the vegetation line. Hatching success decreased
towards the waterline, while the risk of nest inundation or predation was high, regardless of nest location. In
general, females showed high variability in nest site selection, except larger females (> 93 cm curved carapace
length) that showed higher repeatability (r = 0.50, SE = 0.14, 95% CI: 0.16–0.72) in distances to the vegetation.
We therefore suggest that the relocation of doomed clutches should be considered for this endangered rookery, as
clutch relocation should not substantially distort the gene pool, assuming nest choice is a heritable trait. In
addition, we recommend the preservation of beach vegetation, particularly in areas with human developmet.info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersio
Are prayer-based Interventions effective pain management options? A systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials
This review examined the efects of private and communal participatory prayer on
pain. Nine databases were searched. Six randomized controlled trials were included.
For private prayer, medium to large efects emerged for 67% to 69% of betweengroup comparisons; participants in the prayer condition reported lower pain intensity
(0.59<d<26.17; 4 studies) and higher pain tolerance (0.70<d<1.05; 1 study). Preto post-intervention comparisons yielded medium to large efects (0.76<d<1.67;
2 studies); pain intensity decreased. Although frm conclusions cannot be made
because meta-analysis was based on only two studies, the analysis suggested prayer
might reduce pain intensity (SMD=−2.63, 95% CI [−3.11, −2.14], I=0%).
