Doświadczenie wyniesione z udziału w projektach badawczo-rozwojowych realizowanych w ciągu ostatnich lat pod auspicjami Dolnośląskiej Szkoły Wyższej we Wrocławiu pokazało – po pierwsze, że z perspektywy reprezentowanych przez nas różnych dyscyplin naukowych ogląd badanych fenomenów ma charakter dopełniający się, po drugie, że rysuje się możliwość redefi nicji utylitarnej funkcji nauki przez sięgnięcie do tekstów lokowanych w paradygmacie, którego początki sięgają wprawdzie połowy XX wieku, ale który dziś, w związku z pogłębiającym się kryzysem normatywności, zdaje się nie tyle przeżywać renesans, ile być kluczowy dla tej fazy rozwoju badań jakościowych, którą Norman Denzin i Yvonna Lincoln we Wprowadzeniu do ostatniego wydania znanego podręcznika badań jakościowych określają jako przełomowa przyszłość
Młodzi dorośli między światem szkoły a światem pracy. Polityka – badania – rekomendacje
Get PDFW artykule opisujemy fazę życia jednostki określaną jako czas tranzycji (przejścia). Interesuje nas ten rodzaj „przejścia”, który pojawia się na skutek decyzji młodych dorosłych o opuszczeniu świata szkoły na rzecz świata pracy. W pierwszej części uzasadniamy złożoność kontekstów interesującej nas tranzycji począwszy od cech współczesnej pracy, przez charakterystykę okresu debiutu młodych w świecie dorosłych, do wykazania zmienności natury samej tranzycji. Następnie prezentujemy syntetyczny model komparatystycznego ujęcia zróżnicowanych faz przejścia w różnych krajach OECD. Ostatnia część tekstu odnosi się do praktyki społecznej, ale w sposób szczególny. Prezentujemy zalecenia, jakie są przedkładane różnym krajom OECD (w tym Polski) w odniesieniu do realizowanych przez te kraje działań dotyczących faz przejścia ze szkoły do pracy
Problem imigracji w relacjach francusko-niemieckich
Get PDFThe aim of this article is to present the differences and similarities in national migration policy in France and Germany. Facing the dysfunction of the French assimilation model and Germany’s immigration profile, migration and integration of immigrants are the main themes of bilateral cooperation. The engagement in this fi eld was easy to observe during the both presidencies in the Council of European Union in 2007 and 2008. The author of this article proves that the process of europeization of Germany’s and France’s national migration policy influences their home aff airs policies. It causes building of the new institutions and establishing of the new legislation rules on migration, asylum and integration of immigrants. Zabawa jako medium dziecięcej codzienności: etnografia w przedszkolu
Get PDFThe main thesis of this article is that the teacher is the most competent person to carry out ethnographic research in the kindergarten. After all, it is the teacher who plays a natural part in the children’s everyday lives, where the role of play is predominant. By creating, performing and transforming the social elements of play in a collective manner, children work out procedures which give meaning to various social situations and thereby construct an individual vision of the world. This all happens in the presence of the teacher who observes children’s behaviour and by listening to what they say, and can view reflexively the social practices involved in the creation of children’s reality. A significant element in this is play, which one can describe as a medium between the child’s inner world – his knowledge, emotions, fears, fascinations – and the outer world, in which every child is an active participant and a careful observer. The second part of the article consists of an extension of this thesis, supported by excerpts of ethnographic observations recorded in a kindergarten. The observations made refer to play as a medium and state that it is 1) a mirror of ordinary children’s concerns, 2) training preparing them to participate in their future, everyday adult lives, 3) their authentic everyday life, where they succeed, fail and confront each other, 4) prediction of the types of future social interactions they will be involved in, and 5) a source of self knowledge, preferences and biases
