Development of an Assistant System for Website Construction and an Effect of Using Open Source Software

    Get PDF
publisherIn a rapid spread of using the Internet, we developed a system of assistance for Website construction by using open source software. The open source software can use without charge and also its stability and security are no less than commercial software. In this paper, we describe the mechanism of this system and consider advantages of using open source software.departmental bulletin pape

Trials of the department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering for securing applicants to the Tsuyama National College of Technology

publisherIn the Department of the Electric and Electronics Engineering (DEEE) at Tsuyama National College of Technology (TNCT), it has the very important problems with regard to securing applicants for admission. For the settlement of the issues, the following efforts have been made: 1) the outside catering lecture for junior high school students, 2) the visitation to junior high school together with the advanced engineering students of TNCT, 3) the presentation of the department merits at the open campus and 4) opening the attractive homepage of the DEEE to the public. In this paper, the details about the above trials are reported and those effects are discussed.departmental bulletin pape

Research and Development of a Safety Drainpipe with Vortex Chamber free from the Danger of getting caught in Pool Drain - Analysis of the Dynamic Response of Suction Force caused by Change of Flow -

    Get PDF
publisherIn this study, a new drainpipe with vortex chamber was developed in order to free from the danger of getting caught in drain of swimming pool. The new drainpipe can control the suction force with the working of vortex flow. This paper deals with the dynamic response of suction force caused by the change of flow. At first, the dynamic responses are experimentally investigated by using small size drainpipe. Then a technical method based on the analogy between fluid-system and electric-circuit is described to predict the response of large drainpipe for practical use.departmental bulletin pape

Study on a permutation problem of Blind Source Separation

    Get PDF
publisherSubstitution problem in blind signal isolating circuit was examined on the system in the echo canceller that blind signal separation proposed in advance was pretreated. As FDSOS using actual sound condition and voice sample the algorithm of the blind signal separation the basic performance it evaluates. Next, the combination of the parameter that it arranges parameter in the algorithm and relationship between the required condition variously and maximizes the separating function by the experiment it investigates investigate.departmental bulletin pape

Performance Evaluations of SiC Power Device (2nd Report)

    Get PDF
publisherIn recent years, next generation SiC (Silicon Carbide) power devices became to be in practical use. Last year, the authors evaluated the switching losses in basic experimental circuit and proposed the most suitable applications of SiC-SBD (Shottkey Barrier Diode). In this study, the authors evaluated SiC-SBD with IGBTs in practical inverter circuit. From the experimental results, switching losses of this inverter is lowered sufficiently over 100kHz frequency range.departmental bulletin pape

A Data modeling for Production of Many Models in Small Quantities

    Get PDF
publisherRecently, in order to compete with the productivity increase of developing countries, value added goods or services are needed in Japan. Some companies intend to adopt production systems of many models in small quantities to meet consumer request without a rise in production costs. But as these systems complicate inventory and parts management, the management by human hands is difficult. This paper describes a data modeling which is a basic technology to realize the management automatically.departmental bulletin pape

On the Aspects of Fermion Matrix in Lattice QCD at Finite Density

    Get PDF
publisherOnce the quark chemical potential μ is introduced in Lattice QCD at finite density, the fermion determinant det Δ(μ) appeared in the path integral measure becomes complex. In order to investigate the phase effect of SU(3) lattice QCD, we calculated the fluctuation of the phase of det Δ(μ) on a 8(3) × 4 lattice at μa = 0.1, 0.2 and 0.25, as functions of β = 2N(c)/g(2) from 5.20 to 5.40, where a is the lattice spacing. Then we calculated the chiral condensate and Polyakov line in the phase qucneched and reweighted cases. There is little difference between these two cases in these range of μa. To examine phase effects more, we study the range of μa = 0.0 ∼ 1.4. We confirmed that the conjugate gradient calculation is possible in the higher density region though it was difficult in the intermediate density region (approximately μa = 0.3 ∼ 1.0). We calculated the the chiral condensate, Polyakov line, quark number density and the phase effect as functions of the μa at β = 5.30. We also investigated eigenvalue distributions of the fermion Matrix.departmental bulletin pape

Thermal Strain of Thermally Cycled Alminum Alloy Composites

    Get PDF
publisherAluminum alloy composites reinforced with aluminum borate particles (ABp) were thermally cycled between 293K and Tmax = 573K, 673K and 773K. Composites thermally cycled at Tmax = 573K and 673K were contracted by 1,000 cycles, but after that expanded with increasing the number of thermal cycling. Composites thermally cycled at Tmax = 773K uniformly expanded with increasing the number of thermal cycling. The thermal strain on thermal cycling of composites reinforced with ABp is less than that of composites reinforced with aluminum borate whiskers. The HR-TEM observation revealed that an ABp was composed from super fine particles. The finite element method analysis assumed the plastic deformation was caused in the composites heated from 273K to 573K.departmental bulletin pape
